Pros: Gas mileage was great

Cons: having to pick the car up at an offsite location was poor, there should have been highlighted information on application. The travel to an offsite location cost more than the rental of the car.

Pros: Car was in great condition! At drop off, customer service was awesome!!

Cons: At pick up, agent was working with other customers while we were sitting at her desk. Multiple charges to our card which was frustrating Car did not have a full tank to start.

I will not rent from Hertz again.

Cons: The manager and his lack of customer service. It took them almost 3 hours to get us our rental. We were late to our destination and did not get to see our family. We had to drive in the worst traffic and at the worst time of day. That part of our trip was destroyed by the lack of customer service. The solution given from the branch manager was not enough to make us feel better or want to return as a customer.

Wrong Car. Terrible car.

Pros: Courteous employees

Cons: We were given an economy car when we had reserved an intermediate. No other cars on property so we had no choice but to take it. Had to drive 1000 miles in a Hyundai Accent with no cruise control. Car upholstery stained front seat and back. Tire was low on air, had to put air in it, but ended up with a flat. It was Sunday so no other Hertz locations open to switch the car. ....had to take it to repair shop and leave it all day to fix tire. They gave us a $40 voucher for a future rental when we returned the car since we had rented through Kayak and they could not credit our card. We had rented the car for the trip so we wouldn't have to worry about our older car on the road. So much for that idea.

Pros: I entered the location as Orlando Airport knowing there was a Hertz rental location. However, the location Kayak allowed me to make the reservation was off the premises and we were unaware. The location was about 20 minutes from the airport.

Spouse couldn't drive without additional cost

Pros: No problem with the car itself.

Cons: We have NEVER rented a car where the spouse was not included in the original quote. The additional cost was prohibitive. So my husband had to drive everywhere, even short trips. We rented for a month, so this was quite inconvenient! We shall not rent from Hertz again.
