Pros: Pamela is a perfect host and everything is perfectly organized. Romantic location in front of the Yosemite NP gate.
Pros: Great breakfast. Nice rooms.
Cons: No mirror light in the bathroom.
Pros: Very nice break feast. Close to park entrance. Nice surroundings with birds to feed. The host was able to provide excellent information on walks etc to do within the park which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Pros: The view out of our windows was very relaxing. The bathroom was beautiful and very large. The owner was very helpful on cites to see and trails to take. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Many extras available for the visitor. Indy (the dog) was cute and very friendly, too.
Cons: Not a lot of room to put 2 large suitcases.
Pros: Pamela was an excellent host providing us with superb insights into Yosemite.
Pros: Very comfortable B & B. Breakfast was nice with fresh fruit available. Located 2 miles from park entrance. Pamela was an excellent host, with plenty of useful suggestions for hikes.
Pros: Very clean and comfy. Pamela was very accommodating and helpful in planning our time in the park. Breakfast was delicious each morning! Very thoughtful amenities such as shoe dryers in the room and treats in the common area. Would definitely stay again.
Pros: Beautiful room and setting with stream by the house. Great breakfast which we had packed for us for 2 out of the three mornings we were there due to wanting an early start in Yosemite. Very clean, excellent bed, shower etc. We were very well looked after and everything was as expected.
Cons: My only negative is that this place is a good 45 min drive into Yosemite Valley.
Pros: Fantastic location, lovely host, great room and view, excellent breakfast just perfect!!
Pros: The host was very friendly and informative on what to do in the area. The room was comfortable and well appointed and the breakfasts excellent. Good location close to the entrance to Yosemite park.
Pros: homemade breakfast was awesome. better than 3 star hotel breakfast. i believe i had made a great decision to stay this place cus I couldnt see any better place while I was driving the area. The Inn was located very close to the south entrance means you dont need to drive extra 25 to 30 miles. The room was very clean and quiet. I hope other people also enjoy their stay at this place. It is my first writing review after the trip.

Pros: Everything. We were given a warm welcome by Ramona and Gary, caretakers of this beautiful home away from home. Their attention to detail was excellent. The large master and en-suite were fantastic, as was the breakfast and atmosphere. The ride in the model A ford was fun.
Pros: Tom and Daphnie were terrific hosts. The rides in the Model A Ford were great fun as well.
Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The property was picturesque and very clean with a lovely balcony to sit out on. Breakfast was very welcome and staff were willing to cook alternative food when required. Breakfast treats such as cakes were offered in a take-away bag for the day ahead. The treats of cookies and pastries were delicious on the evenings
Pros: Completely comfortable, incredible attention to detail, warm and friendly hosts. Our stay was awesome!
Cons: Not one thing. Everything was super.
Pros: Wonderful House close to the Yosemite Nationalpark. The Housekeeper are two wonderful Persons. Our Son 1,5 Year find his Grandmother for 2 Days
Pros: Great location, just outside Yosemite south entrance. Beautifully decorated yet comfortable. Soft towels and robes. Every night when you return they had a homemade treat in your room. Breakfast several courses and delicious .
Cons: Everything was great
Pros: Small Inn that took great care of us!
Pros: The hosts Dave and Sheran two of the nicest people you could meet. Very kind, caring and helpful.
Pros: We loved the feeling of being pampered guests in someone’s home. The innkeepers, Darci and Tom, couldn’t have been more hospitable. The hot breakfasts were delicious, as were the surprise home baked cookies placed in our room in the afternoon. We also loved the two-level cottage—clean and warmly decorated. 5+stars!
Pros: The staff was extremely friendly. The location is ideal to staying close to the South entrance of Yosemeti National Park.
Cons: The "cottage" I stayed in was on two levels. Bed and bathroom were upstairs Small couch and small table was downstairs. The staircase was beautiful wood and could' be slippery. I was very careful going up and down the stairs.

