Pros: Traveling with my finance to watch my son's State track competition, and we arrived late evening and were greeted by a super friendly and fun staff member who really made us feel welcome and comfortable. The location was easy to find and had a wonderful river view. The room was clean and the bed relaxing. I would enjoy coming back for a longer stay as we could only be there for one evening. Well worth the visit. I highly recommend staying here.

Pros: The place had just been through a natural disaster but you couldn't tell at all. Friendly staff and I brought my dogs, so the pet friendly policy was my favorite par. Pretty sure the band Phish was there nutty I can't say for certain. Definitely saw Chris Kuroda mulling about. Good times.

Pros: The security measures the hotel put in place for a chaotic weekend was much appreciated. They ensured they had a full staff of police officers. The friendly and courteous staff was also great; they were the only people who weren't obnoxious or drunk that I encountered that weekend. The food was great, the bartenders were on top of their game. Excellent staff.
Cons: The things I didnt like I about my stay in Jacksonville are strictly related to the way the policemen had the traffic flowing; none of them knew what the officer at the next light was doing, so o spent about 1.5 hours trying to get to my hotel room. Parking was also a nightmare and was frustrating that it was not suggested to pre-pay for parking upon making the reservation. It wouldn't have mattered, however; because the lot near the hotel was overbooked.

Pros: It has/is being remodeled. The new decor is beautiful. Rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. Like how bright the hallways are at night. Front desk was very nice and professional. Check in and out was quick. We did not use or even go to the pool or restaurants as we were only there for one night. Location is great. Walking distance to restaurants and the Florida Theatre.
Cons: I/we were confused with the entrance. Is the main entrance facing the garage side of the street? If so the entrance isn't appealing. No one there to help. Large glass doors are heavy when you're carrying luggage. No automatic door.

Pros: The staff is very friendly and go above and beyond. They are amazing at what they do. The hotel gift shop is very over priced. $5.50 for one water. There isn't anything to do other then the pool and the beach is 30 minutes away. Not too far but still have to get there especially if you choose not to rent a car and pay their $15 per day charge to park it there. Restaurant food is good, but limited selections. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana because the AST sorority girls were having an event there and were smoking all night in their rooms. Staff were very quick to try to stop it and spray the hallways and rooms. The event floors are very large and theres a lot of event rooms to choose from with a mail room up there and business center. Beautiful hotel, but expensive and kind of boring other then the bars inside because the location.
Cons: Expensive necessities. Expensive parking. Restaurant menu is very limited. Walk way that goes through the hotel outside behind the restaurant I believe is where it's located, has no lighting. The Wifi sucks horribly. Constant disconnecting even the people that paid for extra wifi had problems.

Cons: There wasn't anything really "special" about the hotel. I didn't appreciate having to pay for parking when I was already spending that much money per night. The food was overpriced for what it was - go to one of the restaurants in the landing and you will get better food for the same price.

Cons: Trouble during check in...computer trouble. Could only give me one key card instead of two. Pool was completely closed due to renovations. Wish i would've been told that before booking! The keycard to my room NEVER worked in the parking garage. Every time I wanted to go in or out or the parking garage, the card reader did not work and I had to go get an attendant. The cleanliness of the bathroom, the tub in particular, upon check in was mediocre at best. For the price I paid, I expected much better. Next time I'll save some money and stay in the Hampton Inn just across the river.

Pros: A very nice one night stay for a weekend concert. The Hyatt is very close to both the Veterans Arena and the stadium which makes at least the arena a walkable distance. The hotel is nice but showing some signs of wear and tear. All the staff we encountered were extremely friendly.
Cons: On a related note, pets have no place in any hotel, in my opinion. There were numerous dogs throughout the hotel and dog barking woke my wife up early in the morning. That kind of disruption would not be tolerated in a guest. This is not only a Hyatt problem-every hotel I've stayed at in the last five years is guilty.

Pros: Professionalism from all front of the house staff. Pet friendly!!! Superb dine-in experience. Great room configuration with a view. Fitness center free weights and resistance machines were great. While I've always respected the Hyatt brand and been a guest several time I've been a long-time Marriott member because of the range, and availability, of brands they offer. I may need to reconsider my loyalty after this latest visit. I secured two rooms to accommodate my parents, sister, me and my wife after a very long day at the Mayo clinic. Turned out to be just what the "doctor ordered" for all parties.
Cons: My wife encountered a front desk staff member with a poor attitude during the night shift around 3am. She observed the young lady interact with several guests in a way that indicated she clearly did not want to be there or be helpful.

Pros: All the staff were very friendly, welcoming, attentive and accommodating. I love the warm cookies at the front desk, along with hot chocolate. Breakfasts were great, one of the best I've had. Very convenient. Room was clean and comfortable bedding, with a microwave and fridge. Great location, easy to find, within walking distance to my conference, and centrally located, close to the Landing. Definitely would stay here again. I would recommend this hotel.

Pros: Room was very clean and comfortable. Staff very attentive and friendly to folks during breakfast. Made sure that breakfast area and tables were kept clean throughout. No shortages. I observed staff being particularly helpful to those customers that were elderly. Very nice to see.

Cons: There was hair on the towels and stains on the floor that looked like something had spilled and no one cleaned it up. Cabinets were dusty as though they had not been cleaned in years. Alarm clock was sticky. No hotel bar. Business center is in the same place as lobby. And, inexplicably, the hotel blasts pop music at a loud volume through all hours of the day and night in the drive through in the front of hotel.

Cons: I was incredibly disappointed by the over all state of the hotel, withholding two things. The lobby was gorgeous and the staff were all wonderful, but everything else was like a “pig in lipstick.” Walking down the hallway, from the elevator, my husband and I walked into a cloud of smoke - cigarette and marijuana. One of our lights didn’t work in our room. The air conditioner unit was just covered with a facade, without clear instructions on how to operate the A/C. The wall A/C control did not work. The finish in our bathtub was peeling. The tub didn’t drain while showering, so I was forced to stand ankle deep mucky water. There was hair in our bathroom sink upon arrival. The carpet was peeling up by each of the door frames. The worst was when we were trying to go to sleep. Cigarette smoke was coming through our windows and or our hallway door. I am not allergic, but I am highly opposed to the smell. All in all, I love Hilton Hotels, but this particular one was not up to par.

Pros: Ease of proximity to concert events; Like being in the building with a major restaurant which is always first-class...Ruth Chris... Suggest you consider a shuttle bus (perhaps WITH a small pay rate) both "to and from" major concerts which happen quite often. That would be a perk for your hotel, and it it were a "reservation only" situation, then that would be fine...That would top having to hail a cab or other options which can be kind of stressful. Truly a dump. Air conditioning controls didn’t work, there was water damage in my room with visible mold, damaged furnishings, gated garage that still felt unsafe and would never let you out without calling the front desk… the list goes on and on. Should not be a Hilton, and in fact, may not be fit for occupancy. Choose the Hampton down the street, Marriott next door, or Hyatt across the river.

Cons: There was a suspicious looking man outside and a car was getting towed when I was checking in. That was already making me feel uncomfortable. The hallways were dark and my room was all the way at the end of the hallway which made me feel trapped. The elevator was old and rickety and very small. The room was smelly. The kitchen area looked dreadful. I did not feel safe so I immediately checked out 10 mins after I checked in. My reservations were prepaid for a three night stay and non refundable. I didn't care. I would never recommend this hotel to any unaccompanied woman.
