we made a reservation for a mid size auto a Malibu. I had a printout of all the Enterprise reservation information that had the enterprise address on 1140 north Gilbert road chandler Arizona. it listed my correct email and phone number, and my correct name. it listed the Chevy Malibu and the rate quoted. It had the correct dates. Everything was correct on the printout and confirmed. However the staff at the Enterprise location had nothing on file, just my email. They did not reserve an auto for us and offered a truck which would not work. They said we had to use another vehicle for added charge. We had no choice but to take the auto and pay much more than quoted. They also charged a significant fee for an added driver that we felt was excessive.

Pros:
The staff was very friendly and helpful - even when I arrived very close to 6 pm. The vehicle was clean and in great shape, the paperwork was fast and easy to complete.
Cons:
It could have been catastrophic that I rented a van, but a large SUV was cheerfully presented to me when I arrived as though I would consider it an upgrade; the van came back damaged. When you need a van, you need a van so I think a customer should be called about something like this and given the chance to say fine, I'll take the SUV or please find and get me a van from a nearby location. I worked with the SUV but it was a startling surprise. Also, I didn't like the street I had to leave my car on much - not visible to Enterprise due to a wall or bushes, and it was dark.

The people in the office seemed preoccupied with other things. It took over an hour for us to get the car and then when we dropped it off the only person working didn’t leave her office in the back area and yelled for me to come back there to drop off the keys

They told us the tank was full, it was below half. When I tried to call the location, no answer. We had to return it with a full tank or risk paying ten dollars a gallon. Also the gas tank cover had been rigged closed, when we got gas it would not shut all the way. We again tried to call the location and no answer.
