It takes 20-25 to just get to the train when walking straight without the train shouldn't be taking any longer? In addition, our (checked-in) car seats were not transferred and never made it to our final destination, so we had nothing to put the kids in for the ride from the final airport."

I had a back pain. Boarding started with the First Class and Business Class first. It took an additional 20 minutes for Economy class to start boarding. The line was very, very long and interfered with other travelers in the airport terminal. "boarding area to Frankfurt was cramped" When we arrived in Denver, only five Custom Agents were on duty to process our arrival passports, although there are 14 control stations at Denver. It appeared as though the Custom Agents were not aware of the arrival of the Lufthansa 747 nor the one that followed. All other Custom in Europe were much more efficient and move people through quickly. What a bad first impress made by the USA Customs people."

We were seated in the last row of the plane with painfully little legroom — even for two women of relatively small stature. The plane was not equipped with modern conveniences of operational wifi, music, or any other means of entertainment over the ten-hour flight. We were nearly an hour late to depart, but were unable to hear anything over the speakers regarding the cause for the delay, nor could we hear any of the flight attendants' safety instructions. What we could hear, however, was the surprisingly loud and nearly constant DINNNGGGG of the passengers' call buttons as they summoned the flight attendants. Because the flight was an overnighter, we attempted to sleep, but it was nearly impossible to do so due to the noise. I had earplugs in and could still hear the chimes, which were positioned right above our seats and made for an unpleasant experience and cranky travelers. The food was subpar as expected, but it would've been nice to be surprised with something resembling a fresh piece of fruit or vegetable. The flight crew was polite and one of the attendants took pity on us and offered a complimentary shot of whiskey, which partially alleviated the discomfort of the experience. That man is a saint and we surely hope he is better taken care of by this airline than we were. Overall a miserable experience. Will definitely rethink flying both Lufthansa and Air Canada in the future."

Resulted a delay of offloading by roughly 20 minutes. Was ultimately found in the second wave of luggage, and witnessed baggage handlers tossing luggage carelessly onto cart floor. Nothing was damaged but was annoyed at lack of communication and overall disorganization."

Cons: "Background info: we flew from Dublin to Toronto (Aer Lingus) and we were supposed to fly Toronto to Los Angeles on American Airlines; however, we had a British Airways flight number for both of these flights. We missed our connecting flight in Toronto with American Airlines (we had a 2 hour layover) despite landing on-time (de-boarded a few minutes late). I suggest avoiding the Toronto airport ALWAYS as every passenger must pick up his/her luggage even if you have a connecting flight, and then re-check the baggage with the next flight. Apparently the baggage handlers were on strike and some of the customs agents as well which added to the delays. Well, after going through Canadian customs and picking up our luggage (which took quite awhile) we arrived at the American Airlines ticketing kiosk about 45 minutes before our flight. The computer told us we were too late for this flight and to see a representative. We proceeded to wait in line for an American Airlines representative only to be told this was Aer Lingus' fault (we had just flown with them); even though we had a BA flight number.. After searching for an Aer Lingus representative we were finally told they were probably all on the Aer Lingus flight that was currently about to leave. An Aer Lingus representative was paged to the ticketing counter (took well over 30 minutes for anyone to show up) and what proceeded was an argument (for well over an hour) between British Airways and Aer Lingus representatives about whose responsibility it was to re-book us. After an hour at least of poor customer service, we were finally rebooked by British Airways on the last flight to LAX (on Air Canada). Moral of the story: avoid Toronto and fly direct."

The boarding process from Barcelona was a very long and arduous process as they have to check that everyone has a covid test. There were no explanations about what was happening. They didn't really even announce boarding. The flight itself wasn't bad. I got the cheapest ticket so there wasn't food included. So, I brought food onto the plane.

With advance notice, they were unable to provide a meal that would not contain bell peppers, to which I am allergic. On the plane, both meal options contained bell peppers. Surprisingly, the ingredient lists were not available to flight attendants or passengers, and we were only aware of their presence because of seeing them, or having my allergic reaction (which I did) after avoiding the visible ones. The passenger in front of me put his seat in full recline for the entire 10 hour flight, including about 30 minutes when the seat was unoccupied. This put his seat about six inches in front of my chin and made it impossible for me to view the entertainment screen. It also made it difficult to get into and out of my seat. Several of the toilets had clear fluid covering the floor. I did not want to know is this was water or something else. Although our connecting flight in Miami went from gate E21 to gate E30, it took two hours (and 3,000 steps per FitBit) to get there because of being required to claim our luggage, leave security, recheck the bags, and then re-enter security. Our tickets did not provide for TSA-PRE despite having provided our known traveler number in advance. Many notices and directions were only available in Spanish. As they are based in a Spanish speaking country, this is perfectly reasonable, but their services are marketed to English speaking countries and it was a problem for me as a predominantly English-only speaker."

