Clean rooms, great location close to town and staff was extremely helpful
Not enough parking spots in the underground lot on just 1 of our 4 nights there
close walking distance to town/bus was one block away to take to downtown if youdidn't want to walk
very NOISY room. We faced street-smokers out all hours of night talking - did not sleep well at all
If parking isn't going to be available, previous notice would be nice.
I've stayed many times and quite like the facilities and the location, staff are always very friendly.
Parking was extremely limited because of an event on Saturday November 3rd. Because of this we had to park quite a way from the hotel. If I'd have known parking at the hotel wasn't available, I would have booked somewhere else. There was no warning when booking that parking wouldn't be available. Having multiple surgeries, a bad hip and knee, the reason I book at the Caribou is for the close and convenient parking.
Comfortable and clean. Good location and nice staff.
Great Banff lodge
Clean, spacious and well appointed rooms, nice spa, easy parking.
Parking structure ceiling is a little low (6'4") so if you have a taller vehicle or roof racks, watch out!
Great stay, would come again.
Great value, loved the decor. Brunch at the Keg was awesome!
Nice hotel, but busy and loud.
The room and the hotel was gorgeous and cute. Beds were comfortable.
Lots of families here- the "hot pool" which was a larger hot tub was meant for sitting and relaxing. It was being terrorized by a group of 10-12 year old demon boys.
Nice, but might not return...
Clean and very nice staff.
The wireless internet reminded me of AOL dialup circa 1998.
nice older hotel
We arrived early and our room wasn't ready so we were given bus passes to explore the area. Staff was friendly. Outside was pretty with benches and lots of beautiful flowers. Inside was quaint and themed. Keg restaurant in premises was a bonus.
It was older and showing the signs. No air conditioning. Elevators loud and rickety. Lighting in room not effective. Too bright in some areas and none in other areas. No coffee available until 630 am and wasn't refilled efficiently. Always lined up waiting for someone to replace empty coffee pot. Important because there was nowhere close by to purchase.
Good place to stay
Nice layout, good view out the window.
While I was there the whole town seemed to be waiting for snow, apparently it came late this year (2014). I was able to do some sight seeing and hiking. Only there two days, next time I want to stay longer.
Super friendly staff, great location and amenities
i enjoyed being able to use the pool at the other nearby hotels.
i did not appreciate the loud construction at 8:15 in the morning.
We felt the overall hotel was very nice. The staff was very friendly!
Thought the beds were uncomfortable.
Very efficient and nice staff. Spa is very good. Nice bathroom. Parking access and internet for free is nice to have. wildlife very close from the city if not in!
My room was a little dark. The hotel is a little far from downtown, you can walk (will take you goo 10 to 15 minutes - can be cold) but easier by car.
Red Earth Spa = Awesome
We've been woke up by drills and hummers noise, construction on the third floor, at 7:30 am...
Great lobby with open fire. Attractive decor in restaurant and a very good buffet breakfast. Good steam room.
Room rather narrow and would not have been much storage room for clothes etc. if we had been staying there on skiing trip.
Very friendly staff. Nice room.
Nice room, but small, location and accessability good.
Lack of room fridge.
Very impressed. Also, most appreciative of that fact that they were able to accommodate us on such short notice. Would also like to commend the Keg for it's wonderful breakfast buffet. Delicious!
I liked the location of the hotel in Banff, enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, and the ready availability of an excellent restaurant (The Keg).
The floor in our room had not been vacuumed properly. In addition, our room, like most hotel rooms, did not have adequate lighting.
