A 2-minute walk from the beach in Baltrum, this hotel has individually furnished rooms overlooking the UNESCO Wadden Sea. It offers a breakfast buffet. Rooms at the family-run Hotel Fresena have HD TV and come in a variety of styles, ranging from rustic to modern, antique and romantic. Some have a North Sea theme with wood from real fishing boats. On all other days, there are restaurants serving German and international cuisine just a 2-minute walk away. Breakfast is served on the restaurant as well as on the terrace overlooking the dyke. Guests can enjoy drinks and regional snacks at the hotel in the cosy lounge with fireplace, or else beneath the southern dyke, where there are sunchairs and a lounge. Hotel Fresena is located on the traffic-free East Frisian Island of Baltrum, 800 metres from the ferry port, in the heart of the Wattenmeer National Park. The islands of Norderney and Langeoog are 5 km away by boat.
