Pros: Great breakfast and the staff goes out of their way to make sure you’re visit meets and exceeds expectations.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This truly felt like we got away. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. We live near Austin and this was a great getaway. The place is very comfortable and very nice to stay at. I wasn't expecting this based on the pictures and they don't do it justice. Breakfast was delicious and just enough.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast.
7.9 Good
Pros: Very calm environment. The visiting cat. Nicely decorated. Rocking chairs on the porch.
Cons: Our bathroom had not been cleaned before our arrival on Tues.. Human/pet hair was found in the sink, window sill and shower. Shower walls were dirty. Trash from previous guest was left in the water closet trash can. It was explained as an honest oversight due to vents being cleaned earlier in the day and it was cleaned when we returned to our room Wed night. Breakfast was a lovely idea, but we are early risers and waiting until 9:00 for breakfast delivery was a bit too long for us.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Charming, good location, very tasty breakfast.
Cons: Squeaky bed.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely love the cabins. Rooms really are a great getaway from your typical hotel/b&b. Breakfast was amazing! Walking distance from Main St.

Pros: The staff were super friendly, the porch cat is such a ham, he adopts anyone who pays attention to him. The room was super cute and rustic, the bed was comfy, they even supply locally made soap, shampoo, etc that smells absolutely fantastic (you can purchase them too!).
Cons: The breakfast was a little generic, but still tasted fine.

Cons: I couldn’t lower the ac past 70
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great quiet location. Super clean and very relaxing, close to town but not too close.
Cons: Lack of sound proofing between Cottages 3A and 3B. It sounded like we were sharing the same room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location has beautiful scenery and multiple near by destinations like wineries, downtown and The Enchanted Rock (mountains/trails).
Cons: If anything, I recommend the cottage owner to replace the outdoor light bulb. Sometimes, it was dark when we would come back from exploring the town, and it was difficult to see.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location, atmosphere and comfort of it. Would definitely stay here again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was beautiful and quiet. I can’t wait to go back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is hard to beat. Right across the street from Grape Creek and next door to 4.0 Cellars and Messina Hof. Breakfast was okay. Just a packaged muffin but it was good. I didn't expect any breakfast to begin with. Overall was great.
Cons: No complaints!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Enjoyed being in a stand alone unit. The night sky views behind the cabin were clear and amazing! I would stay here again.
Cons: The WiFi access code was not readily available. It was not really big deal because, my stay was just overnight.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Size of room. Location-easy to walk into Main Street. Loved the swimming pool at the Blue House. Sparkling white bedding and towels. Excellent choice at breakfast.
Cons: Liked everything.
7.0 Good
Pros: Didn't try the breakfast, but was in good locatio, not too strenuous walk to main street. Water pressure in shower was GREAT!
Cons: bathroom is small with very little place to set things. Would have helped if toilet top was flat so could place stuff there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We liked the location from town and the pool and hot tub. The accommodations were clean and nice.
Cons: We liked staying there. There was not anything to dislike.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is great and close to Main Street in Fredericksburg. The motel is retro but has been fitted out with modern conveniences and we were impressed with the value received (covered parking, an outdoor pool, buffet continental breakfast, and a complimentary bottle of wine - all for a very low price). They even upgraded our room to a King suite!
Cons: For the price, I can't really fault this motel. It was quaint. If you're looking for fancy, this is not the place, but clean and comfortable fit the bill.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: cleanliness and hospitality. they go out of their way to be nice.
Cons: no
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, nice property, covered parking.
Cons: I didnt appreciate the price gouging that happened due to Oktoberfest. Normal rates are $60 per night, the rates for this particular weekend were $350 per night. Parking lot wasn't monitored and festival goes parked for free in the hotel lot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming, comfortable, and perfectly located! Staff extremely hospitable, highly recommend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love the location. We stayed in the Blue house. It was so cozy and clean. I loved it.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect to take a walk down Main Street only a few blocks away.
Cons: Its always clean and everyone is friendly.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location to downtown, food choices (tons), loads of day trips to take from our location & kitties on the property to pet!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is a VERY different style of lodging and I must say we really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in the "Blue House" section and it was great. The furnishings were all as if it was in the 40's and 50's it was very clean. It was a 4 tenant house with each having multiple rooms, and a private little pool and bbq area. Rebecca, the girl at the front desk was a gem and the small little breakfast she had in the lobby was great. You had a fully equipped kitchen in your room also. Overall our stay was GREAT
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location and cleanliness of this place is great. Also, the free bottle of wine waiting in the room on arrival was a nice touch.
Cons: The continental breakfast. The boiled egg the morning we ate there was bad and the coffee was ho hum. The covers on the bed look very old and should be replaced. Finally, there was a stain on my pillowcase.
Fredericksburg Inn and Suites - Fredericksburg - Building

