Good room for a good price
Not just a plain Jane hotel it was decorated cute personal touch .. it was clean and comfortable recommend !! Great price

Formerly known as the Lamplighter when it was created in 1962, the Atomic Motel in Astoria, OR is now a unique place for guests to stay that is akin to taking a trip through time to mid-century America. This motel offers an interesting theme, and it even has décor and treats that are meant to evoke the mood of the era.
Both the exterior and the interior of the Atomic Motel have a retro feel to them. The rooms are pet-friendly and have all of the basic amenities guests will need. There is a flat screen television in the comfortable, retro lobby, as well. The motel also offers retro cruiser bikes for those who want to get out and explore all that Astoria has to offer.
Guests who are staying at the motel will find that a popular eatery called Pig’N Pancake is located right next door. This is an eatery that is as iconic as the motel. Some of the other places to dine in Astoria include Fort George Brewery, Bowpicker Fish & Chips, Baked Alaska, Buoy Beer Co., and Bridgewater Bistro.
