Cons: The room is v airy with large mock Jacobean windows- sadly they aren't cleaned that often- and their size makes opening them a bit difficult !

Pros: Very friendly helpful owners, really clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was superb.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful period house with spacious rooms and friendly hosts!
Cons: Parking was free but was on another street nearby
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Superb breakfasts, lovely house with lots of character and great owner/managers who made us feel at home straightaway. Plenty of advice from the owners about what to see and do in the area too. Easily walkable to the main centre of town and with a nice local pub, one of the best in town for quality live music. Informal but attentive service from the owners and their staff, great!
Cons: We had the smallest bedroom in the house I believe - it wasn't huge but it had ensuite shower and WC and was perfectly adequate for a short stay.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely bedroom with huge comfortable bed. Room had a rocking chair. Large bathroom with a very deep bath. We had front 1st floor bedroom. Two other bedrooms are at rear of house with one having access to beautiful garden. Peter & his wife made us very welcome. They picked us up at station & took us there when we left. They gave us a fantastic breakfast & tried to give us something different each day. They even allowed us the use of their beachhut for which they normally charge. Property is about 10 minutes walk downhill to sea & town, bit longer going back as uphill. Lots of good restaurants & pubs nearby. There are 2 bus stops within few minutes walk which run a “loop” service to Margate & Ramsgate so easy to get around with no car.
Cons: Building is on main road which we found quite noisy with windows open. Windows are treble glazed so not so noisy when shut. We were given a large fan to help us sleep with shut windows.

Pros: I paid for breakfast as an extra, but it included all the continental options as well as a lovely cooked breakfast of just the right size. I liked my room because of the view. Also like the snugs and the availability of tea coffee throughout the day in the lounges. the enclosed herb garden was also lovely.

Cons: Everything was good
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff were friendly and helpfull.
Cons: The restaurant had a very limited menu and closed early every night. Sunday at 4.00pm. As a pub hotel it was of a reasonable standard, but very over-priced - £80 a night is quite ridiculous. The picture you present is of a country inn set back from the road. It is in fact, a town pub a few feet from the road.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The guy was lovely food was amazing and it was in a great location. Also bath was lush!
Cons: The bed was like concrete and it was slanted kept rolling off!

Pros: Superb room overlooking sea . Great bath tub
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Our room, lovely. Location, perfect. Staff very good, helpful and polite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcome from the recepist when we arrived was great very helpful. The bathroom was great.every one was very helpful. But the lady on the desk when we arrived and left went above and beyond to help us.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, very helpful. Fantastic view of the bay from the room windows. Veranda and garden also have amazing views and catch the sun for most of the day. And it's rather quaint, with slightly sloping floors in the rooms. Good hospitality tray. Restaurant has several zones and outside, each with different style and seating. Hotel does not have its own parking but does offer 24hrs for £6 at council local parking, which is around 50% discount.
Cons: Memory foam bed (painful if you've a bad back/hip etc). No lift (which won't matter if you don't mind stairs). Landings were a bit cluttered with stored bedding. Restaurant is a bit down-market now compared to its heyday - order at the bar from a pub style menu.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was first class with the town at the front & sea front at the back. The historic building was complemented by modern facilities. Our bathroom was excellent.
Cons: Maybe we were unlucky, but in more than one occasion we were not served promptly at breakfast & bacon was completely uncooked. It was very pricey for a three star hotel.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: View from my room
Cons: No lift
7.1 Good
Pros: Great location good food
Cons: Road Noise if your room is at front
6.3 Good
Pros: The view and facilities
Cons: ROOM 26 JOINS A RESTARAUNT WHICH HAS A VERY NOISY AIRCONDITIONING UNIT DRONING ALL NIGHT. WE WERE UNABLE TO SLEEP ALL NIGHT. STAFF DENIED KNOWLEDGE OF THIS ISSUE AND THEN THE MANAGER ADMITTED THEY WERE AWARE BUT COULD DO NOTHING. YET THEY STILL RENT THE ROOM OUT. WE HAVE USED THE HOTEL SEVERAL TIMEES BEFORE WITH NO ISSUES BUT THIS UNRESOLVED MATTER HAS CAUSED UPSET AND WAS A WASTE OF £160 HARD EARNED MONEY. IT SPOILT WHAT WAS MEANT TO BE A PEACEFUL BREAK WITH MY SON. IT HAS PUT US OFF BOOKING AGAIN. IT SEEMS PROFIT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN CUSTOMER CARE

Pros: The staff was wonderful and friendly and made us feel at home and was always there to help us at hand.
Cons: The continental breakfast did not allow us to have boiled eggs warm on the second morning of our stay as the chef refused our request. They had 'boiled eggs' on ice!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved this hotel. Great value for money, lovely staff and great location.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathroom
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good choice for a typical breakfast verging on continental style. Although you could have an English cooked breakfast for a price if you wished.
Cons: It was typical of an old Victorian building lots of stairs and passageways and the compulsory fire doors could be confusing for some older people.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location and the ambience. The verandah looking into the sea. Cleanliness.
Cons: I'm usually a person who doesn't complain much. But this time this stay broke all the resilience. I was on a short sneak out night with my wife and wanted to make it memorable for my girl. The shower was too cold. You got to wait for 30 min before the water turned warm. So also the stream wasn't adequate. The bed was of low temper though the looks of it was impressive. Finally the AC. Long story short, i had to get a table fan for keeping me comfortable. Sad to say, it was a terrible sleep. Breakfast was just OK. Nothing commentable. It would all have been pardonable, but for the exotic cost ****169 POUNDS**** i paid for 1 single day. In my opinion it was thrice as it's real worth. Not blaming anyone...I asked for it.
8.3 Excellent

