Quiet, Locals, Great value
Sunset Station is a great locals casino/hotel that's quite, clean and a great value. Staff is very accommodating and friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Whenever we're in the Vegas area we stay at Sunset Staion.
The slots took my $20 gambling allowance. Hahahaha!!!
Friendly guard staff near hotel towers, all working hard!! Very clean rooms, always easy in easy out at front lobby, always nice amenities for the family. Pool service was good, friendly swrvice in resteraunts as well.
Need parking garage by hotel rooms or shade, but ample spots. I did also see extra security in lot which was good. #vegas strong!!!
Friendly gaming employees
Room smelt like weed upon entry, no adjoining rooms when told it shouldn’t be an issue, rude front desk when asking for assistance with elderly father, cafe has gone down hill.
Everything
Fun stay-cation spot coming from a guy who lives in Vegas
Rooms are a pretty good distance from everything else. Long walk when you're tired.
Very nice rooms and very well trained staff. I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay there again.
Prices fluctuate too much which has caused me to stay in other hotels with more competitive rates some of the time. I guess that is Vegas but it does get very frustrating when you find a good quality hotel like Sunset Station
Not a place to stay just for the night
Quiet rooms
Pillows, outdated crib, dishonest employee, hidden charges
no coffee pot option in the room
very pleased
the amenities and surrounding stores , things within walking distance. The hotel itself was secure. the pillows were super hard and thick but as soon as I asked the front desk , they were very nice and immediately brought new soft pillows.
The bell service didn't come when I asked for help, in fact he was pretty rude, but they didn't ruin our experience.
Loved the pool area,,,very lush and pretty. Was very windy so area closed early. Made for a nice get a way.
Needed more maps and directions to get around to shops, movies,
The staff was very friendly and kind, professional. It was quite. I felt safe.
Nice for the price
Loved the food, close proximity of the theater and IMAX. Casino wasn't too smoky. Beautiful inside the center bar area
At check in a $100 deposit and resort fee of $18 were charged on my credit card. The $100 deposit should be refunded but I don't think that is necessary.
price, and buffet was excellent, pool great
As far as "off strip" properties are concerned this is one of the nicer in which I've stayed.
Check-in was a bit slow.
I had reserved with a credit card a room with two queen beds. Upon arriving at Sunset they told me none was available and we could only have one king and they would bring in a roll away. Sunset told me that they did not have to honor bookings unless they were from Sunset staff directly.
i liked the privacy of needing a key to get to the floor you stay on , it keeps random people from wandering around on your floor
The luxury of the hotel
The water in the swimming pool was too hot.
The price - it was a good value for the money
I really enlyed the quietness of the rooms. The evelvators ran quickly and the service at the desk was prompt and polite. The two for one coupon was a big hit.
The smoking as you walked through the casino to get to the reservation desk. I understand the setting, but at times the smoke was over whelming.

Indulge properly during your stay at this fun casino resort with the hotel’s gaming and dining packages that wrap up your stay in a nice bow. Happy Hour specials and Buffet Dining Discount deals ensure you can get more out of your eating experience in between gambling and gaming. Their All Nighter Boarding Pass specials are available for all onsite restaurants and give you the opportunity to enjoy your meal for less. To enhance your gaming experience, benefit from the many gaming promotions like Senior 50+ Wednesday and Military Monday.
If you are a Bingo fan, you are certainly at the right place when coming to this hotel, as the casino features bespoke Bingo specials to spice up your gaming experience. It’s all about cowboys and country music on their Boot Scootin’ Friday Nights and on Saturdays, you can experience Night Fever with disco music and a gleaming disco ball setting the scene. Guaranteed cash balls promise a good haul, too.
An unforgettable and varied dining experience comes with a visit to the all-you-can-eat feast buffet, which is available to you for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner. With its vast variety of food on offer, it is no surprise that the hotel’s buffet was voted Best Brunch by the Las Vegas review journal readers. International cuisine is spread out here, and you can also visit the Made-To-Order stations where your choice is freshly prepared, may it be a burger, Thai food, or pasta. Children under 2 can eat for free and older children benefit from preferential prices.
A choice of onsite lounges and bars makes nightlife possible without leaving the hotel. Club Madrid is the hotel’s renowned event stage with 500 seats and a broad range of artists performing every night. Whether you like jazz tunes, country music, or rock – here you will find it. For architectural innovation and 24h drinks and snacks, visit the Gaudi Bar that impresses with its mosaic glass arched ceiling and $5 martinis during Happy Hour. Seville Bar is the place to go when you’re into video poker and excellent cocktails.
With the hotel’s own arcade, bringing your kids into the late-night glitz of Las Vegas becomes unnecessary, as everything is on the hotel premises. At the Tiny Tots childcare center, children as young as 6 weeks are supervised by the highly trained staff in a child-friendly environment. For older kids, there is a karaoke stage, an arts-and-crafts station, an interactive train table, a lab, climbing wall, and, of course, the Quest, which is a multi-story play area. Sports also await in the sports zone with basketball, volleyball, and group games, among more.
With over 3,000 sq ft of space, the Sunset Room is definitely the biggest venue space and your room of choice for banquets and big meetings. For intimate get-togethers with up to 20 people, the onsite boardroom is sufficient. For a special meeting experience, also try the Bowling Alley meeting facilities, which are flexible rooms that can be adapted to your needs. (Prices checked 31/07/19).
