Pros: The accomodating front desk employee is great.
Cons: I have not found anything that I do not like, but next time, I hope to find things that I do not like about Budget Car Rental in the airport.

Cons: I was told to bring car back with same amount of gas that I had when I left Las Vegas. I had 3/4 tank when I left Las Vegas and returned with 3/4 tank I did not notice until I got home that I was charged about $40 refueling charge.

Pros: Convenient location
Cons: We were given a Mazda 3 but the paper stated a Ford Focus so they held us up to figure out how THEY messed that up. While on vacation the last thing I want to do is waste time.

Pros: Car was clean
Cons: I arrived at 9am to pick up my car and the only one available was a midsize car. This is not what I reserved. I wasn't forced to pay more for insurance and more money in gas. When I asked the attendant why this happen...I got a summary of how budget rental does not care about their customers or provide the employees with the tools nessecary to do the job. I will most likely not be using budget rental again due to this.

Pros: Drop off was fast. Small airport. Friendly people.
Cons: A little confused at first as to where to drop off car. No one at Budget counter, referred us to Avis. No one st Avis counter. But someone did take care of us and they were very nice.
Cons: That I couldn't drop it off at a budget rental building even though it's the same company

Cons: I reserved a standard car & when I got there they said they couldn't accommodate What I had reserved. I've rented numerous times from this place. They've definitely lost me as a regular customer. I've switched to Enterprise which gave me outstanding service.

Pros: They were open for dropoff on Sunday.
Cons: There was over an hour wait. I stood in line while one attendant served about 15 people. The rest of the place was empty. If someone needed service from any other car rental agency, they had no line and were out in 10 minutes. The line for Avis was so long and slow. At least another clerk could have helped. Then when I got to the counter, he said that he could not rent the size vehicle we reserved because of their Visa/Check card policy. I didn't bring a major credit card with me. That would have been nice to know. The vehicle I did rent worked for us though.

Cons: I booked my car a month in advance i was directed to bring my card with me to pick up my vehicle and was told i couldn't get the car cause i didnt have a credit card only debit. I was stuck at the airport at midnight with my 3year old ...
Cons: I had to ask them to come out and check the car over. They said they normally don't dot it until it's time to get cleaned. I don't want to be charged for something I didn't do.

3 day Altima rental car was a treat.
Pros: Car was really the icing on cake . Plenty of room and was a smooth comfortable ride. I asked for a Camry but the agent at National recommended the Altima. Great car.
Cons: Exterior was dirty and interior had soda residue on the passenger side.

Unexpected Frustrations - Never again!
Pros: The car it self was comfortable (lowered score because the inside was dirty) for a smaller car and got great gas mileage.
Cons: 1. Fine print regarding company rules for National Car rental would not download for us to read before we went to pick up car, so we did not expect the $100 hold on a major credit card/not debit, customer service at the pick up location was to put it mildly unhelpful, sarcastic, smug, and didn't know when to stop repeating himself, even after I put my hand up and said "STOP". "I get what your saying, I would just like you to be empathic to my frustration." At which point he smiles and then finishes repeating his statement to me.
2. Husband gets into car and being the professional he is, found the car to be dirty. Takes it to a car wash so he can be comfortable in it, isn't this something that is suppose to be done before he even gets into the car?
3. While driving the car he discovers there is no windshield wiper fluid, so he can not remove any bugs that may be blocking his vision. Again isn't this supposed to be filled before he gets the car? I sure hope all the other fluids are ok.
4. Then a warning light flashed "Take to dealer immediately!" WAIT WHAT? My husband had been driving it for less than 20 minutes, on his way to a job interview, he can't call and talk with anyone the Bluetooth wont transfer any sound through the speakers, he's in the middle of now ware by now, he can't pull off or turn around, so he call's me to have me call and to find out if he needs to do anything. After being on hold for over 10 minutes I get through to the roadside customer claims office. I tell her I am not in the car, the closet town is about 100 miles away, the above info, and then she proceeds to ask me a few question, "where are you at now?" I'm at home, I'm not in the car, my husband is. "Ok mam, where is the car?" On the highway in the middle of nowhere (does nobody at this company listen when you are talking with them?) "Ok mam ,lets see if I can help you"...ask a few more questions I had already given her the answer to, finally she states she can't help me she needs to talk with my husband since he's the one driving the car....at this point I am dumbfounded, he can't pull off anywhere safe to call you no exits and the Bluetooth isn't working....By this time the light has flashed "maintenance required", so my husband is no longer worried about the engine exploding just irritated as this is poor vehicle maintenance, a pet peeve of his.
5. Returning the car, my husband is delighted to see the same customer service rep as before (I am so making that up), the rep has the same attitude, makes my husband walk back out to the car to write the miles down (unlimited miles, we don't have to do that with Enterprise they'll do it for you), smugly says "I will have my guys do a better job at looking over the car before they go out with customers next time." Uh ok guy you do that but we will not be repeat customers with this company.
Pros: My girlfriend and I liked the property. We both liked the location in a nice area of Bakersfield. It was very safe and comfortable for us.
Cons: Kind of far from the downtown locations. But it was not a problem with the rental car.

