Great new car with Bluetooth CarPlay, charging ports (USB-A). It was a plug-in hybrid, and we were not given any instructions on how to charge it. We returned it with an empty batter and were not charged extra (just had to fill it with gasoline). Pickup at Frankfurt airport was a mess. They did not have enough cars ready. We wound up getting one after about 45-60 minutes total time in line. They didn’t have enough agents, and the ones there were very nice but didn’t control the crowds well, who started trying to cut in line. Other than the very stressful check-in, the rest of the experience couldn’t have been better
Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Helped me with my upgrade to the full EV SUV Audi e-tron, which turned out to be an excellent choice for my 8 day trip!
SCAM ALERT. We prepaid for our car. Our pick-up was delayed and we picked up our car 3 hours late. The manager told us the requested car was not available because we did not pick up the car within 1 hour of our scheduled pick up time per some obscure policy (despite having prepaid for the car) and that our only option was a downgrade, or we could pay an extra €200 fee for a larger car. The downgrade was too small so we paid the extra fee after 45 minutes of arguing with the staff. I’m very disappointed in the way the situation was handled. I’ve lodged a complaint with my credit card company.
Pick up of rental was horrible. 80 min wait at Frankfurt airport due to lack of staff. nowhere to sit. Otherwise clean and nice car. return no issue.
The woman helping us at drop off was sooooo slow. And she didn’tfocus. There was a huge line and she got distracted with conversations. She tried to talk us into insurance which was annoying. Also tried to get us to upgrade. It took 1 hour total and that’s not acceptable. Other than that, all goes well.
I can’t think of anything.
