Pros: From the minute I entered the hotel I was made to feel very welcome. I was greeted at the front desk by Raj and his supervisor who allowed me to choose a snack from the pantry as a welcome gift for staying there. The bedroom was clean and modern. It was located near everything so easy to walk to everything in the inner harbor
Cons: A block away fron the hotel are some strip clubs. I was there on a Saturday and didn't hear a thing. If you walk on the other side of the hotel you can avoid seeing. They also had Fox News showing at breakfast. Literally any other channel would have been better.

Cons: After paying over 300 hundred a night, they ofer you a view upgrade for an extra 40 a night, which is fine is a beautiful view of the harbor, but you have to pay an extra 30 dollars a day to park your car. And when I ask the offer me the internet for free but since the person that checked me in was not there they tried to backed out of it saying that there was no way they could give it to me for free because it was 15 more a day. The people at front desk were very, very rude. Except when you are checking in and they are trying to sell you something.

Pros: I travel to Baltimore on business several times each year. And this hotel has always been my favorite place to stay. Good location, very good food, and just a nice ambiance.
Cons: This time -- if seemed a little off. I got to my room and there was an overwhelming chemical smell. I didn't know if the room was just renovated (it was very nice, but it didn't seem that way) or they were trying to cover something up. Maybe I should have requested another room, but I was beat, so I did not. Secondly, in what must be an attempt to be "cutting edge", they give each bed three very small pillows. Really, they were the size of throw pillows that you put on your couch. I don't know if their research tells them that people's heads are getting smaller or something, but I just could not get comfortable. When I first saw the room, I thought they forgot sleeping pillows on both beds. Then I looked in the closet for the normal sized ones -- no luck. As sleeping is the #1 reason people stay in hotels, this is kind of a bummer. Very hard for me to get to sleep each night. Third, at breakfast in the morning they have a very nice buffet. it is expensive (about $22-23 + tip), but that is the going rate at nice hotels. But one of the mornings I stayed there, even though it wasn't terribly busy, they were very undermanned at the restaurant. I pretty much had to "steal" coffee and cream etc from other tables, as I could not get service (after waiting 15 minutes to be seated). I'm glad it was a buffet, or I'd still be waiting for that breakfast. I left a good tip of course, as that is a management problem and not the employees' fault. Maybe I'm being hard on the hotel, but it is expensive to stay there, and I know they can do much better, as they have done so many times in the past.

Pros: The staff was friendly and nice and the facility had everything at your finger tips.
Cons: The front desk rep gave wrong information about breakfast to everyone. A lot of people were coming down at the end of breakfast and there was a sign but not reenforcing the hours close to the breakfast location so everyone was confused. One of the workers stay that it happens everyday because the front desk says one time but does not specify between week day and weekend.

Cons: I don’t like my breakfast fruit covered with preservatives but the oatmeal and the other items were quite nice. The coffee is a little bit weak. Having Hilton honors membership did help me upgrade my room which they wouldn’t do it until I told him that I was a member so I was very relieved about that because the initial room they assigned me had no window of note. After that everything was quite nice and everyone was quite helpful. I should add that the parking fees were extreme Although the parking attendants were always very polite and solicitous. Pros: Staff upbeat and helpful! Room was clean, all touch spaces were clean! ( Light switches/ door knobs / tv remote / curtain pull rods). Spacious room.

Pros: The rooms were very nice and the beds were comfortable. There was a good selection of breakfast options, and it was nice that they had grab and go bags. I also thought the fitness center was very clean and everything was functioning properly. The valet drivers were also very friendly and helpful, and got the car quickly every time we needed it.
Cons: Very strong chlorine smell in the basement near the pool. One elevator was broken the entire time I was there, and the functioning elevator moved quite slowly. I was also disappointed that there was no hotel bar, as the Hampton usually has complimentary happy hour in addition to the included breakfast. I erroneously assumed that the "complimentary beverage area" referred to on the website included a bar with happy hour.

