Pros:

The staff called and left a message to inform me the day of pick up that there were no vehicles to rent. I called back and they informed me that Avis did not drop off any cars for them. I appreciated the call but was not impressed with Avis at all.

Cons:

Avis could of done better and will not attempt to rent from them again

this was my second time at this Roswell location that they did not have my rental vehicle avaliable; had to go to another location15 miles away for pickup; the 2nd location was very good and helpful.......but very inconvenient and a drag on our day of travel to have to take an extra 1.5 hours and another location to get our rental

I had scheduled a pick up for 10:00 a.m. unfortunately there was no cars available for me wait until noon and then when I went to go check out the gentleman at the counters would not try to help me with the $84 difference. Unfortunately my credit card company would not extend a higher approval rate so I left the store and I went to Enterprise and we was right in and ride out in about 20 minutes. I've been doing business with y'all for years and my experience with that hurts in general it was very very poor and I do not think I will use that service again.

I never was able to rent a car because I was not informed, and therefor not prepared, for a $300 hold on my credit card in addition to my rental. Had I been aware of this hold prior to travel, I could have made preparations. However, I was out of state, and caught off guard, and had to pivot my travel plans immensely in order to get home. I also feel as though I should get my insurance money back, $26, for the lack of rental.
