Pros (+) If you need a place with parking and access to the city center, this is a convenient choice. It's hardly 10 minutes away from the old Town of Bern via a bus that stops right outside.
Cons (-) It doesn't really have much of a hostel feel, at least in the wintertime if you are also looking for a social component.
