1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. I live locally and reserved a room online due to having home renovations. They preauthorized my card and when I went to check in, they asked for my drivers licenses. The person working the front desk then says oh we don’t rent to locals, I’ll have to cancel your reservation. I asked her why. She said it was a hotel policy and named off several counties that they don’t let residents book from. I told her this policy wasn’t listed anywhere and I booked with my address so why didn’t someone contact me before check in? She couldn’t care any less and was pretty much like “oh well”. I asked to speak to a manager so that I could explain the situation, as I had my 2 small kids with me and no where to go. The front desk clerk calls the manager and the manager seems annoyed that she has to even talk to me, continues to cut me off and says it’s our policy, there’s nothing I can do. I ask to speak to someone who could possibly override the decision. She said send an email. It’s 5:30 at this point and I knew no one would be checking their email at that time. She said the best I can do is have you leave your name and number to make a complaint. Both the front desk clerk and manager were rude and had absolutely no customer service. Someone should have called me prior to check in but both employees were completely unbothered by the situation that put me in with my 2 kids. I will make sure every knows not to waste their time with this hotel.

4.0 Okay
Pros: Conveniently located near and around local attractions, like Mammoth Cave.
Cons: We were put in a room (106) that had a distinct mildew smell. Additionally, the shower floor was level with the rest of the bathroom floor, so the bathroom got flooded every time we took a shower and leaked out under the door to the carpet in the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very close to Mammoth Caves (our purpose for being in that area). The room was much nicer than I was expecting based on the outside of the hotel. The parking lot was nice and seemed to be freshly redone
Cons: The exterior of the building looked like it could use a little TLC
4.0 Okay

Pros: Pool
Cons: Bath tub flooded the floor, tv very static, front door hard to unlock, and the round flat eggs for breakfast were terrible!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Convenient off the highway.
Cons: The bathroom was tight with the sink in the main room. The bed was not properly made with more of the comforter hanging on one side and the sheet showing on the other side. Also the eggs and sausage did not taste fresh as the other Wyndham motels we stayed at.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good location easy to reach from the freeway. Reasonably priced. Good breakfast.
Cons: The handicapped room had good grab bars, but we had to step over the edge of the bathtub to take our showers. The floor of the tub was slippery, but fortunately we did not fall.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: The entire facility was very clean and modern. We would stay again, but we did not have the best experience.
Cons: I booked a King size room for one night and we ended up getting a double room. I figured it was a simple mistake so we didn’t complain about it. I figured I would still get charged for what I booked. They charged us extra since they had double room on their system. I tried to get a refund for the difference and they declined it. Will not stay at a Super 8 again.
