Very good hotel would definitely recommend a stay there

The junior suite represented excellent value for money. Having a terrace was a real bonus and it was surprisingly spacious. The room itself was also very generously proportioned and we were impressed with all of the facilities that were available. The hotel staff were charming and extremely helpful. We were concerned that the underground parking might be a little tight for our car and we were advised that we could park at the sister hotel just across the street instead, which we really appreciated.

This is no reflection on the hotel itself but an observation that may be helpful to anyone planning to stay here on a Monday evening; many of the restaurants in the city are closed on Mondays. However, the restaurant at the sister hotel (Jaime I) is open from 8pm and is very good.

Excellent room, cleanliness, good air conditioning.

Breakfast could be better; coffee machine didn't work one morning; basic bread available. Room service could be improved for dinner; small and basic 'Ensalada de la Huerta con huevo' delivered only with lettuce and tomato in a small dish.

Friendly staff & comfort bed.

We didn't have breakfast in the hotel but had a superb breakfast in a bakery/cafe near by Facilities, cleanliness & reception staff all excellent. Good king size bed with quality linens & roomy bathroom with excellent hairdryer

As British we love a morning cup of tea & missed having tea & coffee making facilities! As we get older we feel less safe with over the bath showers
