Susana who checked us in could not of been more friendly & helpful, always smiling. The fab service continued around the bar area & by Juan again st breakfast. Nothing is too much trouble. The villa is beautiful & we thoroughly enjoyed the chilled out vibe around the gorgeous pool

This resort boasts a privileged location next to the famous motor racing circuit, half an hour away from the beach and just 10 minutes from the city airport.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms excellent breakfast and the golf course was in excellent condition short drive into Jerez with excellent restaurants on offer
Cons: Extra golf charges Additional fee if you want to play golf before 12, expensive buggies
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very relaxing place
Cons: Place is infested with mosquitoes, cockroaches and wasps. The open buffet was disappointing
4.2 Okay
Pros: Villa was roomy and comfortable. Breakfast great choice
Cons: Location terrible, cost a fortune in taxi’s! At time of booking, paddle tennis was listed as a facility, but there were NO paddle tennis courts!!! Reception staff not helpful or friendly. Pool towel policy a joke, we were expected to keep towels until the next day. On arrival no help with luggage and reception did not appear to be expecting us. Requested iron and iron board which never arrived . We were so unhappy we checked out 3 days early of a 7 day paid stay, no offer of any refund, we were happy to be transferred to sister hotel in Seville, but we were not accommodated in any way.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Barcelo Montecastillo is a Perfect place I liked everything
7.1 Good
Pros: Staff was helpful especially at the restaurant. Sophie particular was very professional and friendly with our kids, thank you!
Cons: SPA facilities could be improved by extending time opening and teaching your staff to speak English. Also you might need to get more people during busy period as I wasn’t able to book massage, as it was already fully booked. Furniture in the lobby looks a bit dated and well as menu in the bar- you need to updated it according latest trends.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Pleasant helpful staff. Food very good. Facilities especially golf very good. Pretty setting and gardens.
Cons: Sounds from reception area heard in room despite being moved.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: 4th time staying at this hotel. I love it. Great facilities and pleasant people.
Cons: It's very quiet. If you don't like quiet then it's probably not for you.
7.5 Good
Pros: Relaxed atmosphere
Cons: Food Bed View from the room
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful golf course and resort outside of Jerez. It is beside the Jerez racetrack and sometimes you could hear the buzz of the racecars but it did not bother us much. The facilities for golfing are top..a great practice area and a beautiful course that is very well maintained. The main hotel is well appointed and caters to the needs of mainly golf clients but also has many other extras - pools, sports clinic, spa, etc. We stayed in one of the villas which was comfortable, albeit the decor was all a bit bland. It was very clean and handy to get to the pool area. There's a wonderful children's water play and nursery which wasn't yet open for the season but looks great for families. The food was very good..a large and plentiful breakfast and lunch buffet with a la carte options didn't disappoint. Air conditioning worked well. Beds very comfy!
Cons: In the villa, many things were provided but for example there were no bowls, no dish soap, no salt and pepper.. a few things were missing. The decor of the living//dining room is pretty bland. No artwork.. a lot of empty beige shelves- all a bit blah.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Golf course could do with some TLC.

Pros: Convenient central location and very clean and comfortable rooms. Helpful and friendly staff. Better breakfast than expected- and proper pots of tea!!
Cons: Access with the car was a bit tricky - if you are planning to use the available parking, make sure you ask for directions to the parking area.

Pros: This hotel has the wow factor. Everything was perfect from our magnificent room to the great staff and the superb location. We were staying one night as part of a trip to see the Andalucían Horse Show. Highly highly hugely recommended.