6.3 Good

Pros: location good, room size for three was good.
Cons: Breakfast did not include a full selection, cleanliness was very poor on cups, glasses and cutlery!! This has to be rectified!!
5.4 Okay
Pros: The property was nice and clean
Cons: My room was on the 4th floor, and had a sloped ceiling, including the bathroom. This meant when I had a shower and I always bumped my head on the slopes ceiling
7.9 Good
Pros: Loved the location staff were lovely.
Cons: It was little things like when we moved the settee to watch telly it hadn't been cleaned underneath and we found the previous occupants debris. Wasn't over impressed by the continental breakfast

Pros: The staff were very welcoming and offered us an upgrade to an executive suite. The room was large and lots of storage for your clothes including plenty of hangers. The bed was very big and comfortable. We also had a sofa, TV, full sized fridge, fan, hairdryer, and iron. The view was beautiful overlooking the beach. There was a party on the floor below us, although you could hear it, the sound was not so bad that it impacted our stay.
Cons: The towels and bedding were in need of replacing, they were not dirty just old. There was no shelf by the sink in the bathroom so had to put items on the toilet cistern. The door only locks when you put the key in and turn, which we were not informed about. This led to us leaving the door unlocked initially.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Beds are comfortable and clean sheets.
Cons: Very dirty shower area.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The breakfast was ok.
Cons: My room was not ready when I arrived after 3pm! And the reception staff was not even bothered about it. The room was very dirty, dust everywhere. I couldn't see my self in the mirror because it was so dirty. The towel had stains on it. The room was very tiny. In the room there were 2 cockroaches !!! Unpleasant experience.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I stayed in a single room and it had everything that I needed from a budget room. Staff at check-in were very friendly and I'm sure if I'd needed anything it wouldn't have been a problem. The bed was comfy, and also had a few extras I didn't expect such as iron and ironing board, and a mini safe, in the room.
Cons: The hotel was generally quite dated but that didn't bother me. The shower was pretty weak and the shower door in need of repair really. The free WiFi was only guaranteed in communal areas and it didn't reach the room I was in. It's in the Cliftonville area, so a bit of a walk from the main train station, but there is a bus stop a few minutes down the road, as are lots of local shops/cafes etc.

7.5 Good
Cons: The website said that I could book the book with my credit card, as a guarantee and that a deposit would be taken that would be refundable. I made this reservation for a friend, who understand that they would pay for the room themselves. I discovered that my card was charged for the full amount even before my friend had arrived at the accommodation. I have never come across this before. I have booked numerous hotel rooms for staff at work and always the accommodation is paid for at the end of the stay. It was extremely embarrassing to have to ask my friend to refund me the money after they had stayed at your premises. Consequently, I will never book at room at your establishment again.
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed. Good breakfast.
Cons: Washing facilities.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: ABSOLUTELY NO PARKING. If you take a car don’t expect to park anywhere near the place. I ended up parking half a mile away and had to walk back. Tiniest sinking the world in my room which took 10 mins to drain the water away. Completely useless. Bed was a £50 metal frame kids bed. Not suitable to adults. Room was tired. Dirty and the whole place generally sad and needs work Walls are paper thin so was woken by next room at 6am talking. These are not rooms just areas mad into rooms by stud walls
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location.
Cons: No staff on site. A guy rang my mobile and I waited outside while he ran over to the front door. Very odd. Asked for a quit room, very noisy. Parking, if you're very lucky. Shower, carpets, headboard dirty. Very odd experience.

Pros: Breakfast was OK..
Cons: It was a Tired Poorly Converted House.. In Desperate Need of Cleaning & Redecorating ... Our Room 3 Had No Draw space Inadequate Hanging Area.. & Bathroom... With No Room Service
5.8 Okay

Cons: there was a smell by the bathroom (it smeled like cat pee)
8.8 Excellent

Cons: It is basic. Fine for a short stay.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: The location
Cons: The room was filthy lampshade covered in thick dust Been a leek above and ceiling all cracked and dusty No car park it was a free for all on the road noisy doors heard every one coming and going Was asked time of arrival via a phone call and no one there to meet us at the agreed time Tea and coffee not refilled in room
4.2 Okay
Cons: The place is a dump. All it needs is for the people who run it to have a little bit of respect for their guests, take a mop, a soap and clean the walls, fix the furniture, clean the windows. We were disgusted to stay here but had no choice. There's no parking either, you will struggle to find a spot.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The location is the only good thing.
Cons: Dirty room and ensuite. No WiFi despite it being advertised.
