Great location very conveniently located within a four minutes walk to the bus or tram stations allowing unlimited access to the entire city. The room is spacious with contemporary furnishings. There is a rooftop patio which allows for a relaxing cup of coffee in the morning or a soft glass of wine in the evening while taking in the view of the quiet canal. The area is very quiet and a perfect place for a weekend getaway! The owners are very friendly and go out of their way to ensure the comfort of their guests!
Not a critique but a suggestion. maybe it would be possible to extend the patio out a bit further in order to look down the canal
The host was super friendly and made us feel at home in Amsterdam! Clean, great view of the mill and canal, will definitely come back!
All was excellent
The owner of Minties were extremely nice, they did the check-in/out personally, everything was very uncomplicated. The room and bath are very clean, there is even a littlle fridge with free drinks. The messages, between me and Wout, before the stay were very helpful. The B&B was easy to find and there is a P+R location only 3 busstops away. You get to the next bus stop by foot in only 2 minutes and it takes about 15 min with the bus to the city centre. The B&B is a good location for a short stay like a city trip. The sauna is nice and clean and you get a towel and a bathrobe when you wanz to use it.
The towel for the shower was a bit small, but you can get as much towels as you want without any extra costs so thats okay. The only thing witch was kind of a disapointment is that the walls of the rooms are very thin you can almost hear everything through that walls from your nighbours. Especially when the nighbours are extrmely noisy and don‘t know how to behave like they did on our stay.
Everything was very nice. A kind welcoming with help from the owner with the luggage. Information about everything was provided. A small filled fridge that was very appreciated. The area was very quiet in general. Nice Sauna next to our room with one free use and everything we needed was provided. Almost everything looked new and nicely done, modern and stylish. The beds very awesome, for me, the most important thing in an apartment. The heating worked very well, which was important in November. The location is not far from the city center and excellent to reach by public transport. We recommend to buy the GVB "all in one" ticket for as many days as you are staying. We had a wonderful time at minties.
All was very good, just recommendations from a detail loving German: Too big people might find the bathroom a bit small (even if the shower was large enough). Also there is no real door for the bathroom, just a sliding door. I can imagine people not so close to each other find it irritating. But it is all shown on the website, it would be unfair to complain about it. I also do not recommend arriving by car, as there are no parking spots nearby, you will have to use a (very cheap but complicated) P+R parking garage.
Clean room Complementary beverages at the minibar Nice view Good location Cheap
No proper check in or out Very loud renovation work going on during our stay from 11 am every day Extremely uncomfortable bed Too little trash bin No breakfast
