Room had a smell. Hot water stopped working for two out of three days of our stay. Breakfast was at coffee club in the hotel lobby that was quite slow in service.

I stayed here twice during a two-week vacation to Thailand. Two different experiences. 1st time the room was okay but had a weird fake wood (vinyl) floor. Hotel staff very accommodating, and decent meals, all inclusive. Second time there, the room (on 8th floor) was a significant upgrade all around. Nice room, very good shower. Very nice for the price, per usual in Thailand. However, there were no towels in the room, minor inconvenience, easy fix. The significant difference was the staff. Not very accommodating which I found unusual. And the meal we had was almost inedible. We actually didn’t eat our dinner that was included in our Test & Go package. Speaking of which, due to a change in travel restrictions (mid trip) we had to get a “rapid” PCR test and arranged it with the hotel. We had exactly 11 1/2 hours in the hotel, pre-flight. We expected to receive an email w/results while we were sleeping, and wake up at 4am with our results to take to airport (stressful situation). I called the front desk at 3am to inquire about our results and was told they would call us back in one hour w/the results. That never happened, I had to call again at 4am (while our driver sat outside waiting for us) and was finally given our results and the offer of a printout to take to airport. Upon inspection of the printout from the hospital, the results were available within about 3 hours of our taking the test at 4:30pm. We could have received our results prior to going to sleep, less stress, etc. One last thing, I was told to call “0” if we needed anything. I had to call for the inclusive dinner to be delivered (they shunned us from being in the lobby) (totally different from our earlier stay) and when I called “0” for dinner, towels and test results, each time the phone rang, and rang, and rang…up to five minutes each time, before someone would answer the phone. Pretty annoying. I’d probably still stay there again hoping for better service and room on the 8th floor. And opt for room service from their in-house cafe/pizzeria. Convenient location, nice warm shower and comfortable bed.

Pros:Very clean at all times and very professional and helpful staff. The most convenient location for restaurants, nightlife and anything else you are looking for. Definitely staying here next time I'm in Bangkok for a few days.
Cons:Although restaurants are in abundance as soon as you step out of the hotel and almost all of them deliver, the hotel requires guests to come to reception to pick up their food. I understand it's a security measure for the safety and well-being of the guests, but maybe the hotel management can assign a couple dedicated staff to escort food delivery personnel to the guests rooms. Other than this minor issue, everything else was perfect!