This resort has facilities measuring 15000 square feet (1394 square meters), including conference space. Free valet parking is available onsite.
Pros: Had three rooms for three nights. One room was a different rate. Hotel could not honor rate for all three rooms
Pros: Amenities and location
Cons: When I needed anything from front desk or house keeping then took forever or forgot to deliver it. Rooms muggy
Pros: The location
Cons: The cost of everything was crazy high and for what you get is really quite disappointing
Pros: Location, right at the south entrance of the national park
Pros: Great location a few minutes outside the park entrance. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking spots. The whole hotel was cozy with great facilities.
Cons: Housekeeping forgot to clean our room, so we had to remind them in the evening. The room layout was not optimal with a combined pentry/sink and basin/mirror in the room, and a separate bathroom.
Pros: The cabin was lovely and staff very helpful.
Cons: You couldn’t park near the cabin so getting luggage in was very hard work, you don’t feel like your part of the resort as you have to get shuttle transfer to the restaurants and activities, this needs to be made clear when booking.
Pros: The breakfast buffet was pretty good.
Cons: Took over four hours to get checked in, rooms were a mile away from front desk, the lodge kept having power issues, towel shortage at the pool, for the cost I felt that everything should be top notch with little or no problems. Seemed like the under staffed for as busy as they were.
Pros: Lovely location - not that we saw it from our room - looking at the air conditioning units extremely disappointed
Cons: Came all the way from Australia to only have a view of the air conditioning unit - noisey room at the start is the corridor
Pros: Everyone was so helpful!
Pros: Staff exceptional, pools excellent and always a great atmosphere around. Really enjoyed our stay.
Cons: About an hours drove to yosemite valley from the hotel
Pros: Facilities are excellent and friendly, knowledgeable staff
Cons: Food menu was limited .
Pros: The entire staff was very pleasant and helpful. I had casually mentioned to the girl at the front desk that we were staying for our anniversary, and we returned from dinner, there was champagne, strawberries, and a very nice card! Great service!
With a stay at White Chief Mountain Lodge in Fish Camp, you'll be in a national park, steps from Sierra National Forest and a 4-minute drive from Yosemite South Entrance. The front desk is staffed during limited hours. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location (10 mins to Yosemite National Park gate), helpful staff - the lady gave us very nice tips about yosemite and how to plan the day, the rooms were absolutely cute - we felt like in a cottage, breakfast included, parking available includes in the price, fridge in the room
Cons: Prepare for mosquitos - the lodge is in the forest (but wasnt an issue at all), it wasnt a 5 star hotel but its great for a few days in Yosemite if you dont want to camp in the the park
Pros: Great location but in need of renovations. Cabin had musty smell. There was a sign for rest. But later found out it closed but no one bothered to take down sign. Great location to Yosemite but 290$ was very high for what we got.
Cons: Location was great. Mattresses were comfortable. Front staff person was nice and helpful.
Pros: Staff was attentive and friendly! GREAT LOCATION!
Cons: The breakfast is poor. Plastic chairs.
Pros: Room was clean
Cons: Way too over priced
Pros: loction close to Yosemite, you can park there, breakfast area, breakfast is included in the rate...
Cons: rooms are a bit old, at the reception most of the time there is noone...air conditioning was not working...
Pros: Location & had a cot for baby
Cons: Outdated & very basic
Pros: Location next to park entrance
Cons: Facilities are quite basic. You can’t use them between 11 and 16hs. That’s the “cleaning” period. Considering the cost per night losing the room 5hs is ridiculous. Most places nearby have same limitations though. Breakfast was couple hundred meters from cottage, particularly in winter it’d not be very convenient.
Pros: Peaceful forest surroundings. Clean bathroom. Picnic tables outside
Cons: You don’t expect much from a motel near Yosemite where there’s continual one night tourism. Linens could do with an upgrade
Pros: Prime location, lower cost compared to adjacent motels, reservation was refundable if cancelled (primary). Free breakfast, fridge and microwave in room (secondary).
