Cons:Made reservation over a month in advance, even calling to speak to supervisor/manager to ensure specific room. She assured us that we had the room. Called the morning of the reservation, as we were driving from some distance. Was told that not only did we not have the room we were promised, we did not even have the type of room. Instead we were told we were "downgraded" but that we would save money. Seriously. Who downgrades someone -- you upgrade if anything. Huge disappointment. Hotel did later email to apologize and offered Hilton Honors points, which was nice. But trip was ruined.

Pros:Clean, updated rooms, nice gym and fitness area.
Cons:Half of the parking lot was blocked off for a private venue and guest were forced to park off site both Friday and Saturday. The staff didn't mention this until after checkin. Also both nights that we stayed there was very loud music over powering the volume of my tv in our room. I called twice each night and complained about it but the music was loud until almost midnight both nights. Double Tree did end up giving us a free nights stay but only after dealing with it for 2 nights.

Pros:It was cozy, clean, and located centrally to outdoor fun. NAU campus is conveniently down the street. Frisbee Disc Golf course is just around the corner. Sakura is located in the hotel.

Cons:The parking lot was very icy. It really needed some salt. Also parking was limited. And they did not have any rooms with a view.
