8.8 Very good
Pros:I liked the roominess of the vehicle. The ability to connect my Android device to the HUD via bluetooth or USB was very helpful.
Cons:I don't love the RAV4's Ecoboost(?) feature. It felt like the car stalled at every stoplight, and the gas pedal wasn't very responsive then would jump after pressing hard.
Cons:The poetry garage drop of could be better signed. Should tell you to grab a ticket and you won't be charged. It was too confusing.
Pros:Very nice efficient staff on both ends.
Pros:Rented car through kayak and had a check box for insurance. But turned out that the insurance was not through the car rental co. Not some 3rd party
Cons:I will be careful now and add the Insurace At the company site. Don’t fall for this.
Pros:Great staff. Excellent facility.
Cons:Provide guidance for forming line at service counter: signs, ropes, floor marking, etc.
Pros:The staff was very helpful and friendly at pick up and return. The car was very clean and, because the staff had recommended a slightly larger car due to the bad weather, safe.
Cons:I have nothing negative to say.

Pros:Transaction was quick and painless.
8.0 Very good
Cons:Great gas mileage, but Kia Rio handles poorly in windy weather. Aerodynamics need improvement!
Pros:The pickup was not at the Appleton Airport. I landed and went straight the Hertz counter and was told that I rented from Hertz half a mile down the road. They told me they could not change the rental and that I'd need to get an Uber to take me to the other Hertz location. I could however return the rental to the airport location. I won't rent from Hertz again and I will tell everyone I know about this experience.
Cons:They could have switched the rental or at the very least given me a ride to the other location. I had to pay my Uber driver $10 for the inconvenience that Hertz caused me.
Cons:Have car available at airport, transfer record of reservation
Pros:I went to the wrong Hertz counter. I went to the one at the airport but I really had rented it from a counter about a 20 minute walk away. The woman behind the counter went way out of her way to ensure that I got to the right place comfortably. She was incredible.
Cons:I rented the car on Saturday to be brought back on Sunday. The woman at that counter did not tell me that the office would be closed on Sunday. I did not know how to return the car and did not feel confident that I did the right thing and was worried about being charged extra.
Pros:quick and easy!

Pros:Smooth pick up and drop off. Car was ready and no line (at a small airport)
Cons:Faint smell of smoke
Cons:the car was buried in a snow bank and no one helped me, had to go back in and request another car

Pros:A young woman (Kali, I think) stayed late until my delayed flight landed and I was able to complete the rental. Wonderful customer service.
Pros:The staff in Appleton were very helpful and friendly. I ended up there very late due to flight cancelationsa and they waited up for me.
Cons:When I signed up for a car rental, I was led to Appleton even though I wanted to rent at Greenbay airport. Fortunately, I ended up flying into Appleton because of cancelation of Detroit to Greenbay flight. Unfortunately, ALamo wouldn't let me drop the car off at GreenBay for my return flight. for some ridiculous reason, I had to drive the car 25 miles south to Appleton and turn around and drive back to GreenBay with the same car. Otherwise the cost of my car would have gone up by 300%. this is the kind of coporate lack of common sense that makes it very inconvenient for customers. I didn't appreciate having to add 50 miles and one hour to my drive to the airport.
Pros:Staff was very nice and the drop off / pick up process was fast. Quality of rental was fantastic.

Pros:Usually brand loyal to Enterprise, but this Avis experience has me rethinking that. Great customer service!
Pros:Yes, dry nice
Cons:Checking out the car with me when I picked it up
8.0 Very good
Pros:The staff was very friendly and I loved that they did the inspection with you. They were also very accommodating with the mix up in the price given.
Cons:My confirmation said I would be paying $18.70 including estimated taxes and fees. I called ahead to ask some questions and was informed the rental showed as $38. The staff was able to accommodate my booked rate. Not sure why there was a price discrepancy.
Pros:The car very nice ride
Cons:It was not clear when I made the reservation on Kayak that I would be charged extra for mileage. Mileage would have added another $150 to my reservation, so I cancelled my rental at the last minute. I also had to cancel my trip entirely due to the added expense. It was disappointing and stressful. I wish the pricing was clearer. I'm not a fan of the car rental business model and usually try to avoid them.
