The room is just perfect, very clean, stylish, has everything we need and a jacuzzi and fireplace were nice bonuses. All of the staff were very nice too. Loved the spa.
Cons: I though that pool will be a bit bigger and unfortunately it was huge construction going on right next to it. So you can't e actually relax with all that noise and people around. Cons: heating devise control should be fixed: we set it to 68 and it jumps to 73 automatically
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Villa Mimosa is such a lovely property. Very close to downtown Calistoga. Our room was super clean. Our bed felt so comfy and super soft sheets. It’s very quiet there and peaceful. Every morning, there was a beautiful breakfast with mimosas! The staff is so gracious. Polly, the owner was very welcoming when we arrived. There’s also some nice seating areas outside, 2 water fountains, even a rooftop area to watch the sunset.
Cons: Nothing!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a very pretty, small B&B with plenty of outdoor space overlooking peaceful fields. The gardens are lovely and the ambience is very relaxing - just perfect after four days in San Francisco. Room - bed very comfortable, shower good and nice little area to sit outside privately. Breakfast was excellent. It’s a short drive to Calistoga from the Villa, a very authentic Napa Valley town with several good places to eat. The owners of the Villa are just great and very friendly — we enjoyed talking with them and learning about the area.
Cons: I loved Villa Mimosa - it was a delight to spend time there. I can fully recommend.
5.8 Okay
Pros: great location. Staff was courteous.
Cons: cleanlines, design of the rooms, sound insulation
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Extremely comfortable stay. Room was adequately sized and the bed was huge and super comfortable. Staff were al friendly and welcoming from the moment I arrived to breakfast and when I left.
Cons: Slightly earlier breakfast, maybe from 08:00/08:30 not 09:00. Also, I don’t usually eat hot breakfast such as bacon so felt bad when it was made for me.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely setting just a short drive north of Calistoga's main drag. Lovely outdoor areas, including private patio off the bathroom. Clean, tasteful, and comfortable, with a very good bed and nice touches such as robes, high-end linens, DVDs/player, fridge in room, and microwave available on patio. Breakfast is ample and tasty. Hosts were very nice, responsive to our needs, and very promptly and cheerfully lent us a phone charging cable.
Cons: The indoor space was not good for hanging out. We stayed in Room 2, which is quite small and felt dark and airless since the one small window looked out on the patio--we kept blinds down for privacy (the other window was on the door from the bathroom to the patio, which also didn't really allow for much light into the main room). Only one chair for sitting, and bedside lamps are not good for reading. Breakfast is served on the outdoor patio, so vulnerable to temperature (and weather) extremes. Has more of a corporate feel than more charming B&Bs. Still, we're glad we stayed, and considering it's Napa Valley, it was more reasonably priced than a lot of places.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: This is a little slice of Tuscany in Calistoga. The place is incredibly relaxing with comfortable beds with luxury linens to wonderful outdoor spaces. The staff, especially Maria, were warm and welcoming. The breakfasts were delicious and it was a nice touch to start the day with a Mimosa.
Cons: There were no issues at all.

The front porch is perfect for lazy mornings and evenings and downtown calistoga is an easy walk for dinner, shopping or ice cream. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Best place we have stayed thus far on our six week tour of the Western US! Staff was exceptional!! Will definitely recommend to any friends headed to Napa Valley!!!
Cons: Loved everything!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All was perfect ...a truly wonderful place that we will come back to! Thank you for all the luxury and comfort!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room and bathroom are really nicely decorated. Bed super comfy. All sparkling clean and new we loved the Illy coffee machine in the room. There are bikes onsite that we could borrow and it was lovely to go around the area by bike, instead of taking the car
Cons: The room was really nice, but $360 a night is quite a lot of money for just a room, as there are no other facilities onsite. This is not a "boutique" hotel, but rather a bed&breakfast style of accommodation We were also dissapointed that there is no access to hot springs or mineral pools in the town of Calistoga. These are all privatized by the other hotels and access is not possible unless you book a massage or other spa treatment onsite.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The attention to detail and the friendliness of the staff were the best.
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, hospitality, like to be at home!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Eden goes out of her way to make you feel at home during your stay. She goes above and beyond to help with recommendations and reservations for places in Calistoga, and she's knowledgable about the surrounding area. The outdoor area here is really lovely. Perfect for meals and happy hour when the sun is going down.
Cons: We are big breakfast eaters and could have gone for something a little more substantial to start our daily adventures. That being said, the croissants were delicious!
6.8 Good
Pros: The staff was good, but the room was tiny for the amount paid. Just an overnight stay, but more than $430!
Cons: Tiny room, no closet, super expensive - $399/night plus taxes