Pros: We were very disappointed. Hotel was kind of smelly. No fresh air in the building. Swimming pool area was dirty . The hot tub was not hot at all . It was warm water. We received a great service from all of the front desk staff and we liked the comp breakfast

Pros: I booked this hotel as a last minute getaway for the family. The staff were overwhelmingly friendly, rooms were clean and it was in close proximity to dowtown. The pool and hot tub, while small, were sufficient. The Orioles stadium is right across the street, so it would be a great location if going to a game. Also, lots of restaurants nearby.
Cons: The food provided for the continental breakfast was your typical items and looked good, however the location was not sufficient to handle a large group of people. The staff did eventually open a meeting room so there was extra seating. The only other negative is location, if staying with young kids (mine were 5 &7). It was more of a hike than I expected to Inner Harbor.

Pros: The bed was super comfortable! Loved the indoor pool + hot tub!
Cons: When I booked the hotel it stated, high speed WiFi and complimentary breakfast. NOPE!!!!! You have to pay $12.49 for the WiFi and we thought the breakfast was COMPLIMENTARY but half was through eating and nice lady put a $39 bill on our table. I asked the reception "that I thought the breakfast was complimentary" they told me that only when you upgrade your room when booking it's free. Well don't be fooled because I was. My conformation says complimentary breakfast, but they told me my room did not come with it! The only reason I booked this hotel was it had great reviews and the WiFi and free breakfast. Let's just say lesson learned and I won't be returning!! If WiFi and free breakfast is a want like it was for me, this hotel is not for you!

Pros: We arrived in Baltimore at Noon on a weekday and booked online while sitting in the car just down the block. I then called the Inn to get advice on parking and check-in time. Though check-in time was normally 3pm, they informed me that they had a room ready and that they could accommodate us immediately. Valet parking was offered - and though not included in the room rate, was very convenient and not too expensive. You can't beat booking a room on your phone and then walking into it 10 minutes later. Every single member of the staff we encountered was super-friendly and very accommodating. Though we did not need anything special during our stay, it truly seemed like the sort of place where they would go out of their way - and be genuinely happy to do so. The charm of the Inn - which includes a variety of very differently-appointed rooms - was only surpassed by the location. If you intend to hang out in the Fell's Point area, I can't imagine a better place to stay. We found it to be a comfortable walking distance to all of the Inner Harbor attractions as well. We did not stay over a weekend night, so I really cannot attest to how the noise from nearby bars might affect the Inn when things (like live music) are going later on those nights, but we definitely enjoyed the proximity enough that I would put up with some of that even if it did filter into the rooms. It was not inexpensive, but fairly priced. Will definitely stay there again on future trips.
Cons: This is not really even a complaint, but the first morning we found coffee and continental breakfast laid out in the lobby - and a very nice quaint atrium seating area nearby. There were no waitstaff present and no signs indicating anything about price, etc. so made the reasonable assumption that it was included. We found out after eating that it apparently was not, but when I offered repeatedly to pay they refused to accept it. Since they handled it this way, it is certainly a positive… but a little better communication would have prevented the situation.

Pros: The hotel and room themselves were very clean and comfortable. The pool, whirlpool, and sauna would wonderful. Those definitely helped make up for the shortcomings of the rest of the facilities, namely parking and food. Also, we had a great view of the city.
Cons: Parking was a nightmare. After a 3 hour drive, I did not appreciate having to spend 40 minutes trying to park. The Hilton garage was full. They did not offer valet service to park my car elsewhere. Instead, they advised me to "follow the car in front of you to the Holiday Inn", but they clearly didn't give the car in front of my directions. When we finally got to the Holiday Inn, they didn't have any parking. I finally ended up at a private parking garage and paid double what I would have paid at the Hilton. Immediately after check-in, we went to the Diamond Tavern, the Hilton's in-house restaurant. Except it wasn't really in-house. There was very poor signage directing people to the restaurant. It turns out you had to go up to floor 2, then through a skywalk, then down to floor 1 again. The restaurant was not crowded, and we had reservations, but it took 45 minutes for them to bring us our food. It was absolutely ridiculous. Speaking of poor signage, if you're looking for the fitness center, it's on the fourth floor. We only found that by reading those "about your stay" binders in our room. No signs until you're already there.

