Pros (+) Canal view was great, and the staff were very attentive.
Cons (-) The room felt like a college dorm room. Cold and uninviting. Only one flat pillow on the bed. Did not feel like a 4 star hotel.

Pros (+) Excellent room over looking a canal. Very easy walk to many museums and US Embassy.
Cons (-) The lobby was very hot due to the hot weather but also the large number of windows. Some sort of shades or awnings would have been helpful.

Cons (-) It was very dirty and smelly. The room had not been properly cleaned- it was dusty, the bathroom was mouldy and there was garbage under our bed. There was a mouldy, musky smell in the entire hotel, from the 2nd floor and above. We paid quite a bit of money to stay in this "4 star" hotel, but the hotel was no more than a 2 1/2 star in my opinion. I would note recommend staying here.

Pros (+) For European standards, it was very spacious and was the best hotel I have stayed at for under $150 Euros. Great value, good location and I would stay there again.
Cons (-) Hotel room did not have dresser or microwave. (Microwave was available if you go down stairs).
