8.0 Excellent
Pros: Spacious room on the 10th floor, free coffee and massage chair . Breakfast is simple.
Cons: Dated hotel.
5.8 Okay
Pros: A Japanese breakfast is included. The breakfast staff is cheerful and friendly. Ample free parking is provided. Free coffee and tea is provided on each floor.
Cons: We expected more from this hotel. The overall impression is dated, messy, papers everywhere, a random art collection, stains in the corridor carpets. Our room was quiet small and had a strange smell. Not good value for money at Yen 10500 per night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This place was perfect for me & exceeded my expectations based on some reviews I read here. It's not fancy yes, but it's clean, spacious, with a great public bath and perfect location for my travels being right next to train station & a main bus stop (I went to center of town & Kasayama but note that buses are very infrequent in Hagi 1ph so get a timetable from bus center if you plan to go to Kasayama), comfortable bed, spacious room, loved the big indoor bath, loved the free massage chairs, free green tea, free water, included breakfast was adequate & I would definitely stay again. (Cons: Not much around, no convini near by & I didn't enjoy the restaurant on 2F (was expensive, not tasty at all), 30min walk to "center of town")
Cons: Not much around, no convini near by & I didn't enjoy the restaurant on 2F (was expensive, not tasty at all)
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good hotel located fairly centrally in Hagi. The hotel is a bit dated but perfectly fine and comfortable. Free parking was helpful
Cons: The decor is a bit dated
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice business hotel near the station. The staff were helpful, breakfasts delicious and rooms clean. While it is a little dated, it was all clean, and the availability of thoughtful touches like a microwave in the common area and a coin laundry made my stay that little bit easier.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The room was larger than I expected. There was free water, coffee and tea available at every floor. The breakfast was very tasty: Miso soup, rice balls, pickled vegetables, salad, sweet bread and jam.
Cons: The dining room was a little bit noisy because of the TV.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything is done with excellence here. Front desk staff checking me in was proficient in English. The room is immaculate. The unexpected surprise was the spacious public bath - 3 soaking large tubs. Truly a treat
Cons: Everything is outstanding.

Pros: Great location (10-15 minute walk from the train station and about the same to the historic part of the city). Staff are great, rooms simple but nice and there's plenty of common space.
Cons: Nothing really.
7.0 Good
Pros: Coffee is good
Cons: Mattress was flat but its a hostel, it works.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hostel has a nice interior and very cozy-looking. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood. They also know about free parking. It is clean.
Cons: The heating of the rooms weren’t managed properly because guests sharing the room can change it as they please; temperature was not constant. There are a lot of stairs to go through to get up the rooms and down to the main lobby.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is quite cozy and there's a balcony on the top floor.
6.3 Good
Pros: If you are looking for a very good hostel this is for you.
Cons: We misunderstood the type of property and thought it would be more like a hotel, instead we had a room next to a dormitory with eight people to share the 2 toilets and showers. It was all too basic for us.

Pros: Perfect location, very nice service and helpful people, very clean, all was great !
Cons: Nothing

7.9 Good
Pros: The onsen! And of course the excellent hospitality
Cons: It’s nearby the Tōkoji and Shōin jinja but a bit far from the downtown. However, the hotel kindly provided us with a microbus to get to the Bus center so we could easily bring our luggage.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff, great food, including amazing kaiseki dinner and huge breakfast choice. The onsen pools were fantastic, including one at 120cm deep, another scented with rosemary and a room which ‘rained’ warm mist. I counted 10 different baths or pools.
Cons: The only issue was the private bath. It was expensive at over 3,000 yen for 45 minutes, and disappointingly small, especially for tall people. Given the main baths are so fantastic, this was a surprise
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The onsen was lovely. Our room was very spacious. Hagi is a lovely town.
Cons: I was a little disappointed with the meal. It was beautifully presented but not everything was to the standard I expected for the price we paid.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice onsen ... A lot of people in there but still very nice
Cons: A bit far from downtown

The location is very interesting because one minute from the sea and a lovely port. You can move easily walking or biking around. Thank you Santa for the stay!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It's a small hostellike guesthouse in a traditional building not so far from the center of this quiet historical town, Hagi. And it's really close to the sea, with a nice beach and pines! I really liked the spirit of old house where I stayed and my host Santa-san! It's cool when it's Christmass and you have your own Santa!
7.0 Good
Pros: Santa is a very accomodative owner. Place has a pleasant and friendly vibe.
Cons: Could be cleaner though.