Pros: I didn't realize the car I reserved for a 10 hour drive didn't have cruise control but the nice lady at the location offered to swap cars with another location to accommodate me. So glad I didn't have to make that trip without cruise control!

Cons: Made reservation for 12. And the place closes at 12
Call customer service. And they want us to go to another location (airport) and charge over 150$ more for same reservation.
Lady on phone gets rude because this is morally incorrect to us as we ask for same rate.
Don't worry we went with another company. Used hertz for Years but you have no worries in customer recovery if your staff gets all rude.
We will never use Hertz again.

Pros: I liked the fact that it took almost no time at all to get the rental vehicle and go.
Cons: The car was dirty. Had a dirty smell. Had old Fritos on the floor. The windshield on the inside hadn't been cleaned all the way down to the dashboard so it was difficult to see out of. The alignment was off. The acceleration was jerky. The car was not maintained very well.

NO CARS AVAILABLE!!!
Cons: There weren’t any cars available when we arrived at the AIRPORT! It was horrible because it caused our plans to be messed up and late for our scheduled things. We were very annoyed that we were able to book a car online and arrived there only to find out they were overbooked and didn’t have any cars available.
BEWARE IF YUU TRY TO RETURN EARLY...HIDDEN CHARGES
Pros: The rental process to pick up was easy I was quoted a daily rate of $20.90 for the days requested. I did inquire what happens if I return the car early. I was told by the agent it would be pro-rated. Went merrily on my way. The return was awful experience!!
Cons: Car ran great and met my expectations. However, the customer service on return was not satisfactory. My personal vehicle was ready from repair shop early. I returned rental to Enterprise 1 day early. When I requested the 1 day credit I was told the daily rate changes to $26.95 per day (6 days with 2days free). She suggested that I keep the car for the full original rental. I explained I was told by rental agent on pick up that it would be prorated. She was insistent that they did not owe me any credit and tried numerous ways to get me to pay full amount even though returned 1 day early. NOWHERE in any of the documents that I read, agreed to and signed did it state anything about the rate she was trying to overcharge me. I had already picked up the business card of the manager. I asked to speak to the manager and she said SHE was the manager. So I said "you are the manager Lori McWilliams? " No, she was assistant manager but lied about title. The dispute went round and round for 20 min till my ride appeared and I left totally dissatisfied and, upset .I left message for manager to contact me. The manager did contact me the following day. I emailed her my original agreement contract from Kayak with rate of $20.90 clearly stated. On 10/10 I did receive notice from Lori McWilliams that I would receive credit for the 1 day. Although she was apologetic the whole experience left me with negative feelings towards Enterprise. I will be quite vocal to anyone about this negative experience on social media, better business bureau, YELP and my company (2000+ employees).

Wait, wait and more wait
Pros: Free rental
Cons: Had to wait for car to be cleaned. No gas, had to wait for it to get gassed up. The car I was to have received was given to someone who did not have an appointment (a walkup). I was given a larger car only because it was the only one available, but they tried to make me think I'm getting a free up grade when it was the only car they had on the lot.

Check what your paying for vs what you reserved
Pros: The car was fun to drive and was clean. The attendant let me return it before opening hours which I was greatful for.
Cons: I reserved an intermediate car which their website said was a Hyundai Elantra or similar. I get there and they try to give me a Nissan Versa.....uh no I was told that was a compact on my last rental.....so then they say all they have is a Veloster which is categorized in their system as an intermediate......not even close to the Elantra.....tired of the bait and switch they assume people don't know anything about cars and won't care

A little disappointed
Pros: Quick and friendly service
Cons: Car was not. Dry clean in or out. Rep was not too willing to make note of multiple scratches and dings till I took pictures. Car had less than 1/4 tank of fuel at pickup. Interior wash needed badly overall not very impressive
