Cochem Hotels near Cochem Castle

Truly wonderful view from balcony room, very helpful staff,and there was a very good breakfast

Lovely views and the town it is located in is very pretty. Good breakfast. The hotel was OK but did not meet the standards of other hotels in Germany we stayed in for the same price. Reception was 'cool' and overly businesslike. The location is difficult to locate by car an includes reversing into a very steep drive (our car scraped the driveway) and then parking even further up the hill, though we found the hotel's own parking places full and had to park on the road. Curtains in the room need to be thicker and longer. They did not completely cover the window nor cut out the early morning sun. Over priced compared with other hotels/guesthouses we stayed in during Germany trip.

Excellent location, just off the main market square. Not too long of a walk from the train station, and pretty quiet at night, in spite of the central location. Also the breakfast is very nice. The room was a bit cramped for the cost. The shower did not work particularly well.

The staff were very friendly, and very helpful. They could not be faulted. Breakfast was fabulous - very relaxed. Despite beds, would definitely stay there again. Beds not so great, although this is personal none of the 4 in our party slept well due to the bedsPoor bathroom storage. Could have done with some better signposting to hotel which is difficult to find - but in a fabulous location.

the hotel was just standard , the staff were helpfull if you had any questions , great parking for motorbikes ... food was ok but not much in terms of choice ... no menu , just what they are serving that day the dinner menu ... as there was not one , no choice ? in a hotel like this paying premium prices you would expect a bit more , my friend stayed in a hotel up the road from here payed half the price and in my view was a better hotel ?

View from resteraunt terrace, freindly staff. Rooms very dated and small with little ventilation, pokey shower room needed bathroom door open to use the sink, not much storage space. only outlook into fire escape in tiny central courtyard. Pool dark and uninviting, so remained unused.

The staff were very friendly. The buffet breakfast was okay. The hotel was old and did not have air conditioning, internet or phone service. We were given a skeleton key which we needed to use to lock and unlock the door even when we were in our room. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that is claustrophobic.

The view was beautiful, and it was in a good location. The price seemed high compared to other places.

Our final room Staff were unforgiving in a my poor german, felt quite stupid and dismissed. 1st room was internal and very poor and so very noisy but that was the guests.

Views of the Mosel River and in the center of town Hotel has no fans for guest (so they say); it was quite warm with little breeze; to stay somewhat cool had to leave window open and deal with the noise.

Very close to the action in Cochem. Right on the main drag. Easy to get to and very convenient, Minus was that it was on the main thoroughfare - lots of truck traffic, even early in the morning. A bit noisy.

Convenient location. No soap in the bathroom nor provided on request. Staff sitting on stairs smoking and eating. Having to walk 150m along road to another hotel for breakfast.

location was perfect for us on the river and staff very friendly

The food was good. It was 5 minutes from the centre of town and easy to get to other towns. Our room was fair but would have liked a hairdrier and tea / coffee making facilities.
