Pros: I thought the staff was extraordinarily friendly. The hotel's design was chic and African. Very good value. Located in a leafy suburb and a save part of town.
Cons: All in all it was very good value for money. They charged 2.5 % credit card fee which wasn't mentioned anywhere before. It felt more like a city trip than a beach holiday (I would have preferred Camps Bay or Clifton for this n- only a 10 min drive away), but that's personal preference. The pool was rather small. the breakfast wasn't great, the croissants were rather dry and the choice limited.

Pros: The Parker Cottages is a very nice guesthouse. Phil and Liz (the owners) are very friendly and give you great infomation about what to do and where to eat. The guesthouse has a lot of "Charme" and the breakfast was excellent. The rooms are decorated nicely and are very clean. The location is great and safe. We enjoyed our stay and for a next travel to Cape Town we would stay at Parker Cottages again!

Pros: The Parker Cottages is a very nice guesthouse. Phil and Liz (the owners) are very friendly and give you great infomation about what to do and where to eat.
