Staff were welcoming and professional. I particularly appreciated being able to turn off the air conditioning, bed was very comfortable and the double-glazing very efficient (I was street side on the first floor and didn't hear any noise from outside). Bathroom was impeccably clean with a powerful shower. Very handy location for Gare du Midi, have already recommended the hotel to colleagues for future trips to Brussels!
The 'all or almost nothing' lighting - I would have liked to have been able to have the bedside lights on without the main light in the room, but the only option appeared to be everything on, or just a tiny reading lamp.
Short walk from the Eurostar station.
Area is very messy.
The bed and the bathroom
Noisy. Too many drunk and loud people outside, so I couldnt sleep with the window open. AC was not working properly. We took a late breakfast, because it was possible in the weekend as they told. We arrive at 10:15 and the complete buffet was empty. No cutlery, omelet was finished, bread was old, no atmosphere, because staff was cleaning already. I paid 21.50 per person for a breakfast what was really bad. Waste of money.
We were just staying in Brussels for a quick stopover - hotel conveniently located close to Brussels-Midi station. The room was fine, nothing special, and smelt a little bit stale. Breakfast was very good, and more than made up for it! Staff friendly and helpful.
the selection was very good
almost no vegan option
