Very good location, clean rooms and supportive staff. The Bistro of the hotel is excellent.
The location for our prosecco buying trip was perfect. Having stayed at the Villa Abbazia a few years ago we had high expectations of their annex hotel. The room was very comfortable and very presentable but we felt (as no staff were based in the building) very isolated - in fact we saw noone else the whole 2 days of our stay. Meals were taken across the way in Villa Abbazia and we were very good. Service impeccable.
The room was very comfortable and very presentable but we felt (as no staff were based in the building) very isolated - in fact we saw no-one else the whole 2 days of our stay so it felt like we were the only people staying in the annex.
Location was excellent and the included breakfasts were truly outstanding!
Disinterest and decided arrogance of Manager (although rest of staff were very accomodating) No coffee/tea facilities in room. No tissues supplied either. Very hard pillows. Many restaurant staff and winery hosts in the area were extraordinarily welcoming and generous with their time and suggestions... but all had the same dismissive opinion about this above property Manager.. We also found hotel general drinks charges far in excess of what was locally available.
Rooms were nice and extremely clean. Reception desk was friendly and available, even if working in another building (hotel) across the road. Parking was free and by the building, wifi worked well during our stay. Don't forget to book a table at the michelin star restaurant Le Corte nearby. It is outstanding.
Lack of elevator, complimentary water in the room. AC was not super fast, so we felt hot at night and after long day outside the hotel. Breakfast was located in another building of the friendly hotel (they were great, but you need to walk across the street.
The little town was adorable and the hotel was exactly the same! Easily my favorite hotel we’ve done an overnight at in Europe. Staff was super accommodating and helpful! We have added it to our favorites, have already raved about it to our friends and will absolutely go back.
The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but we weren’t overly bothered by it.