Pros: Breakfast, rooms where nice and clean.
Cons: It was a nice hotel but the internet was horrible!! So it was hard to get work done.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect. Thank you.
4.2 Okay
Cons: I travel weekly because of my job, so I would say I have a bit of experience in hotels. No doubts that this was the worst breakfast in my life in a 4star hotel. When you chose not to offer a self service breakfast and you prefer to serve on the table, you must be sure you're providing a good solution. Here we got some toast with tomato sauce (not bad, actually), industrial jams and yogurt and a few things else. It was poor in quantity, quality and variety. It was so disappointing and upsetting that the second day we prefer to complete our breakfast in another cafeteria. About the hotel: they pretend to be a charming palace but then you find Ikea lamps. Our room was on the 2nd floor and the stairs were really uncomfortable (no lift up to 2nd floor). Wifi not always well working. American express cards are not accepted. And the staff never smiled at us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was luxurious and the staff were fantastic.
Cons: The bath didn't have a shower curtain which made it difficult to use the shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location is great with a common parking house nearby and with a short walking distance to the cathedral/castle area, restaurants and bodegas. The staff very positive and friendly. Clean room and a well-equipped bathroom.
Cons: The breakfast has a small variety of different food. On the tables there was a card stating that the customer is able to order other food as well - there should have been a short menu of available breakfast extras.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Room, breakfast and staff!
Cons: Fredge empty
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really helpful. Room and hotel furnishings were unique and stylish.
Cons: My room faced an internal courtyard. Shame I didn’t have a window to the outside but I think that’s the style of these old buildings.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: would have liked some fresh coffee at breakfast not some smokey charcoal tasting liquid out of a machine, we didn't have breakfast again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Quiet. Good value for money. Spotless.
7.1 Good
Cons: They could do so much more with this hotel - they need to make more of an effort given the great location. There was a party on the terrace (one of the main reasons we booked the hotel) and it felt like the guests were put in second place as a result.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Stylish place, free glass of wine, friendly staff. Nice room and bathroom
Cons: Can’t control air con in the room, feeds in automatically but didn’t cool room sufficiently. Shower could be stronger pressure.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We liked the attention and the kindness that all the staff showed us. The location was terrific and we could start our city exploration very easily. Of course the building itself and the decoration just enchanted us.....
Cons: Some services that are self-evident like changing the bedsheets we had to ask for. The breakfast was very expensive without a reason... The bathtub was nice but not practical.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean traditional hotel
Cons: Some refurbishment at hotel so some areas cordoned off
Overview Reviews
The 4-star Barceló Jerez Montecastillo & Convention Center is part of the Barceló Montecastillo Golf & Sports Resort. Its location is ideal for a pleasant stay near the motor racing circuit, just 10 minutes from the airport and city of Jerez.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Upon arrival we received and upgrade to a larger room with a nice balcony in the main hotel, the staff were very helpful. the beds were exceptionally comfortable, with probably the best pillows we've ever had on holiday. €20 taxi into Jerez itself and walking distance to the Racing Circuit.
Cons: more staff in the terrace would have been better, they were rushed off their feet due the large amount of Communion parties, the large pool didn't have any water in it, although the small pool was more than adequate.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, staff
Cons: Food a little cold.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect for visiting the Circuit at Jerez. Really nice hotel and very helpful staff, Breakfast as always was really good and enjoyable sitting outside on the terrace. Bar staff very helpful and attentive.
Cons: Na
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Buffet was excellent and beds were very comfortable. Staff were amazing.
Cons: There was no bar at the adult pool, even a small one would have been great. There were also no sockets beside the bed which I thought would have been useful.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing really
Cons: Beds are separate two single beds no queen or king size bed available . Buffet food wasn’t good at all The swimming pool in construction not accessible No kids entertainment or clubs as advised Rooms very small and balcony quite dangerous The curtains are not blind curtains therefore it’s extremely hard to sleep !
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Loved the pool and the children's water park. Also, great buffet (ample selection).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the fact that it has a pool for adult. The breakfast is amazing, specially the smoothies

