Location was fine, with a great ocean view. Plenty of choices and good food. The options for dinner meals were excellent, including being able to eat at the connected, sister hotel's restaurant next door. The staff was always excellent: helpful and friendly.
In contrast to dinner times, when there were multiple choices, this large cafeteria-style breakfast area was the only choice. Most of all, our disappointment was that the volume of noise and music was always extreme. If you were on the back (lagoon) side of the building, it was quiet but the view was poor. We switched to the ocean side (at a large price upgrade) and, while the view was great, there was over-amplified music and activity microphones going from early until late, every day, meaning that any time spend in your room was filled with that noise. Being in or around the pool meant listening to very loud music or voices at all times. Nightly music in the lobby/lounge area was also extremely loud. And the live shows volume was so extreme that we couldn't stand to be in the theater. So, this is not the place for enjoying relaxing vacation if noise is a concern. Some hotels are in a hotels-only zone (no shops nearby). This was one, which can be a nice feature. But if you want to shop, choose a hotel in another part of Cancun.
It was our second time visiting this property with three teenagers and we had a blast. The entire staff is great.
Had a wonderful time. Nice views, staff n activities.
No sound barrier at the doors.. u can hear everything going on the hall..
Great Location and the staff are super friendly. Food was good and plenty all day! Pool size and access to white sand beach is awesome.
Alcohol drinks were not good! Whiskey or Scotch or Tequila were low quality and the better ones, you had to pay out of pocket. Pool closes early at 8PM & I think it should stay open at least until 10PM