9.3 Excellent
Pros: Not too crowded during a midweek summer visit. Plenty of pool chairs. Booked spa on arrival. Pools were awesome, with a range of temperatures to choose from. Not heavily chlorinated either. Mud bath was super relaxing. I was the only one there at the time, but the baths facilities are not private. Several BBQ grills, for those that prefer to grill. The kitchen is tiny, and barely furnished. So don't expect to do any real cooking. Or bring your own kitchen supplies. Location is convenient, and you can walk everywhere. On site gym has good equipment if you plan to work out. Great for a short family get away. Bonus - on site Tesla charger.
Cons: While we didn't have a problem charging our car - there is only one spot reserved for EVs, and what looks like 2 chargers. If there are 2 chargers, there should be two spots reserved for EVs. The second charger spot was always taken by a conventional car since it wasn't labeled as EV.

Pros: The pools
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed our stay. Loved the pools!
6.8 Good
Pros: amenities
Cons: the staff wasn't too friendly
9.5 Excellent
Pros: The room is very tidy and comfortable. All the necessities are filled
Cons: The pillows need to be fluffier. We ended up asking for more since they are flat
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, well-appointed room. The kitchen was well supplied with basics.
Cons: Only one knife in the kitchen, which was large and dull. A small paring knife would be a really good addition.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, clean rooms with the kitchenette.
Cons: A fridge in my room was a bit noisy
7.0 Good
Pros: The pools are definitely great. The rooms had been updated so they felt modern, the bed is very nice. I liked that there was a mini-fridge, microwave, and stove available. It was a good place to bring kids.
Cons: The snack bar at the pool was was cash only, not many snacks besides popsicles, chips, candy, & soda. You couldn't bill it to your room. The front desk was a little rude at checkout, plus $5 per person for pool access the day of checkout.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We did not eat any meals at this location, but many food venues are a short walk away. The greatest appeal of this hotel is its central location in downtown Calistoga. The mineral pools were nice; although they were very busy.
Cons: The largest mineral pool had some sort of mishap and was closed until chemical levels were safe again and it was not well marked. After diving in to swim a few laps, a pool attendant came and notified us that the pool was closed due to something in the water.

Pros: The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful. So nice and accommodating.
Cons: Didn't care for the pool/ spa area. It was sterile and small
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and clean rooms. The pool area was great.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was a nice size. It had been newly refreshed so was modern in style with a decent bathroom. Being new with hardwood floors, it felt clean, my main criteria in a hotel stay. We enjoyed the deck off the room with Adirondack chairs and used both evenings with wine and morning sun with coffee. The landscaping at the entrance was pretty with blooming flowers and vines but the rest of the property seems to be still in process.
Cons: There was road noise, surprising since it seemed like a country road. In the heat, we had to run the AC so it helped subdue the noise. There was only one arm chair in the room although there was plenty of space for a second. Otherwise, there was a plastic, molded desk chair. I didn’t use pool but BF did. It’s dated but supposed to be redone soon.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location to my business meeting.
Cons: The office was locked in morning so I couldn't get the free coffee before mtg.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Jacuzzi ( hot water ) could release my long travel fatigue . And complementary Coffee service ( Starbucks ) could give us the energy in check out morning time . The room is cozy and comfortable , not delux .
Cons: Price shall be more reasonable .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Our room was very clean, it was a quiet area and the front desk staff was warm and accommodating. We didn't get to use some of the other facilities but seemed pretty well maintained. Over all we had a pleasant stay
Cons: The stairs leading to our room needs some updating.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff and great location
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was lovely - serene, immaculate and pretty. The mineral water pool/spa area was very clean and relaxing. At check in you get a complete rundown on local restaurants that was helpful. The lobby coffee was very good.
Cons: There's no breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very cute remodeled hotel. Rooms look good. Easy walking distance to the main part of downtown Calistoga. Nice sauna and stem room. Lovely gardens.
Cons: Pool is small.