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, nice accommodation, nearby parking. Actualiteit we lives everything.
Cons: Everything was good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The sign of a really good stay is when you feel sad to go and we did. We loved Jerez and we loved this hotel. We had spent two nights in Seville, travelled by train to Cadiz for three nights and then arrived in Jerez by train for 2 nights. We wished we had spent longer here. We found the hotel and the city so relaxing and peaceful. Alejandro the owner provided a wonderful welcome and we love his enthusiasm for the hotel, Jerez and sherry. All the team there are lovely. The hotel is beautiful, our room whilst small was lovely and so quiet. We loved the roof terrace and watching the swallows chasing and swooping. The patio is full of colour from the plants and flowers and has a lovely view of the cathedral which looks incredible at night when it is lit up. It is lovely to have breakfast there on the morning. The hotel is central to so many things and it is so easy to get around. We took the sherry tour around Lustau and that was really worthwhile and informative. We will definitely return to Jerez and La Fonda and La Fonda Barranco.
Cons: There wasn't anything we didn't like, but for us we would have preferred a softer mattress.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Alejandro is a very hospitable and friendly host who makes a stay especially pleasant and comfortable, and shared some very valuable tips and gave a brief history of sherry, which we really enjoyed. Communication and check-in/out was very easy. The location is perfect, just 3 minutes walk from the main cathedral - in the heart of the city. The room was clean, comfy, a bit small, but stylishly decorated and with two charming French balconies. Very nice toiletries in the bathrooms. The breakfast was good and was on a rooftop terrace with a beautiful view. Parking was available for a reasonable fee. The service was splendid. Lots of info in the hotel (brochures, leaflets etc.). Wish we stayed longer.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff very helpful and perfect location
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: would recommend beautiful accommodation
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, cleanliness, friendly staff, nice rooms with a typical Andalusian style.
Cons: The breakfast is in a very tiny area. Nothing major, just wished it was a little bigger but the construction doesn't allow that, so is understandable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Staff very friendly. Lovely rooftop terrace and good breakfast
Cons: Room was in the ground floor so was nice and cool but it had no external window and was quite dark.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Check in times not consistent across platforms or communications.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with a characterful interior. We only stayed one night but it was a really nice place and not too far from the cathedral and the main square. We only had a small/standard double but I imagine some of the bigger rooms would be even better!
Cons: Nothing!

Pros: This hotel is delightful! From the moment you step through the door into the plant filled patio reception area, guests are made to feel very welcome. Juan was very knowledgeable about local places of interest and restaurant recommendations. My room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. The hotel location is excellent only a few minutes walk from the historic centre. Breakfast is not served in the hotel, instead you can go to a nice cafe just around the corner.
Cons: I liked everything about this hotel.

Pros: The hotel was beautiful, lovely and clean and the hotel owner was very helpful. My friend and I were delighted with the stay. Take some earplugs for the "darling" cockrels on a morning. (Not a problem as it is a lovely sound).
Cons: Nothing that we could fault about it.
8.8 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Noisy-thin walls
7.9 Good
Pros: The place is very nice, very clean, and the staff are friendly. If you like to enjoy a quiet place and feel the historical ambiance of the town, then you will enjoy this place. But if you’re a solo traveler who’s looking for a lively place where you can meet people and a staff that can answer your questions, then this place is not for you. I would recommend adding offering maps to the visitors, giving some information about the area and what to do and see, and maybe some evening activities for the guests. However, the experience in general was very good.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Virtually next to the main square. Breakfast on site.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good position
Cons: The structure is aesthetically old, no privacy thanks to the old doors, no towels to put on the floor outside the shower, terrible shampoo and shower gel, staff not so kind. I’ll not return here.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Simple very clean and spacious rooms situated in a beautiful old town house. Lady who received us was very friendly and helpful. A very good location to visit the city and we would come back without hesitation. Very good value for money.
Cons: A little bit of noise from scooters from the nearby streets at night but this is not the hotel's fault and the hotel itself is very quiet.

Pros: The rooms were amazing and so big. Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Cons: pool wasnt great good for a cool down dip. spa and jacuzzi wasnt open, had weird times and seemed to be via appointment only so cant just go in.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location ok. 10 mins walk to plaza de espana.
Cons: Beds were very hard. Room was incredibly dark. Two small windows which shed little light. Decor drab and outdated. Bar - hit & miss if it was going to be manned. And closed at 9pm. Pool tiny!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very nice although the room we booked was not as per the photos we were there for one night so it didn’t matter. The pool was very good with nice comfy loungers. The room was a good size, and we walked to town from the hotel and to the Andalucian Horse show. There were car parks on the property which was a bonus. The breakfast was good.
Cons: We had a room equipped for people in a wheelchair not what we booked.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location was great
Cons: Pool photograph creatively taken, pool very small. There is only 8 double sun beds and those were in very poor condition, requiring replacement. The hotel looked tired in need of updating particularly the entrance which displays a very worn red carpet. Staff not particularly friendly. More resembles a 3* than a 4*
5.0 Okay

Cons: Bed was horrendously hard and uncomfortable.

