Pros: We had a very enjoyable stay. The staff are very friendly with a great sense of humor. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and we liked that they serve until 10am so we didn't feel we had to eat and check out in a rush.
Cons: While the bed was quite comfortable, the pillows were not. For a one night stay it's fine, but we'd have had stiff necks if we'd needed to use them for more than a couple of nights.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The entire room.
Cons: Nothing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the large, clean room. The complete kitchen was great and we would have taken advantage of it had we stayed longer. Something to definitely keep in mind. Friendly and helpful staff. Laundry open 24 hours, clean and everything working great. Took advantage of that.
Cons: I think for a longer stay we might have enjoyed a pool and/or hot tub. But the gym was nice so definitely not a deal breaker.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean & quiet. Nice room & good water pressure in the shower. Great towels & a very nice kitchen.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was nice and clean and bed and pillows were comfortable.
4.5 Okay
Pros: The bed was very nice. Bathroom was clean and nice.
Cons: The night clerk had no idea what she was doing. I am still fighting with the hotel about the two charges on my card. One for $169.74 and one for $189.74.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The area, cleanliness, and simple check in. The gal that welcomed us was very personable and friendly. We were there for only one night so didn't have time to use the amenities but they seemed accessible and nice.
Cons: Two issues I was not happy about, the air/heat unit was locked and connected to a wall thermostat which was not adjustable so the fan was on full blast hitting the head of the bed which was like sleeping in a wind tunnel. No one was there for check out.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was spacious and attractive and so lovely and quiet The kitchen was beautifully set out and the bed was very comfortable. I had a dog with me and they put me in an excellent room on the first floor right beside an outside door so I could let the dog out quickly and easily. It was easy to bring my dog's kennel into the room and set it up without too much back- breaking work. Behind the hotel was a spacious small field where I could run my dog in the morning. Because it was Sunday I could also walk on to the spacious parking areas at the back far from the roads and major highway. I have a border collie so it is imperative that I run her in the morning. It was a very good location and a great experience all around.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Full kitchen in the room
Cons: No
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Liked the flexibility with check-in where the front desk was there 24hr so we could arrive late that night and not worry about losing our reservation. Also, the staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs; very clean and had everything we needed in the little kitchenette. They have a snack and toiletries area near the lobby where you can purchase anything you forgot in a pinch which is a nice feature! Overall, nice place for what we paid compared to the others around. It is a pet friendly property but I notified in advance at my reservation I was traveling with my Service Dog and at check-in the gal knew the protocol so I was definitely pleased of this!
Cons: Would have liked to not be adjacent the ice maker room because the blower from the machine was up against the wall of our room and it would reset every 10 or so minutes but other than that, no complaints!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: love the kitchenette. it was stocked well and there was even things that were available to rent for free. the shampoo and conditioner set was one of the best I've ever seen in a hotel.
Cons: I was sad the breakfast options were so minimal and also that there wasnt a hot tub or sauna.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff.
7.0 Good
Pros: Nothing to remark
Cons: The hotel is located off a busy road, which, when facing oncoming traffic, can make it a challenge to turn into.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, great location, and great continental breakfast.
Cons: The shower curtain was a bit longer than normal and there was left over hair (about 4-6 pieces) on the curtain and tub floor under the curtain from the previous guest. When checking out I mentioned this to the lady at the counter and she didn’t seem very interested.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was fantastic. They went above and beyond without me even asking. Very accommodating for children. I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and the customer service here made it one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly, breakfast great and breakfast attendant very friendly and efficient.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was very clean and staff was great!
Cons: No
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast awesome , bed awesome . Just thought expensive
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable 2 queen bedded room. I like that free breakfast was included. A variety of options were offered. Good value. I would definitely stay here again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Loved my jacuzzi suite.
Cons: Casino was lacking.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the king bed and ability to watch Netflix, Hulu, and HBO free with our stay! Usually we have to bring our iPad to watch stuff. The continental breakfast was phenomenal! Definitely booking again!
Cons: Only complaint I have is there was no fan in the bathroom. But the vent seemed to get the smell out. Not something that would prevent me from booking again.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Carpeting looked new, everything was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The property in general was in great shape and clean.
Cons: Had to get to this part. We are used to sleeping in a fairly quiet neighborhood, so with the freeway very close and the trucks quite loud, along with trains every few hours all night, the noise level was high. This is a location problem and nothing against the staff.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: The location of the hotel is horrible. The nearby train going by quite often was disruptive to our sleep.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location was good and aside from the bathroom the room was nice.
Cons: The set screws were missing from the curved shower curtain rod which caused it to sag in the middle. Needless to say I had to fight the shower curtain the entire time I was in the shower because it slid to the middle of the rod. The bathtub drained so slowly that by the time I finished my shower the water was well above my ankles (GROSS). Upon arriving to my room, I noticed there were 2 rolls of toilet paper each less than 1/4 full. I took my do not disturb sign off the door the following morning but never received maid service. I had to take my own trash down and buy my own toilet paper. Definitely no insulation in the walls. I could hear everything in the hallway... including the people who checked in after 11pm and decided to throw a party in the hallway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location