Pros: Beautiful landscaping & multiple comfortable seating outdoor areas. Nice grilling area. Amazingly friendly & helpful staff.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice facility, the spa on the premises is also wonderful. You can leave the car in the parking lot and have a relaxing experience, either in the pool, walking through the town, read, have a chat or just chill in the garden.
Cons: The bed was a little too hard for me.
7.5 Good
Pros: The grounds have mature vegetation, which makes it comfortable and homey.
6.3 Good
Pros: Great location to walk everywhere
Cons: I had my son and nephew. Kids are frowned upon here. They must be quiet. Was told to be quiet in front of our room while chatting on the deck with my mother.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful and helpful staff. Great spa treatments.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Very disappointed not what I expected
Cons: Customer service
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The spa was nice. The spa service was excellent. Massage therapist didn’t talk unless she had to ask a question or give direction, which I like. There to relax not for conversation.
Cons: The fact that we can back to the room from the pool to find a beetle bug in the bath tub. Since I do not do bugs, my roommate had to get a paper cup and when it crawled inside put a paper plate over it and ushered it back outside.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Roman Spa is peaceful, with beautiful grounds. We enjoyed the outdoor couches by the pool, a perfect place to relax and read. We brought our bikes and the staff was very kind to keep them in the garage. We appreciated the convenience.

5.5 Okay
Cons: Way too many bugs. Staff was average. Way way overpriced
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The staff was extraordinary in terms of personality, knowledge, working with the guest....
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Clean and modern. Staff tried very hard to be friendly.
Cons: Totally overpriced. My breakfast there was not good. They got the order all wrong. Also had some really bad shrimp for lunch one day.
7.0 Good
Pros: It was clean and beautifully maintained. The grounds were stunning. The spa service was great!
Cons: Customer service was not up to par. We asked the staff for three things while staying. A second bike, as we only had one and they stated it would be on it way. Never received. Our AC went out, it took two hours and 3 phone calls to get them to our room. We called room service for orange juice one morning, 30 minutes later it wasn’t delivered so I called and canceled. Just no sense of urgency with this hotel which makes the experience differ in a negative way compared with other properties similar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great. Loved the wine event happening on site while we were there!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really appreciate the attention to providing service and ensuring a very enjoyable stay.
7.5 Good
Pros: Comfy bed
Cons: Very crowded
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Gardens, grounds, loved, loved mineral pools, friendly atmosphere, wine reception made my marriage celebration amazing ❤️, chocolate in bed, concierge day trip arrangements were great
Cons: Wished Mattress had a foam topper and mineral pools were open until 10pm.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Really loved the kind and quick to respond staff. Everything is super clean and nice. Free Nespresso, water, nice bathroom.
Cons: Our fridge was broke and got another one that never really got cold. No biggie as it was adequate for the kid's yogurt. Beverages provided for free but were not cold and satisfying. Room AC was broke but they worked diligently to fix and did offer another room for us. Relocating was a hassle with children so we spent the day at the pool. Speaking of pool, the nice big beautiful pool is for adults only. This is a great place for those who have yet to reproduce or have them out of the nest already. Although there is a small pool and hot tub at the back area which kids like well enough. For families, Indian Springs is what you want (unfortunately, they were full on this trip).
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff was excellent. Facilities fine.
Cons: The maintenance of the room was poor: A/C went out and had to call staff. Door jammed and they had to come and tighten the hinges, the return air vent just fell open and a screw dropped out in the middle of us watching TV. The TV system does not work and few channels, not even HBO.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: didnt go for breakfast - plenty of options to try up the road in Calistoga village or 10 k away in Yountville
Cons: all pretty perfect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The food, pool and service. I do have to say however, there could have been better service in the loop area. There were times we couldn’t find towels or we had to walk in the restaurant to order food or drinks.
Cons: The bike chains were all rusted and about to crack.

Pros: The homemade breakfast every day was a treat to look forward to. I loved having a different meal each day we were there. French press coffee on the table was another wonderful surprise. I appreciated the complimentary wine in the afternoon and also free, cold, water bottles to help ourselves to as we headed out for the day. Off street parking behind the property was nice
Cons: This was not a problem for me, but the inside stairs up to the second level are steep. If you have a problem with stairs, choose a first floor room.

Overview Reviews
When you stay at Calistoga Inn Restaurant and Brewery in Calistoga, you'll be on a river, just steps from Palmer House and 5 minutes by foot from Calistoga Hot Springs. The front desk is staffed during limited hours.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: There is a peculiar smell like stale beer or feet. There are shared bathroom (toilet and shower) areas; there is a sink in each room (but not your own toilet or shower so bring flip flops- it's like being in a college dorm). There are no televisions in the rooms. This is bare bones and our group did not enjoy their evening nor did anyone sleep well. There is also no air conditioning.