Pros: A very comfortable hotel in a great location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property was located well within the city and had underground car parking facilities. The room was spacious with all facilities available and added benefit of small terrace.
Cons: Hotel fitted all our requirements
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in city centre, nice room with big bathroom, service on reception was really good. Parking in hotel garage for 11€ is valuable, because, there is big issue to find public parking spot in Jerez.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Nice Hotel, clean and in a good location, I think parking for a Motorcycle at 8 euros at night is expensive, as two bikes only used one bike space. Two bikes in One bike space 16 euros.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: great location in the old town of Jerez.Friendly staff, good sized room and bathroom. We had a very comfortable stay & enjoyed the buffet breakfast and used the car park which was very handy.
Cons: The coffee machine was a little difficult, we didn’t know how it worked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet area, safe at night very pleasant staff.
Cons: Pillows not very comfy
6.3 Good
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Double was 2 twins pushed together, it’s not the same thing. There was quite a bit of noise from the corridor and neighbours, not good soundproofing. The parking was subject to availability, so a bit of a worry if we would get one or not.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, facilities, cleanliness, roof terrace.
Cons: Marie Angeles is a delight
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location and a stylish, clean family room.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I had a third (top) floor twin room with a small terrace. The room itself was very spacious, very nicely decorated, and with superb remote controlled air conditioning - certainly at the very top end of 3 star AND it came with a kettle. The bathroom was also of a good size with a walk in shower. The terrace had a decked floor, was totally private and was equipped with a shower. The whole unit was immaculately cleaned, as were the corridors and the reception area. The hotel is about a 15 minute walk to the cathedral and the Alcazar, a few minutes away from the main shopping streets with numerous bars and (decent) restaurants, again, minutes away. The railway station 12 minutes away (pulling hand luggage). I did not take breakfast so cannot comment. The three receptionists I spoke to were all very friendly, helpful and had good English
Cons: Nothing comes to mind.

Pros: hotel is a little bit far from the city centre, but it was excellent for us as we used it as a base to explore Cadiz and Seville as well as three days at Circuito De Jerez. Free tea and coffee 24 hours is a lovely touch! Staff were so helpful, recommending restaurants in city centre, printing off train timetables and giving us directions.
Cons: Breakfast was continental which I expected but it could have been better. Bar area un-exciting and not a lot of choice of drinks.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Clean and friendly staff, good price
Cons: The location was an easy 20 minute walk away from the main areas for food
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely rooms and food service from local take away less than 30 minutes. Lovely receptions and clean nice stay.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Breakfast was simple but adequate, replenished regularly so late risers still had a good choice available to them
Cons: First room offered to us absolutely stank of stale cigarette smoke, cigarette burns clearly seen on bedside table. We were shown another room which did not smell bad but again there were cigarette burns on the bedside table. Clearly the hotel does not adhere to their no smoking policy.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly and it was useful having the use of the underground car park.
Cons: We would have liked an in room safe, to save carrying out valuables with us. The breakfast offering was adequate, a bit more choice of cereal and prepared fruit would have been appreciated. The pathway outside the hotel was dimly lit.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was spotlessly clean!! Amazing.
Cons: Pictures of the views are very impressive but in reality is not.

