Location, cleanliness, stairs
Better experience than I expected, given the low star rating of this hotel. Would stay there again when we are not expected to stay in the room much.
Walls are thin and decor a little outdated (to be expected). No dining facility, which is fine as Banff has many restaurants in close proximity.
The staff is helpful and give me some useful information about the Banff. The price is good!
The location is a little far from the banff center, about 20 minutes walk. But if you have a car, it doesn't matter. Also, you can ask a bus ticket for free.
Perfect for the budget conscious traveller looking for an Inn with a cosy mountain feel. Bumpers is situated in a peaceful location at the start of Banff Avenue, surrounded on two sides by forest with the majestic Cascade Mountain in the background.
