Food excellent . Lovely friendly staff. good view breakfast was fabulous
The bar could be a little more updated lot rips in couches and stains . Restaurant we were waiting 20 mins or more to get our order placed then took another 30 minutes for food to arrive .
The location of this property just outside of Galway is perfect and was the reason we picked this hotel. The hotel was more luxurious than we had anticipated and very nicely decorated throughout. Our room was very spacious and the also had a lovely oversized ensuite. It was very easy to park our rental car in the overnight carpark which was handy as other places in Galway didn't offer parking. There is a stunning downstairs bar which we didn't get to have a drink at as we arrived back at the hotel too late but it looked sensational and we were sorry to have missed having a drink there. The leisure centre was nice and we enjoyed using the pool, sauna and gym. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are looking for an option in the Galway region.
The wifi is hideous - practically nonexistent. Even though this was a leisure break we needed wifi to check in back at home/get some work done. We used the data on our local sim cards but there also appeared to be a blackspot with them and loading any web pages was a disaster.
The bar had delicous food. Location great next to the bay. Free parking.
Restrictive Wi-Fi allowing only one device to be used at a time. I had to go and ask for another password for the 2nd device. Noisy parties in the lobby/bar/restaurant areas (in my opinion, large private parties should be in a separate area from the hotel guests). No chain on the door.