Pros: Clean, comfortable, quiet considering it is right off the freeway. Great location for a shopping trip. Restaurants super close. Easy access to La Conner, Anacortes and San Juans. Simple continental breakfast but enough to get by.
7.5 Good
Pros: fine, as advertised
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, great value for money. It was so helpful to have a fridge and microwave in the room. Very close to many different stores, for anything you may need (eg- Walmart across the street, Costco a mile away, etc).
Cons: Beds were on the soft side for us. It was a bit further from North Cascades National Park than I realized (about an hour and a half drive), but that’s my own fault for not researching properly.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Room was neat and clean
5.5 Okay
Pros: Good location, across from walmart if you need extra supplies. Plenty of food options in the area.
Cons: The hotel has a small plague at the check in desk that tells travelers they MUST pay a $150 CASH cleaning fee before checking in. This fee was NOT on the booking.com listing as part of the various fees. Not only this, but the manager apparently has a rule that the check in office is closed from 11pm-7am and you can only ring for her in emergency situations. (She lives on site). This made for a horrible experience. My family checked into the hotel in the afternoon and we were getting all this information from the receptionist. After she told us the lobby wouldn't be open til 7am, we explained how that would be a huge problem as we were planning on leaving he hotel around 515am so we could arrive early to a hiking trail in the north cascades. The receptionist for her part was friendly enough and said she would leave a note for the manager about our checkout time and as long as we rang the bell, she would probably be awake waiting for us so help expedite our checkout. Fast forward to the following morning and we ring the bell only to be confronted by the fact that we woke the manager up from sleeping and the receptionist never left a note explaining the situation. At first the manager tried to reiterate the lobby wasn't open til 7am but we explained we weren't gonna sit around and wait almost 2 hours so reluctantly she got up to help us check out. But the worst part of the experience was after I tried to diffuse the situation by apologizing for the miscommunication between everyone, the manager flat out told us that if the receptionist had sent her a text explaining we wanted to check out at 515am, she would of 100% denied our request... We did not feel valued as paying customers whatsoever. And on a side note, the beds were not comfy at all. I can't recommend staying here. I chose this spot because it was one of the cheapest places in Mount Vernon but it's worth spending a little more and going somewhere else where the staff is more accommodating.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was very cozy
Cons: Bathroom could have been a little cleaner and the shower drained slowly. The water pressure in the shower was awesome!
6.8 Good
Pros: I enjoyed the free breakfast. There was a good variety and I loved the fresh fruit. The coffee was very tasty.
Cons: The beds are too stiff and the room had a musty smell to it. The bathroom had some water damage that wasn't appealing and the floor had old water and bugs on it.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Convenience to highway
Cons: UnCleanliness of bathroom.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Convenient location.
Cons: It is old and worn. For the price we paid, I feel it should have been nicer. No noise insulation, so not very quiet. Won't stay there again.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The bed/pillows were comfortable and the room is pretty quiet which allowed us to sleep comfortably.
Cons: The room smelled musty and the shower curtain had significant amount of mildew.
6.0 Good
Pros: Price and location kitchenette
6.3 Good
Pros: The location
Cons: The lack of cleanliness

5.0 Okay
Pros: It was easy access to and from the interstate. The woman at the front desk was very friendly, kind and accommodating. The price was great, but the accommodations fit the cheapness.
Cons: The mattress was the hardest I have ever slept on in my life. The springs seemed to jab both my husband and I in the back. There were people partying outside of the hotel when we checked-in, and the room itself stunk of dampness.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Couldn't eat it. No protein.
Cons: The room smelled of smoke. Couldn't figure out why.
6.0 Good
Pros: good location. just off the freeway. Many restaurants around and costco is close by.
Cons: Needs upgrade, it is showing it's age.

Cons: The entire Hotel wreaked of cigarette smoke. It was disgusting. even my sheets smelled like smoke. the hotel was dirty and old. We had to carry our luggage up the stairs because the elevator wouldn't work.

Pros: Location was easy t find, parking good, staff was courteous, friendly, room was clean, check out was easy. Did not use the breakfast option but I did see people eating and it appeared they were enjoying the meal.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Extremely quiet, close to the grocery
Cons: I checked in on a Saturday and my room wasn't cleaned until Tues, I had to go to the desk twice to find out why. Maids stand around and talk and text and don't understand vyou when you ask a question
4.5 Okay
Pros: There was a pool
Cons: We are used to staying in basic 2 star hotels and don't expect a whole lot, but this was pretty substandard. The pool was cold, the sheets were left dirty from the previous person, you could see hair throughout the pillows, the cable was grainy, the non-smoking room smelled of smoke, the breakfast buffet fruit option was only a small pile of apples many of which were bruised, the juice options were out of juice and ran water, They had bread for toast but not butter. Most people would have probably walked out, we are used to camping, so it was livable but not cleanly or what you might expect in a hotel.

Pros: Good location very pleasant staff
Cons: The carpets in the hallway were dirty and worn
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Not much. Location was good. Other than that, the place needs a serious overhaul!
Cons: The Hotel was FILTHY!!! The Toilet in my room ( #146) was not secured to the bathroom floor. There was no drain stopper in the sink. There was dirt on the walls. The thermostat on the air conditioner was broken. The whole place had a musty smell with a hint of bleach. This room shouldn't cost any more than $60.00/Night in it's current condition. I'm guessing the same could be said for the rest of this place!!!
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Bed was horrible. Old spring mattress Pool cold. Breakfast only protein was peanut butter. All carbs waffles toast bagels high sugar cereal. What about hard boiled eggs fruits cheese yogurt- why was ther not any? Room had stuff on floor when we got there still there when we left. Do they vacuum? Will not stay there again
