Beautiful building, great location, wonderful rooms, great room service.
Stayed here for my wedding night. Had to book two separate reservations since the first night I stayed with my bridesmaids and needed two beds, then switched to a room with one bed. I wished the hotel reception was able to do that under one reservation but they said I had to do it under two. It was a bit annoying because I had to complete check-in twice but they were able to hold my bags and put them in the new room once it was ready. I love the Driskill. It's an iconic hotel in Austin that I've always wanted to stay at. There are great views of the City from the rooms and it's in the heart of downtown which makes it easy to get around and explore Austin.
Love the Driskill. It's such an iconic hotel in the heart of Austin. The inside of the hotel is gorgeous and historic. The rooms are very clean. Staff is very professional. I stayed there the night before my wedding with my bridesmaids and we were sent a delicious chocolate cake to our room from the front desk to make our stay a bit more special! I would definitely stay there again.
Very quiet 0 and comfortable. Excellent breakfast on site.

Enjoyed the atmosphere with all the cowboy related items. Liked the it was built in the 1800's.
Would have loved it if it had a pool.
