Although there is a counter for a few places in the terminal, all rentals require a shuttle bus to a lot to pick up the vehicle.

The location is remote. There is a train station about a ten minute walk away, but I recommend downloading the Uber app and getting to and from the location with uber drivers. It is only a 20minute drive from the CBD and about $30 Aud for an uber. I would suggest not picking up between 8-9:40am and 4-6pm (peak hour traffic).

Great car, abit pricey to add on another day but other than that it was awesome, from customer service through to phone contact changing drop off location an hour before drop off with no extra charge. Our rental was meant to go back Saturday 3pm but I wasn't able to take it back at that time, so I asked if I could take it back today and they said yes if I drop it off before 11am they won't charge me. I would highly recommend SIXT car rentals to everyone 👍👍👍👍

The price was reasonable. I don't believe that people travelling long distances should be given an EV, 9hr trip turned into 20hr trip, Cars do not hold charge long enough, from Sydney to Melbourne had to re-charge car 9 times and takes 1 hour to charge
