10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice property, great little Mexican Restaurant down the street. Aunt Chilupas.
Cons: View out of my room. It was laundry facility.
7.0 Good
Pros: I liked that they had two pools open.
Cons: Other than the pools you couldn’t do anything. Due to covid-19 I didn’t get to enjoy all the amenities on the property.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: The person that checked us in gave us horrible directions to our room. He sent us to the completely wrong building and it took 20-25 minutes for us to find our correct room. The website had different hours for the pool then what the front desk person told and different times than the other staff member at the pool told us. When we got back to the room to call the front desk to confirm the next days hours so my family could swim, no one answered. I know these are difficult and different times re-opening after being closed for month +, but very disappointed.
3.0 Mediocre
Cons: This place need major upgrades. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable, chairs and furniture are way out dated, pool way too crowded. Never coming back.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room size was great and the water park
Cons: The elevators are very slow
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff was great! From front desk, cafe, to room staff. Very friendly & accommodating.
Cons: Inconvenience of the fridge & tv not working. Due to the pandemic, staff were limited & I didn't like bothering them to replace, since they were all over the grounds. They did eventually. We went up for the waterpark specifically but found out at check in it was closed. It didn't say it was closed on the website, so we drove from out of town for it. It would've been nice if there were designated times for families w children & those without. Pools were busy, again due to waterpark being closed, it being a holiday weekend & people wanting to cool off.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel staff was amazing. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The Casita was perfect for my family’s needs. The pools were conveniently located and open late. We will stay again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: They didn’t communicate
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love how it had a living room area and the toilet and bath tub in a separate room from the sink area. The hotel has an awesome lazy river tubing experience and different pools for kids and adults to enjoy.
Cons: Two things I didn't like was the smell in our room. It smelled like old mildew and our refrigerator was an old model that didn't keep our drinks cold.
6.0 Good
Pros: The waterpark
Cons: Resort seems to be in a state of disrepair. Water Jets and fountains on the lazy river don't have much water pressure. They weren't running water down the waterslide. THE JETS IN THE JACUZZI NEAR THE WATERFALL DON'T WORK. Expensive drinks with minimum alc
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location and layout of the room
Cons: I had say improve cleaning - understanding it was the holiday weekend. Saw random hair in the room on the floor.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: We were never told nor specified on the website that the lazy river area was closed prior to booking. We booked thinking this area was opened. Once we arrived we noticed it was closed. There was only 1 pool open which the entire hotel class cramped into. Horrible experience. Will not be booking at the Pointe Hilton Squaw ever again.

Pros: Great hotel. Great service.
Cons: Property undergoing renovation. Room patio had a wall across it do that it was like a bunker. Pool closed and under renovation. I was not told in advance. Ok as on my own but would definitely not have been ok if my family had come along.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Beautiful building and grounds. We actually had breakfast/lunch several times at the golf course; it is a good deal and the staff is top notch. The pools were great.
Cons: For such a beautiful hotel, there were common areas that were surprisingly dirty. The bathroom vent in the Ocatilla lounge was filthy; there was also a pile of dead bugs in the corner. My room, however, was spotless.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful. The grounds were meticulously maintained and the staff was helpful and friendly. There were multiple pools available for use as well.

Cons: With all the construction, dust and noise the least they could do is offer free parking considering parking is free in the rest of Arizona! Their main pool was closed not sure why they still charged resort fee.

Pros: I wish it would have said on booking.com that there was construction on the property... a lot of construction. We had a room literally backing up to it with a pet. Not a great view for the amount of money we spent. Would have stayed somewhere else with better view.
Cons: Construction on property