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the pool area and seating areas around the property. Great breakfast and cookies and coffee in the afternoon. With in walking distance to downtown.
Cons: Would have been nice to have a couple comfortable chairs in the room.
6.7 Good
Pros: The hotel is very close by the city center, walking distance, perfect location.the decoration and style is very nice. Jim was a wonderful host, very kind and helpful! Nice swimming pool and jacuzzi ( but the hotel puts too much bleach, so the smell is very strong). Fredericksburg is a beautiful town, lots to do.
Cons: Very basic and poor breakfast. Very bad wifi, it drops anytime, poor wifi system, not professional. The hotel itself is extremely noisy. The walls are like thin paper wall, a nightmare! You hear people above you, and behind and both sides of your room, you can almost follow all conversations! The sound isolation is close to ZERO! We could sleep only when all the rooms around us were also sleeping, unbelievable. The hotel has a lot of business people, they have meeting there and big parties outside around the swimming pool, also not nice for the other clients. I think that the hotel manager should definitely sleep one night in a room between all occupied rooms to realize how bad it is. We never ever had such a noisy hotel.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Swimming pool. Location
Cons: Noisy Air Con. Bright red light on the landing outside our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The pool area was excellent and the ability to purchase beer and wine at the front desk was a plus. Excellent stay.
Cons: None noted
7.5 Good
Pros: Most of the front staff were very helpful. The breakfast selection was good and it was nice to have access to the fountain machine throughout the day. The lobby was cozy and the outside tables provided and nice place pto enjoy a bottle of wine and conversation with family and/or friends. The grounds were kept up and the room was clean. The location of the hotel to downtown was perfect and easy to walk to. Very cute place and we would stay again!
Cons: The room was not ready when we first arrived. We were given the option to get another room but it was on the second floor and I was traveling with my 84 year old mother. So, we went into town for a while and came back at 3:00pm. The young lady working the front desk said the room was not ready and gave us the same option of changing rooms. I told her we would just wait in the lobby until the room was ready. At 4:00pm (this gal had left and there was another clerk at the desk) I asked again if our room was ready and the gentleman said it wasn’t BUT he would check himself. It was indeed ready and we got into our room. Not sure why our room was not ready or if staff forgot to notify front desk it was ready, but I felt that could have been handled differently. We did appreciate the gentleman going the extra mile to physically check the room himself. The air conditioning kept going on and it was cold. I tried to adjust the thermostat but it still would randomly come on even after I turned it off. The tv signal also went in and out but staff came to the room to help fix the tv and offered us another room if we needed. We were leaving in the morning so changing rooms just for the tv signal was not necessary but we appreciated the offer. Even those these things presented issues, we would still stay here.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The peaceful surroundings, big trees and many places to sit and relax.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Pool area closed at 11:00, we love just sitting and talking we were not even in the pool.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful as places to dine. We arrived early got a room rift away. Room clean, bed so comfortable , quite, check out just as great as the check in.
Cons: Nothing!!!!!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The grounds at the Fredricksburg Inn and Suites are really special. There are many different areas to sit outside and enjoy the beautifully landscaped property. The sheets and towels were excellent and the beds very comfortable. Easy walk to shops.
Cons: I initially thought I might not care for the outside hallways, but it really wasn't an issue. Everything else was so great that I wouldn't even consider going to a big name brand hotel were I to return to Fredericksburg.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything but the walls are paper thin! You hear everything. Other than that, I love this place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I really enjoyed the hotel and breakfast. Front desk clerk was cordial in arrival and departure. The location is near the main strip, perfect location.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good location, lovely pool area appreciated greatly by our granddaughter. Comfy beds
Cons: Found the bed nearest the air conditioner noisy & cold. When we turned the fan to low it kicked onto hi once it got below set temperature on & off all night. Also seemed moist & musty on that side of room

7.5 Good
Pros: There was a mix up with our two night reservation which seemed easily fixed but did cause some anxiety. The efficiency with the fix was helpful. The room and bathroom were nice and clean.
Cons: The daytime manager was the one who corrected our problem which was good. However, she needs to remember that she presents the first impression of La Quinta to the visitor. I tried very hard to be pleasant and could not coax a smile. I was concerned that she might have a problem that interfered with her we!come to guests. If so I am so sorry...