Cons: Couldn't even check in 1 hour early. Stayed here due to proximity to Camden Yards so we could park and not have to worry about our vehicle. When we arrived we were told they didn't have room to valet our car because of the game, which is the entire reason we picked this hotel. Whatever. We went to the 4pm baseball game and came back to check in. They gave us keys to a room occupied by another family. Went back to the front desk and was told they had no room for us because of a flood and they were waiting for a room to become available. Said we could go to the pool and then get dinner. While in the pool they told us the restaurant was closing early so we would have to order carryout. We ordered carryout at 9:30pm and didn't receive our food until 11:15pm because we were told to wait in the lobby by the front desk staff and apparently our food was taken somewhere else. My 3 kids aged 5 to 10 were miserable waiting until after 11pm to eat. Finally got into our room around midnight. Complained the next day to the manager and was told we wouldn't have to pay for our stay. It's been over a week and we are still waiting for the credit to our account. Called the accounting department, left message and never heard back from them. When we were there it was very apparent many people were having numerous problems with the hotel including 15 minute waits for the elevator. It was also apparent management is not willing to roll up their sleeves and get things done. They appeared more likely to be found hiding in a back room somewhere.

Pros: The location was great, right next to Camden Yards to see the Orioles baseball game.

Cons: I asked for a refrigerator at time of booking was told there was one in every room, because of a need to store medication. This was not the case when I called the front desk they told me they didn't have any rooms with this. This is a 1 night stay hotel because it has no comforts of home. I understand the week days we were there was a holiday but the elevators were slow and in effective wait times to get on was up to 45 min. Hilton should rethink this hotel and sell to super 8 thats the type experience this was.

Pros: The staff were all fairly friendly, despite the stress of the giant con going on, and the second level sky bridge gives extremely convenient access to the convention center. The lobby provides a great meeting place to hang out, and is pretty beautiful looking (although security may need to step up their game. More than one homeless drunk stumbled their way in to the lobby and hung around during my stay).
Cons: This was my first year staying at the Hilton for a con. Previously, my friends and I had always stayed at the Days Inn down the road. The Days Inn is pretty nice. It has a mini-fridge, a microwave, free high speed Internet, a fan in the bathroom, and a parking system that let you move your car in and out of the garage during your stay without having to pay every time you left it. You know what the Hilton had? None of these things. To top it off, the smaller room at the Hilton was actually more expensive than the larger one at the Days Inn. When I tried to pay for a cot for my third friend, they wouldn't let us because having a cot in the room was considered a fire hazard. I mentioned parking already, but it's the worst. Essentially every time you need to take your car out to do something, it's going to be $30. And if you leave your car in for the full day, it's still going to cost you that per day. Honestly, I recommend finding some cheaper parking on the outskirts of the city, and taking an Uber or Taxi to the hotel if you can. Overall it just wasn't the worth the price of admission.

Pros: On a business trip - checked in at 2pm and because check-in wasn't for a bit, front desk helped me out. "Upgraded" me to an amazing suitt overlooking Camden yards. It was a rainy cold night, and the orioles were not in town. I can appreciate upgrading someone when neither of the above were factors. The room (667) had great views and hangout areas, BUT NO BED!!! Pros: The hotel is adjacent to Camden Yards and a reasonable distance from shopping and restaurants. The room was comfortable with generally good amenities. The hotel connects to the convention center.

Pros: We traveled here for a one night trip to attend an Oriole's game. The ball park is immediately next to the ball park and you can actually see the park from most of the rooms. It's also abuts the convention center in addition to having its own meeting space. Would be an excellent place for a conference or to stay for an event at the convention center. The coffee bean and tea leaf was excellent and the room was clean enough and pretty comfortable.
Cons: Really wanted to use the pool with our baby but it was incredibly cold. That was a big bummer. Also didn't know it was pet friendly and we had a dog that was pretty unhappy near us.

Pros: Quiet, clean room, friendly front desk, nice location
Cons: We got in late and the room I reserved wasn't available. We had to get a double, and then the staff wasn't sure if the crib for our baby would fit. Never would have been a problem if the original room was available. Breakfast the next morning was absolutely terrible. Everything was cold or half cooked. Staff was arguing in the dining room about who was getting how much of a tip, who was working hardest, etc. Customers were waiting and looking around. I can't emphasize how terrible breakfast was, and it was not cheap either.

