8.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms are really comfortable and charming with beautiful big bath, wooden everywhere and a beautiful balcony overlooking the mountains with rice terraces! Rooms are really warm! The best hotel in Ping'an to stay'
Cons: The common spaces were very cold to eat and stay...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Wonderful view, comfy and clean room, very kind owners, great food... we really enjoyed our stay in Longsheng. Small playground for the children makes it even better for the whole family
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a more then lovely and comfy hotel at a great location, good beds, fantastic view and close to the car park. The hotel is beautifully decorated and it is owned by very nice and kind and helpful people, the owner, Jason communicated very good in English in advance and during our stay. He gave great advices about all kind of things. The restaurant first felt a bit too cold to eat but they placed a little coal-fire under the table and so we felt lovely warm. Their menu was vey good too. We especially loved the bamboo chicken and rice. It was really the nicest place where we stayed in China, the view from the hotel is lovely and the views and hikes in the ricefields are amazing ! As we were rather off season at the end of December it was pleasantly quiet. We would love to come back at this wonderful place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing view and conveniently located in the village. You can easily access the walks around that will be explained by a very efficient staff. Food was good, nice shower and very confortable bed
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hospitality was exceptional. The room was exquisite with a beautiful view of the mountain and rice terraces. It is at the foot of the mountain so you might need some help with luggage if they are too cumbersome but there are porters at hand (though quite old and I felt really bad that they only ask for 20 yuan). There's many artisanal shops all the way along the path that leads to the hotel and into the village on the mountain flanks. It is perfectly located to truly soak up the atmosphere of the village. I forgot my Mac in the hotel room but they owners were kind enough to call my guide and found a driver to deliver my Mac back to Guilin city centre. I truly would recommend Baike to anyone and looking forward to returning there someday.
Cons: Everything was great. Nothing to dislike
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is fantastic. Sensational view of rice terraces from our room (until the rain started). Staff were exceptional. We would never stay anywhere else. A stunning hotel!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel location is perfect - perched over the rice terraces for a gorgeous, unobstructed view. Jason is great - super quick to respond and for those non-Chinese speakers out there, his English was among the best of those we encountered. Dinner at the hotel was delicious, too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with spectacular view. Be aware when looking for hotels in Ping'an Village that you will have to walk with your luggage to the hotel as no cars are allowed after the gate. Baike hotel is one of the first hotels you find (about 10 minutes walk from the gate) and there are no stairs to get there. Although there can be quite a lot of tourist in the area you can relax in this hotel, I definitely recommend getting a room with a balcony to enjoy the view. Jason and his wife speak great English, something not easy to find in China. Food is also very good and everything can be paid by card when you check out.
Cons: Everything went well. Book with enough time to be able to choose the room you like.

7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel had amazing views. Having a meals(especially breakfast) at the hotel restaurants was priceless. The hotel owner is very helpful and friendly. Be prepared to hike a bit to get to the hotel. Don't hike to village from down the road it is far and high. You need a bus to get to the village first. Then hike to the hotel. I booked only one night but it was not enough. You need at least two nights at rice terraces to enjoy the experience and relax and enjoy the view. I feel I rushed little bit by staying only one night.
6.3 Good
Pros: Pancakes for breakfast Pick up and drop off to bus station, airport efficient and safe Brasero when it is cold in the restaurant The view from the terrasse
