Could not have asked for a better experience. First time travelling alone with both young kids, in the rain nonetheless. We arrived ahead of schedule and were greeted with welcoming staff that allowed us to check in then, an hour earlier than check-in. The room was clean, the beds super comfy, and the free 5 hole mini golf a perfect way to get out pent up energy for my kids. The breakfast was just enough for us to get our day started. Perfectly located just off the freeway and main road, but no road noise! Wonderful experience. Definitely going to recommend to all friends and family visiting the Santa Ynez Valley area, and will certainly stay again ourselves! Thank you, Pea Soup Anderson's Inn staff!
This is our second stay here. We wanted to get a good night's rest without paying Solvang high prices. This suited us fine. I was however, a little shocked to see a hidden $70 fee from view while searching for a room. While I was disappointed in this, it was still a few bucks less expensive than others in neighborhood. Breakfast coffee was good and hot, the dainish rolls are fresh daily. Take away plates etc are available for eating in your room or patio. Although there is a nice inclosed gazebo with seating also. Our room was clean, air conditioning worked well but to noisy to sleep and the tub/shower enclosure was new. I didn't like that the toilet was of the old school type with a round seat vs the upgrade of an elongated seat. Not sanitary for either men or women. All in all we will stay here again and recommend it as well.
cost effective. easy access to solvang. fixtures are a bit dated but overall clean and would consider staying again.

Pros:Clean. Rooms appeared to be newly renovated. Good service. Very easy to check in and out. Requested a pack n play for toddler at check in and it was waiting art the room by the time we got there. Several amenities within walking distance.
Cons:Outside is dated. It's a motel, so rooms go right to outside. Not a problem though. Was still quiet and can't beat the price for the area.
