For a 2-star, this place is amazing. Clean, quaint, good breakfast. I have stayed in 3-star hotels I was less satisfied with. I highly recomment Hotel Alsace Lorraine.

The people were lovely. The room was as described. We were completely comfortable.
It isn't fun getting bags up and down a narrow stairway but it isn't a big deal either. We expected it.
