They did NOT fulfill the reservation, I had to do another one or go without a car. I want my money back and I will get it.
They never picked me up to get the car. I had to get another rental. I will dispute the transaction with my bank.
I booked and pay for the car rental+insurance with my credit card, but the driver was my friend, as my Driver licence was expired, when we got there, they were trying to sell another insurance, I got confused and when I check my booking the insurance was included and paid. Even having the car rental fully paid in advance, the attendant asked for my friend’s credit card, and because he wasn’t prepared, and didn’t bring one, he was doing me a favor and he felt embarrassed for not bringing one and also he felt guilty as I had to pay another fee, just because I was serving as a guarantor having to use my card. By the way, the same card I paid for the whole thing in advance. Also, there was no clear information where to get the transfer from the airport to the Car rental agency, and when we delivered, we were told the driver was on his break. Thank God i was earlier and didn’t misses my return flight. The tank wasn’t full, showing only 2 bars and the car wasn’t looking very clear and disinfected when I got it from the agency.
DO NOT CHOOSE FOCO RENTAL!!!! Extremely poor customer service Extremely poor management Car with mechanical issue!! No easy access to pick up/drop off the car Did not used the car for the whole period due to mechanical issue and did not get my money back I had to wait hours for the toll truck to pick up the car. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!
When I arrived to drop off the vehicle at 5:00 AM, everyone in the office was in the back rooms asleep. I had a flight to make. They took nearly 30 minutes to get me on the shuttle. Today, I received a charge on my credit card labeled "MULTAS FOCO ALUGUEL DE" for $29.07. I have not received any emails or information about this charge. I need an explanation for this! Foco seems to be very unprofessional.
Total price ended up being FIVE TIMES what was originally quoted and I still haven’t seen my deposit returned. They charged multiple additional hidden fees, pick-up was a chaotic nightmare, I couldn’t get ahold of anyone at the return location after calling for hours, and that return location tried to charge me a bunch of money for random other things, thinking I didn’t speak Portuguese and they could get away with it.