Pros: Upon arrival, there was no water in our room but No one bothered to let us know. We only realized after using the bathroom and learning there is no water in the room. When we called the reception, we were told they knew we had no water and did not expect to have running water for another hour or two. I understand emergency water shut offs happen but they could have told us about this before we were sent to our room and were faced with humiliation of using the bathroom and later realizing there is no water and we had to wait about 2 hours before water was stored. The following day, the elevators to our room did not work for several hours. There was no sign to say where the emergency exit was or the stairs or how to get to our rooms. We decided to leave and go get a meal, hoping they would be working upon our return. But hours later, we returned to still having no elevators. We were on the 4 floor and my husband had bad hips so he could not climb 4 floors up. We tried to use the lobby phone to get help, but it had no informative guide as to how to reach the front desk. The phone just rang out. We had to walk back to the lobby and we were told the elevators should be working now and that the engineers had assured her of this fact. She was going to send us back but given our experience, we asked her to go with us so that she can assist further if they were still not working. She agreed to walk back to the lobby with us to prove her point but she was embarrassed to learn the engineers had lied to her and that indeed the elevators were not working. The engineer was called in by the manager who stood there, looked us in our eyes and flat out lied and said they were working which was a joke. This lie upset me even more to stand there , witness the non working elevators and still claim they were working. So when I asked the engineer to explain how they are working, his answer was “the engineer is working inside the cabin,” which is a far stretch from the elevators...

Pros: The food and service were excellent.
Cons: The rooms could use some remodeling. We noticed a lot of issues, and there was a major leak in our room the second night after it rained. The manager provided a $75 comp to our room, but for what we paid it was not worth it.

Pros: Staff was friendly. Good location.
Cons: Was far overpriced for what you get IMO. Got a room with walk-in shower and beautiful view in Sedona for $100. Construction happening, no rooms ready for check in, couldn’t accommodate late check out for my zoom meeting. Staff was friendly but hotel is eh. Photographed much better than it actually was.
4.0 Okay
Cons: I was disappointed due to the fact that there should be some sort of advance notification for the pool times. For example if I would have known that all of the slots for the pool were taken I would have not spent money, just to stay in a hotel room.

Pros: I called to ask if my room could be a room that had just been just been cleaned. I told hotel employee my mom has cancer. With the pandemic of covid-19 I wanted to make sure we got a fresh room. He made it happen at no extra charge! Thanks
Cons: I don't like that I have to pay for parking. They already make enough with the room and resort fee, it's not right to charge for that. The staff member told us it's monitored by security, yet there's a sign that says they're not responsible for stolen items

Pros: Honestly not much. I understand they were doing remodels etc. that however does not explain the cleanliness/condition of the rooms. I get the vibe they were going for. But it went too far and came off cheap.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice restaurant with good prices attached to lobby along with a good bar. The rooms also had a much different look kind of retro/industrial style that was really cool. Large walk in shower and neat sink attached as well. Very clean and well lit rooms. There are also some cool places to eat within walking distance. Had a good breakfast in the restaurant and next day walked to a close by near coffee shop and got something light. Elevators also require a room key to even open them which is nice. It keeps things more calm as random people can’t just help themselves in and out. The rooms had USB charge ports on the desk build into the power outlets which was nice, there was plenty of them too.
Cons: Mandatory valet parking. Literally the only way to park for $14 a night and you feel like a jerk if you don’t tip. Anytime you want to come and go you have to wait for valet. If you want to try to find parking for free good luck tons of vehicles taking up every parking space as there since people live in that area as well. Private parking garages too. Valet should be completely optional. I’d rather park my own vehicle and grab it when I want to and if people want to use valet then they can have them go get it. Other than that, no real issue at this location. Sound travels pretty well in this place. You can hear televisions from your neighbors and stuff like that, but nothing unbearable. Water - The room had a fridge stocked with 4 water bottles, coffee maker with K Cups. The water bottles are $3 a pop. So make sure to bring your own or get enough to last.

Nathan the GM and Cody the night manager were awesome and made our decision easy. The property was in the center of the city. The staff was exceptional in making our stay for the two nights awesome. The suite we had catered to our desire to be pampered with the large jacuzzi tube in the large walk in shower. The corner suite allowed us to see downtown at night. 5.0 Okay
Pros: The room was very clean and roomy!
Cons: The room above me (203) had a lot of noise and banging at 5am so it was really hard to sleep. I had to call the front desk to ask if there were movers or guests in the room above us because the noise woke us all up. The front desk said it was the housekeepers but I don’t think they should be making as much noise if there are guest still sleeping that early in the morning.

Pros: Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Easily accommodated our requests. The location to freeways and dining/shopping options was fantastic. The cost was also very affordable.

The breakfast provided was a paper sack that typically consisted of oatmeal packets (I'm not going to knock them too hard on that because the stay occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic).
