Great location - wheelchair user
I booked for $78 on kayak which is a great price. We stayed in room 223 and had a full living room with pullout bed in the sofa, balcony overlooking the street, full kitchen with some plates and silverware available, bedroom with 2 twin beds. Bigger flat screen tv in the living room and small one in the bedroom. I am a manual wheelchair user and had no problem moving around in this room, including bathroom. I transferred into the bathtub which had a small bench built into the side. The controls were difficult to reach but it had the removable shower head. They may have shower chairs available, I didn't ask. It wasn't perfect for WC users but it was usable. Laundry room in the basement, which is free except for the soap which you can get at the front desk for €.50. Breakfast was 13.50€ which is standard price, some are far more. Had a good selection of hot and cold food available. The staff was great, very helpful and knowledgeable. 1 block from Naturkundmuseum train station, 10 minute train ride to checkpoint Charlie, Alexanderplatz and Brandenburg gate. I would definitely stay here again.
Room 223 is on the 2nd floor and the bedroom is facing the street. It quiets down at night but during the day it's a bit noisy if you have the windows open. Construction on the street during our stay. They were more than willing to switch is to a room in the back and showed us several different variations. I chose to stay in 223 because it worked best for me being in a wheelchair. Furniture and carpet in living room are outdated and need to be replaced. I'm not one of those snobby whining reviewers and I'm not buying the place or trying to impress anyone, so it worked for me.
Clean and comfortable room
rooms was very very noisy and it was not possible to sleep after 6 Am, otherwise everything else was almost reasonable.
Spacious and clean room, central location, kitchen facilities. This is more of an appt. residence (as the name suggests) though they have a reception. ALso liked the free sauna (small but decent)
Nice bathroom, but the toilet seat was sized for infants! Toilettensitz viel zu klein auch für Normalwüchsige!
Good location, clean, good breakfast
Noisy street, gym`s equipment