6.2 Good
Pros: Well, the price was right, and they had last-minute availability. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Pros: Abundant breakfast
Cons: Need more staff, only 1 lady for many guests, nobody verified room numbers
7.9 Good
Pros: Pool
Cons: Pool bar should be open during the entire afternoon
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean, comfortable and large, staff very helpful and nice. Hotel parking is available for free, in case of no free parking space street parking is available. Location looks very safe. Close to the hotel is a gas station which is very practical when you are returning your car in Jerez airport. Airport is 10 Minutes from the hotel. Absolute top is the pool with a bar. It is awesome after a hot summer day. City center is 20 Minutes by walk what is still comfortable. I recommend this hotel.
Cons: View from my hotel room could be nicer.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff on reception were friendly.
Cons: The hotel is a €7 taxi ride to the old town. The hotel needs a repaint and refurb throughout. No coffee machine in the room. Breakfast not included in price. Nowhere on site to get lunch. Didn’t try dinner as we went out. The pool staff on day one kept coming and going. I think you have to hire towels.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! I think I accidentally had the Best room in the house! Huge bed, huge balcony, huge room. The bathroom is gorgeous and property very clean and comfortable. Enjoyed spending time at the pool. Also very close to everything in the town.
Cons: Being Aussie I would’ve liked access to the kitchen all day but honestly can’t complain, when in Spain. One must go by the siesta. The pool was a great distraction until everyone came back to work.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely clean hotel, great helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely. Pool lovely
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We stayed one night at the end of our holiday touring southern Spain. Was greeted by a very friendly and professional hotel staff member . Really appreciated the free welcome drinks by the pool. The bedroom was perfect and very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent . We didn’t go into Jerez but used our night to drive to Cádiz which is less that a 25 minute drive away. Well worth a visit .
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Locaction and price
Cons: Somewhat old fashioned and worn interior
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel with friendly staff. Pool was a good size, lovely and quiet plenty of sunbeds available and pool side bar. Couple of good restaurants nearby and 30 min easy walk into centre of Jerez. Rooms were comfortable and a good size. Air conditioning worked well and there was a small fridge in the room.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing,
Cons: Appalling experience. this hotel should not be open. four stars? It has two members of staff on a Sunday. the 'garden' is a non-existent joke. the pool bar had no staff there - you had to ring a bell,. Reception staff lied consistently.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good value for money. Location out of town but handy for the riding school and had parking. Rooms big and quite. Bed comfy and pillows comfy too. Ideal if not wanting to be in amongst it.
Cons: The pool area was very old and messy - needs alot of work.

Pros: Great swimming pool. Good hub for south Andalusia.
Cons: Breakfast was good but was same every day.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The front desk staff staff were welcoming and friendly, spoke English and were very helpful. We had a good laugh about living in foreign countries. We had food served at the beautiful pool and the food was hot and the drinks were cold and served by a friendly waitress. The room was comfortable and having a bath tub was a plus. Be warned the air conditioning doesn't work with the window open! The food in the restaurant was good albiet expensive but that's hotels isn't it?
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, nice breakfast.
Cons: Flies at pool
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for us, as we were attending an event at the Circuit nearby. The staff were very friendly and generally helpful. The buffet breakfast had a good choice and the food was fresh and kept stocked during the breakfast period.
Cons: Bolster pillows with no obvious alternatives The hairdryer in the bathroom was one of the old fashioned, hard wired ones that just get hot and don't really dry your hair. When I mentioned it to the Receptionist she told me I could have asked for one from Reception as they are in the process of replacing them - it would have been useful to have been informed of that in advance or in the information in the room. The restaurant were unable to cater for us (Vegetarian) unless we wanted salad every night we were there. Very disappointing - for example a vegetarian paella or pasta with a non meat/fish sauce should not have been too much trouble but it was
6.7 Good
Pros: Service at the restaurant! The kitchen staff and waiters agreed to stay open for longer at night so my friends and I could have a late dinner after completing a tough triathlon in Jerez that night. Thank you so much!!
Cons: The reception supervisor/manager! Very poor experience by the counter when checking-in. We were informed the pool is undergoing maintenance and is closed. Therefore we asked for a lil discount or breakfast included to which the manager replied “No” and that if we wanted we could cancel our stay! Outrageous!!! She should really get some extra training on how to provide a great customer service and improve her communication skills.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hotel is nice looking, clean old fashioned accommodation outside of Jerez next to the motor race track. On the website I selected a room with a double bad with the option as pay at the property as you arrive and non refundable booking. The hotel has a pool access as well this was one of the main reason we selected this accommodation for our stay. After the booking, the money has been taken from my account immediately and got a notification about double bed is not available. Upon arrival we were informed also about that the pool is not available. When we asked for a compensation the manager said there is no option for compensation but we can cancel the booking if we don't like the situation. The tone and the behavior of the manager does not show a 4 starts hotel standard and we were very surprised about this reaction. As we arrived for a sport event started 4 hours later we didn't want to start looking for an other hotel so finally we could negotiate a 10 % discount. Even this was not a nice experience at the beginning the staff was very kind and helpful at the bar and the restaurant. The food is great and they were flexible to wait us when we arrived back later from the race, but also overpriced a little knowing there is not other restaurants nearby to have a meal. The hotel sitting in a quite area, but as it is close to the motor race it was noisy on Saturday afternoon.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfetct. A hotel in the deep countryside offers an amazing ambiance, well-beiing and very nice facilities. Staff very kind.
Cons: Nothing indeed!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great position for the airport
Cons: Rather expensive restaurant
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I liked the room layout, the pool and the cleanliness of the whole hotel. Breakfast was also beautiful.
Cons: I didnt like that in your room they don't provide basic things such as a kettle and mugs but yet you have a hob with no pans to use anyways. Some sort of facilities to make a hot drink would of made it a better experience for us.

