Bar was never open, it was dirty and mould in the bathroom.
The Duty Manager was very supportive of my disabled friend.
No plug in the handbasin!
Me and 7 other friends stayed at this hotel for my 21st weekend, from the reviews from other people I was expecting the worst however I was very pleasantly surprised rooms have been decorated to a good standard bed comfortable, tidy, clean and you also get a Freeview tv with every room. For how much we paid each I would say it is very worthwhile looking at a cheap short stay here.
Some complaints I would make ( but remember rooms are very reasonably priced) are that as my friends arrived earlier and unsure what I booked they said the booking pin and referenced and shown to a room with bunk beds however I had specifically paid extra for the rooms without bunk beds once I had arrived this was all sorted out. Also the breakfast included is literally cereal, toast yogurts and tea served in the kitchen area which is very cold with the back door constantly left open. Other than that if you its very good for what you pay…
It was close to the location I was visiting - which is why I chose it.
I stayed at this hotel as a cheaper alternative to getting a cab home, in hindsight I would have rather paid for the cab home!!! Basic just about covers the standard.
The staff were extremely pleasant. It's in a great location.
The TV in the room didn't get much signal...though we didn't spend too much time in there. A few elements were in disrepair, but nothing enough to cause an issue.
Filthy, parking difficult and we did not stay second night it was so bad.
It was somewhere to sleep
Shower had no pressure whatsoever
Very unclean. Poor service, no tea/coffee making facilities
Every other things were disgusting, I paid too much for the crap I got
location to town centre
no privacy in room - curtains far too small to fit window. not as it looks in photos, no bar as described, refurbishment not complete