Pros: Room was a suite so it was large and comfortable, Windows on two sides of the room. Bed was comfortable. Two types of pillows to choose from. Hotel breakfast was hot, pre-prepared food; pretty good selection. TV rotated to face bed or couch. Good sized closet with ample hangers. Safety bars in two locations on the tub. Sink with large mirror in the suite (wet bar) which gave another place to put on make-up or place personal items other than the bathroom. Elevators responded quickly. Easy walk to several restaurants.
Cons: I called the hotel to make the reservation because we needed a walk-in shower. My husband had knee surgery and would have difficulty stepping over the edge of a tub. We were told this room would have a walk-in tub. It did not. We managed but I was disappointed because we paid more for this room to get that feature. Water in the tub was very hard to regulate...either blistering hot or ice cold. It was very hard to find the spot that made the water "warm". No safe for valuables.

Pros: We loved how close it was in walking distance to the inner harbor. The breakfast was fantastic! We loved our stay. The staff was so nice, and the hotel was beautiful.
Cons: Just that we were in a room near the elevator which isn't ideal when you are trying to put little ones to bed early, but that is an easy fix of just requesting a room away from there.

Pros: My wife and I selected the DoubleTree for its across-the-street location to Johns Hopkins University where my daughter attends. In this aspect, the hotel has no peer. We found our King room spacious, quiet and clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly. The trademark DoubleTree cookies were delicious. Since our stay included Easter Sunday, we made arrangements for the Easter Brunch at the Alizee American Bistro. Each selection was outstanding in its preparation. I particularly liked the roast lamb. Overall I enjoyed my visit.
Cons: The DoubleTree Inn at the Colonnade is a fairly small hotel which occupies only the first three floors of a much larger building. As such, ammenities are understandably limited (i.e. no pool or jaccuzi, no recreation room) , although there is a small workout room. Parking is $24/day self park (which corresponds to $1/hr metered street parking on city streets) .

Pros: I liked the location.
Cons: I had booked a deluxe king room and prepaid. When I arrived I was told that there were no more deluxe king rooms available and the only room available had two beds and bunk beds. Confused I showed the gentleman behind the desk my conformation with room type and he told me that there was no guarantee on room type. He was rude and said thats all they had and if I didn't want it I could stay somewhere else. When I got into the room, there was an entire wall with a dog mural staring at me. The room wasn't clean, carpet dirty, hair in sink, then I walked into the bedroom and it is the strangest decor I have ever seen. Hip doesn't mean nothing matches and the most unattractive color palate ever! The furniture was visibly beat up, scratched and marks all over. The wall had multiple black marks all over and the toilet was running. I put my things down and headed to the front desk before leaving for dinner to advise them of the running toilet. Upon my return 2 hours later, as I opened the door to my room and the toilet was still running and I went to call the desk. My room was facing the the windows of other hotel rooms and I found myself rushing to close the curtains because a man across the way was watching me and being "self serving" - not the hotels fault, I know, but very creepy none the less. I wet down to the desk to ask about my toilet and the new gentleman at the desk said he had no record of my earlier complaint and there was no one from engineering to be able to fix it. I asked for another room and he said there weren't any, so I went upstairs and promptly checked out at 12:30 am, off to find another hotel. I asked not to be charged, but since I had prepaid, he said there was nothing he could do.

We really appreciated the help with that and with extra toothpaste/brush. Thankful that quality is always high across any Kimpton hotels I've stayed at.

Pros: I was attending a conference for most of the trip, and my partner also joined to check out local sites. It was a decent location within walking distance to a number of good restaurants and museums.
Cons: The room was somewhat small and the floor appeared to not have been vacuumed in a while (as noted by the dozens of small beads that were from a bracelet of a former inhabitant). I find the sliding bathroom door to be somewhat unusual since it didn't allow for privacy in the slightest. Lastly, we had to go to the front desk once a day to get the room key cards re-magnetized, so that we could enter the elevator to the room and our room.

Pros: Loved the room-extremely comfortable bed, smart design, bright and fresh. Loved the staff-no nonsense, friendly, helpful, wonderful smiles.
Cons: The ice machine directly outside the room-very minor irritant from the noise when ice was dispensed. $32 Valet parking per day through the hotel when one can park in the St. Paul St. garage only two blocks away for a fraction of the cost. This was disappointing because the third party through which the room was booked indicated the hotel provided parking but did not explain it was Valet for $32/day. The hotel does not validate parking in the garage.

