Pros (+) In magnificent mile, but off busy streets.
Cons (-) The furniture and decor can be updated. Older but, clean and comfortable.
Pros (+) Centrally located and friendly staff. Great size room and amenities for the price.
Cons (-) Housekeeping could have been better. Room not cleaned until 5 pm and cleaning was substandard. Wet towels left in room and dirty coffee cups. Beds too hard. Also, teenage kids were given a handicap accessible room. We were not told about this until we saw the room. Didn't need to take up that kind of room, but after they had already unpacked, didn't want to change rooms.
Cons (-) Basic Internet was kind of hit or miss on access and performance
Pros (+) The facilities are good. The location is excellent.
Cons (-) The parking is outrageous. $66/day but I think that's Chicago. One of the hotel staff was a bit rude, but the others more than made up for his behavior.
Cons (-) Toilet flush was EXTREMELY loud. And we could hear the toilets from other rooms as well.