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Sunday House Inn and Suites in Fredericksburg, you'll be in a shopping district, within a 5-minute drive of Fredericksburg Winery and Whistle Pik Galleries. Free self parking is available onsite.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Big rooms. Convenient location.
Cons: Air conditioner did not work in June in Texas. Bad news!!! Never got cooler than 77 with thermostat set at 65. After trying to sleep in a warm stuffy room, they turned off the water in the morning for 30 minutes for some repair. I think the motel has outlived its facilities. Summer in Texas is way too hot to do without air conditioning. When I notified the front desk , they told me "just wait, it will get cooler". It didn't. Very disappointed.
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Remodeled very nice. Downtown. Walk to shopping. Very clean. Nice staff
Cons: Little pricey. But not bad for the location.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great spot on Main Street Fredericksbug. Walk to darn near everything. Staff was great, asked for quiet room on ground floor and got one - 111 - and parked right in front of room. Older hotel (I stayed in it about 35 years ago) but adequately updated and comfortable beds. Hospitality coffee is good but breakfast is best found elsewhere.
Cons: Forgot to ask that they not put 4 kids in the room directly above. Coffee maker didn't work and spewed hot water all over.
6.5 Good
Pros: Heated pool Fantastic location continental breakfast very quite
Cons: Housekeeping - dirty band aid in bathroom! Liquid meds found in frig, glad our son didn't find it!
6.0 Good
Pros: The location is really good and within walking distance to everything on Main Street.
Cons: We arrived for breakfast at 9:00 am and there wasn't much food left. It was a continental breakfast with a waffle maker to cook your own. The waffle batter was empty and there were no staff members available or maintaining the area as guests came in and depleted the food. We ended up leaving without eating because there wasn't anything left by 9:00 am.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very easy, clean and in a great location

Pros: Value for price can't be beaten. Clean rooms comfortable beds. Plenty of space
Cons: The air conditioner up button didn't work and they didn't have extra blanket in the room
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: We didn't like anything. The place is a dump.
Cons: The place is a dump. Dirty. The ceiling looked like it was falling in. There was over a one inch gap underneath the window air conditioner that bugs got in. We plugged it with kleenex. The bathroom curtain was burlap. We had to put a bath towel up for privacy. Plus they charged us double than the price on the internet as it was Oktoberfest. We ended up leaving one day early because it was Oktoberfest. We couldn't get to the places we wanted as no parking and roads were blocked off. I slept with my clothes on it was so bad

Cons: Lobby under renovation. Disorder and dusty. Not inviting.
7.5 Good
Pros: The room was spacious and comfortable. The general manager was very helpful and accommodated us for the issue.
Cons: If the fridge had a little freezer for ice packs. We would have liked to have been informed that the lobby was under renovation so that we could have made other plans. My husband has COPD and all the fumes and dust made him sick.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Everything was mediocre.
Cons: Staff was rude. Looking for pool amidst construction. Got condescending, “May I help you? Like I did something wrong. Construction around pool made it inusaeable.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Room was clean and had recently been updated. Nice pressure in the shower.
Cons: Remodeling construction was going on in the lobby. Loud and dusty. Hallways and elevator were very warm. Pillows were just awful. Could not get our room cool until the middle of the night.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Location, the room was recently updated and beds were good
Cons: Registering for the hotel I was not informed construction was taking place I would have looked for another place. The breakfast was not fresh when we arrived

Cons: price
3.8 Mediocre

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was very friendly when we got in (at 12:30 in the morning). The man working the desk, I believe, was very polite and informed us that the lobby was a little messy due to renovation. The rooms were great everything looked brand new.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice breakfast. Bed comfy. Liked the shutters instead of drapes. Management tries to please. Didn’t encounter bed bugs
Cons: AC could be more efficient in removing humidity from air!!! No carpeting makes room seem cold/echoey (not temperature wise).
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice location and staff was professional. Hotel was clean even though it was under construction
Cons: The AC in our room was set at 66 when we arrived, we were going to bed. We figured it would cool down but it never did. During the night we were all hot and miserable. We did not bother the desk durning the night but did address the issue in the morning. The hallway was 10-12 degrees cooler than our room. We were very surprised that we were not offered a reduced rate or something. We will not be staying there again

