Pros (+) The room was clean and the pool area was surprisingly nice.
Cons (-) From check in, this place was a disappointment. The gentleman who checked me in was less than enthusiastic. However, he did have my paperwork ready to sign. After about an hour, we had a knock on our door. A scruffy 20 something man in a tshirt and shorts ask who I was. Apparently he also worked for the hotel. I told me that he had us checking out today. Pros (+) They serve a decent breakfast; gravy and biscuits every day, fresh cooked waffles, cereals,yogurt, boiled eggs, fruit, great coffee. And most of the staff was great.
Cons (-) One of the staff was a snot nosed brat that was not helpful at all. WiFi was hit or miss. If you can find the Sugar Loaf on Kayak it's a great deal.

Pros (+) There were two good things about this place. The guy working the front counter when we checked in on Feb 5 (2016) was very nice and helpful. The other thing is the biscuits and gravy in the continental breakfast were pretty good.

Tried calling the front desk to let them know, but the phone was inoperative. The carpets were filthy and stained. Cons (-) Room stunk like dog do do and wet hair from same. Light bulbs burned out. Told front desk without any action. Police took down armed persons right outside our door. Got sick from eating hard boiled eggs from the breakfast buffet. Used to be good but not anymore..