7.9 Good
Pros: The place is really nice. Everything is clean and in good shape and it looks very traditionally Spanish. The hosts were extraordinary friendly and we had the feeling to be very welcome. The breakfast is 'clear and concise' but it's served personally and is absolutely appropriate.
Cons: The only bad thing was the shower in our room that was old and dodgy. Something was dripping out of the ceiling and the shower head nozzles were partly black where they had once been white. It was clean though.

7.1 Good
Pros: Breakfast is very good with chef cooking various dishes to order. General cleanliness of public areas very good.
Cons: Air conditioning in rooms is now very poor and the air conditioning system needs upgrading for a 4* hotel. There is also an issue with flies around the pool although I'm not sure what can be done about that.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A bit bigger hotel offering very professional service in all fields. The room was smaller and not easy to stay even for 2 people because very narrow corridor next to the bed. Really wide breakfasi intcluding special offer from the cook (eggs, pancakes, etc.). Very helpful staff offering even printing of our boarding pass free of charge. Free parking in the hotel's parking area, sufficinet Wifi.
7.5 Good
Cons: Although I am a loyal customer, who has been coming to the Sherry Park for nearly 20 years, with family and friends, I was extremely surprised and annoyed when I asked to cancel a one night booking as we had nowhere to put our pet - my mistake I admit - and I was told, quite rudely that I could not cancel my booking. One would have thought given the thousands that myself and my friends and family have spent over the years that a little friendly leniency could be shown. But no, I was shown in no uncertain terms that this is a profit first business. So I shall take my business elsewhere and advise others to do the same.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice spacious room with little balcony to sit out on. Helpful staff, good breakfast, nice pool, good cafe area next to pool with reasonably priced food and drinks.
Cons: Not very central, although it was a pleasant enough walk into town centre.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent Pool Area in beautiful gardens with nice bar/snack area. My only criticism would be that I think there could be some chairs around the pool as it is not always comfortable to sit on a sunbed if you have back problems.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great breakfast Amnesties (Outdoor and indoor pool, sauna & gym) Free parking
Cons: Bed was too hard to get a restful night Overall furniture in the room looked a little older
8.3 Excellent

Cons: Tea and coffee making facilities.

Pros: Everything. This is a great hotel. The service and staff are superb. The public areas are just beautiful. The pool is lovely, quiet and relaxing. Bar food on the terrace is very good and well priced. Room servicing is very good. We absolutely loved this place and will be back.
Cons: Very little, if anything! Perhaps the pool could have opened a little earlier on a Sunday morning and air conditioning in the gym- but apart from that I would struggle to say!

Pros: The room was light and airy with a good view of the pool.