7.1 Good
Cons: The shower curtain was mounted such that any water that hits the curtain ends up on the floor. We had to mop up a lot of water, using most of the towels, after every shower. There was only one small trash can under the wet bar and none in the bathroom. One table lamp had a bad fluorescent bulb in it. The TV remote control's battery compartment hatch was broken, such that the batteries had to be manually held in place to use it. Why should a guest have to repeatedly call the front desk to report things that are broken or missing from the room? Why isn't all of that tended to prior to the guest's arrival? And lastly, they're using those cheap, daylight colored complact fluorescent bulbs in every lamp throughout the entire room and in the ceiling fixtures. I don't have a problem with CFLs as long as their color temperature is warm. I felt like I was sleeping at a bus stop.
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great, staff friendly and helpful.
Cons: I was in 125 which is across from house keeping, constantly opening and closing doors. The second and third floors are laid out the same. The noise that was most irritating radiated down from the second floor house keeping ended at 6pm and started up at 0430. At first I thought it was a construction project. Constant moving of hampers on rollers plus other noises
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We've stayed here several times and it's a great location, free breakfast and the staff is very friendly. The rooms we have stayed in (low 2s and 3s) are all very large and comfortable.
Cons: Make sure you stay on the top (3rd) floor in the back. The floors are less than soundproof and if you're on 1 or 2, you will hear the folks above you. The front rooms have balconies, but overlook the street and tend to be noisier. The only elevator is pretty slow so if this is critical for you, it might not be the best spot.
7.5 Good
Pros: I thought Hamptons would be the same but no! Very nice hotel and breakfast. The room was nice and the bath was roomy and big shower. Plenty of seating but no drawers for clothing. I wouldnt want to stay more than a couple days and have to have everything in my suitcase. Pool LOOKS so pretty but its only 3 feet .. Feels like swimming in a kiddie pool. The pretty bridges are only pretty on the top side but underneath full of mold and grime. The staff was super and went out of their way if you needed anything. Location is great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very nice Hotel. We left some things behind and the staff is sending them to us. Thank You.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Pool and big rooms
Cons: The curtains could not be closed all the way so we could not make the room dark when we wanted to take a nap.
6.3 Good
Pros: Bed was comfortable
Cons: I paid through booking.com. They charged my card $500 and $70. They said it would drop off but now I have to deal with that myself. The pipes were banging in the walls day and night. The lady at the front desk said it was pipes. Extremely annoying
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast needed Bacon, scrambled eggs , real orange juice
Cons: The breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed our stay here. Breakfast was delicious, swimming pool was fun, and employees were courteous.
6.7 Good

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Clean, comfortable room. Nice helpful staff.
Cons: I was charged $58 for incidentals prior to my stay (my nightly charge was only $157, so close to 40%). It’s supposed to be refunded but it has not. Only one other hotel during our trip (out of 4) charged this and it was refunded the next day.

3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing. We will NOT be staying her in the future.
Cons: We stayed here in August and had no issues. Thus the reason that we booked again with them so soon. Upon arrival, the manager, was less than thrilled we were even there. She ran through her routined lines about the wifi and then slapped down my door key and said "that's it". Everyone has a bad day, so I quickly blew it off. Then we get to our room and having hiked Enchanted Rock literally minutes before arriving, we were eager to shower and get cleaned up to go grab dinner on Main Street (this was Oktoberfest weekend by the way). I start the shower and notice the hot water taking longer than normal to get hot. After 4-5 minutes (ample time in my opinion), the water was only luke warm. I shouted to my husband to call them and let them know and continued to take my luke warm shower since it was a hot day and it actually felt kind of nice considering. The manager sent a maintenance person to check it out. He said he would go back and report to the manager that indeed the water wasn't getting hot (like it needed confirmation). We waited 20-30 minutes and no one called or came back to let us know what was going to be done. I called and got the not so nice female version of the two managers. She quickly shifted me over to the male manager who quickly went into telling me that they had called a plumber and that it was going to be about and hour to hour and a half. I let him know we were trying to get ready to go eat dinner and asked if there was another room we could have. He tells me no that all the rooms are occupied and that even if he did move me to another room, that it wasn't going to have hot water either since it was the main circulation pump that apparently gets all the hot water to all the rooms.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is incredibly convenient and within walking distance from everything. There was complimentary breakfast items and coffee, Free parking, and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a mini fridge, coffee pot, and microwave in our room.