Cons: Tiny dark room, no chair or table, beds too short.
Pros: It is a cosy place
Cons: very much outdates
Pros: The room turned out to be a cabin and the extra space was appreciated. The bathroom was well-stocked with nice towels; the refrigerator worked pretty well. The grounds were nice, with lovely wildflowers and those massive trees!
Cons: Checking in was long & tedious; I don't know what the problems was, but there was 1 couple ahead of us & the receptionist chatted with them at length, while we waited in a cramped corridor. When our turn came, we had to produce both drivers' licenses, since I made the reservation, but my friend was paying. This simple situation took an unreasonable amount of time to settle. Also, maybe a slow printer/copier?
When you stay at Narrow Gauge Inn in Fish Camp, you'll be in the mountains, a 1-minute drive from Sierra National Forest and 6 minutes from Yosemite South Entrance. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access and a safe deposit box at the front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The Narrow Gauge Inn appears to be a lodge from a long-ago time. As a result, it also has an unkempt appearance. The buildings are not well maintained. Our room was not clean at all. The furniture was stained, the mattress lumpy, the lighting was poor, and the wifi was non-existent. The bathroom was awful. The shower door was flimsy and hard to open. There was no way we were going to use the glasses or coffee cups because they were all either dirty or dusty. The outdoor deck off the room had not been cleaned so the furniture was dusty. We were charged $9.99 for breakfast so for $20. we had access to scrambled eggs that had hair in it, orange juice not made from oranges, potatoes that tasted like leftovers and burned sausage. We skipped having breakfast on our second morning and just made sure our bill was paid, and we left never to return. This place should not have a triple AAA sign, indicating that it is an approved AAA facility. The only plus for the Narrow Gauge is the location 4 miles south of Yosemite.
Pros: brearkfast is not special should be included. Dinner was very very good. Staff very helpful and friendly. The place is little pricey but one of a kind place to stay in nature setting.
Pros: The views, private entrance, parking close to room and balcony.
Cons: The walls were a bit thin, we heard our neighbors talking very loudly for an hour on a Saturday night and could not sleep. Also wish there was a WiFi extender so WiFi could be used in rooms since there was no cell service. Not a big deal but would like.
Pros: Location; bed comfort; value price.
Cons: Poor WiFi, only marginally better in the lobby; hot breakfast cost extra and ran out of key offerings only midway through the morning. This is a 2.5 star hotel, not 3.
Pros: The surrounding enviroment is quiet and beautiful. You will be hugged by fresh oxygen here. And it is the one of the closest place outside the south gateway of the park
Pros: Location is ok. Just an hour to drive to the Yosemite National Park. Property is old and nice inside. There is a very good restaurant in the property.
Cons: The jacuzzi is closed. There is a swimming pool but can’t swim outside because of a lot of mosquitoes. Breakfast is very simple but cost $10.
Pros: Loved the brook down the side of the property. Loved location and it's next door neighbor steam train. We loved the more quaint lodging with character rather than a large chain-type hotel.
Cons: Our room's AC was broken (we should have suspected something when we saw two fans when we walked in our room). We said something the next morning and they said they'd check on it but no one came and the next morning as we were checking out I mentioned again no AC and the front desk attendant said there was nothing in the books for maintenance
Pros: Friendly staff, great location. Restaurant on-site surprisingly awesome.
Pros: Friendly staff. Very helpful. Room was a little small But our room was along the creek out side our rooms Was very lovely! To sit out side and enjoy!
Pros: Breakfast was very good! Full American with really friendly staff, who took the time to explain things, give good tips about the places around and have a good chat about our lives :)
Cons: Restaurant was closed in the evening.
Pros: The property was well kept and peaceful.
Cons: A little pricey. I feel like the breakfast should’ve been included for the price.
Pros: location was good
Cons: rooms was on shabby side for the money. $20 for bk that I get for free at a holiday inn.... 3 stars at best