Pros: The ONLY bright spot was the fact that a lady named Sharonda actually made us want to stay there, suggested and AND DID something to make us stay. Otherwise, EVERYTHING was bad. We would have left if it wasn't for Sharonda.
Cons: Breakfast wasn't ready on time, Linda was completely unaccomodating, linens were never changed in 8 nights, cleaning was minimal, the water pressure was low, they gave a key to our room to someone else, there was MOLD on the breakfast sandwiches for breakfast, the toilet seat was broken and the laundry area beside the gym had people's old clothes that were NEVER removed and were out in view, thrown EVERYWHERE.

Pros: Hotel and room was clean, good value for price. Nice sized.
Cons: Maid knocked and removed the privacy thing from the key slot to unlock the door when we were getting ready/showering which is why we had the do not disturb/privacy thing in the door. Luckily we had the deadbolt on or she would've barged in because we couldn't hear her the first time with the water running. Also upon check out, our receipthad my name vbut someone else's address on it and we discovered they paid about $30 less than us. We foundthis unprofessional.

Pros: It was the location of my work conference, therefore I could pop downstairs easily in the morning.
Cons: Upon check-in the front desk manager-in-training was quite rude when I nicely asked her if they had a king bed room available. Proceeded to talk down to me with very little respect and rolling her eyes. Even her colleagues seemed afraid of her. Had I paid for the hotel (and not my employer) I would have followed up. When I called room service to ask them for toilet paper, they gave me only one roll; and I even tipped well. On day of checkout someone knocked once on my door and proceeded to immediately open it at 7:30am (checkout is not until 12, mind you) waking me up and the door hitting the privacy lock hard. All she said was "checking out". I stated, yes- but not at 7:30 and closed the door. Completely terrible way to end my stay there. Upon conclusion of checking out, the same manager-in-training as was there initially gave me attitude when I AGAIN NICELY asked about the parking pass (as I had a certain days pass which was still valid yet the exit machine was attempting to charge me). I was quite nice about it, indicating that my final conference had just concluded and that my employer had covered the cost for the parking. She stated, "well it's charging you so you gonna have to pay". Worst customer service and attitude I have ever experienced. I am quite a passive person, so for me to feel this mistreated is completely based on the fact that it was terrible. Would definitely NOT recommend this hotel unless you want to be treated as if you were staying at a one star.

Pros: The staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate all of my needs. The room was clean and large and was perfect for my stay. The breakfast was pretty great too- lots of food and pretty good variety, which was especially nice to see on a weekday not just a weekend! Parking was easy and you could come and go as you please, no guard letting you in and out (or having to drive your car up for you) like some places I've been at. As I was arrivingI noticed that there was a police station right near the hotel, which also made me feel even better about staying there (note: nothing caused me to feel unsafe during the stay, it was just a peace of mind to know there were police nearby). Maybe a 10-15 minute walk to the inner harbor which wasn't too bad.

Pros: Room was comfortable. Staff was affable. Parking convenient. Location is tricky if you're an explorer, which I am...but Uber's to and from harbor were around $7.
Cons: Width ar conditioning on it still, felt humid in my room for some reason. Breakfast is sparse and a bit of a cluster f with everyone bumping into each other. Debi, who was working it, was very helpful though.

Pros: I have stayed at maaany hotels in this area, and none could compare to this stay. It was a bit pricy, but so worth it!! Friendliest staff ever, everything was so nice inside, the view of the harbor and skywalk was nice, the skywalk to the convention center was SO WONDERFUL. You could hear diners down in the outdoor grill very well from the 10th floor, that might bother some people, but the bed had me sleeping like a log! The room was lovely and welcoming.
Cons: I can't think of much, really!! I would have loved a fridge and maybe a microwave in the room, that would have made it perfect, but otherwise I can't complain!

Cons: The room I stayed has no hot water, instead of dealing it right away by switching room they decided to have utility staff to “fix” it. It was of course not fixed next day. Then they switched me to another room with very slow and delayed key exchange. It didn’t seem anyone cared much if or not this was handled correctly. The room itself was not very good. It has molded smell.

Pros: The furniture.
Cons: The staff does not help and is not genuine. The manager barged into our room without knocking and asked if we were staying the night... why would we be. The sheets and towels were stained with period blood, vomit and when we went downstairs to get fresh ones- it was the same issue. Absolutely horrific staff- they need to be fired. There was hair in the bathtub and toilet and bed before we even settled in or touched anything.
