The pick up took forever, the lady said she did not have our reservation, she initially tried to charge us more money then said she would give us a discount - it was all very confusing and I did not understand. She told us we would be charged a large security deposit that would be refunded a couple of weeks after we returned the car - which seemed really really odd to me that they would hold that much of my money for so long. I checked my credit card and they did not do it that way but at the time, her explanation was troublesome and I didn’t have the ability to check my credit card and see what they were charging me. It made me feel uncomfortable that I was being taken advantage of. The return was a better experience- pretty quick and easy.Reviewed 2 Aug 2026

Pretty crappy. Website is TERRIBLE. Paid for skip-the-line; arrived at airport and via the app was told to skip the line. I skipped the line, went downstairs to get the car; next instructions on app were to "go see an agent." Now we go back up and the line (that I was supposed to skip) is now much longer than if I hadn't skipped it to begin with. Thanks for nothing, Dollar. Next I finally get to agent and I'm told there are no cars, I need to wait. Okay, I say, just make sure I don't get charged for skip-the-line. "Oh, that's not us," says the agent, who is wearing a Dollar-branded shirt at the Dollar rental counter. "You need to bring that up with Dollar." Whatever. Eventually I got my car and, in case you were wondering, yes I was charged for "skip the line" ! Woohoo!Reviewed 29 Jul 2026