I was unable to pay online or on the phone to upgrade the short leg of my return trip without raising cost of my whole trip from USD $1250 to over USD $4000! Also was not able to choose seats ahead of time online or on the phone. Even in the 3rd row it was difficult to fit my thigh length in the seat pitch. I had to sit with my legs splayed and with one leg in the aisle. My leg was constantly hit by luggage, pax, and cabin crew. It is critical to me that I can physically fit into the space between my seat and the one in front. With the short seat pitch emergency evacuation would be very difficult for me and the other pax. Since I need a wheel chair I can no longer request the exit row as I have done for 45 years."

Pros: "The in flight movie selection was great. They were generous with providing us wine and complementary in flight entertainment . Didn't have to pay extra to check our bags."
Cons: "The food wasn't very good. But at least they provided us with some. We paid extra foe exit row seats and they allowed someone to sir across from my husband in the flight attendant seat they use during landing and take off. He sat there the entire flight. He was tall with long legs and took away from my husbands leg room which is why we paid extra for the exit row seats. Not sure if he worked for the airline as he was dressed in regular street clothes but annoying all the same."
Cons: "No complimentary drinks, not even a glass of water. Check in was horrendous. I pre purchased luggage Check in but when I arrived in airport the automated system doesn't like to that piece of data. Didn't know that so was in a long line to use automated check in when I was supposed to be in an even longer line to have service personnel check me in. So finally after standing in both lines I did get checked in......."

Cons: "While making the reservation online it said that you could declare your luggage when you do online check in 24 hours before your flight and the charge would be 15 euro's per bag or if you wait and do it at the airport it would be 30 euros per bag. I tried numerous times to do the check in before our flight and it kept saying unable to complete. I explained this to the agent at the airport and he still charge us 30 euros per bag."

Cons: "Boarding was chaotic, dependent on verbal cues being shouted by an employee without any amplification. Several families who had booked their tickets together were randomly assigned seats in the plane. You would think that group bookings would make an effort, especially when young children are involv"

Cons: "My baggage didn't make it to Austin. I don't know when I will have it back. Not really professional baggage re clame handling... The food made my tummy hurt and no choices. Sucks to buy entertainment after a 1000 dollar ticket price and I could only pay with cash on the plane."
Pros: "We got there with no safety issues. That is about all the good I can think of. Also a miracle our bags made it since the delay due to Condor made us miss our connection. The best part of the flights were when we switched to Luftansa controlled planes."
Cons: "Don't confuse their logo with Luftansa. They are far from it. Known for delays, disruption and breakdowns. Our flight was delayed 4-5 hours on the way to Europe because the food cart didn't fit. Then a delay of 2 hours on way back to US because 3 of the 6 bathrooms didn't work. Had to wait in this prison like gate with hardly any AC and then take a bus to the plane. DO YOUR RESEARCH. This airline survives on those who don't do their homework(Like me) and those who don't take others reviews seriously. Spend the extra money and get an airline that is consistent. Check out Condor's on time rate..yikes."

Cons: "Condor seems to take every opportunity to retell the customer that you’re flying cheap. Inadequate staff, grumpy stewardesses, horrid food and the older very cramped seat style. By the time we added surcharges for seats and luggage, we were already in the regular fare range of Lufthansa. Which we regretted not taking to Germany. Beware."
Pros: "The price, the schedule, the convenience of the airports they use. Online Checkin is a breeze, and they seem to be very good at making sure that luggage arrives with passengers. Because we arrived at the airport VERY early (2:30 AM) for a 3:40 PM flight (Eurail scheduling vagaries required this), we checked our bags at 6AM (the earliest possible time) and worried that they had WAY too much time to screw it up, but they didn't, and even if they had, we were going home! Thy did provide a bottle of water for each seat, which was nice. After a late start, we made up some time and landed only a few minutes late."
Cons: "I know it's not entirely the airlines fault, but the boarding process for this flight was byzantine. first, the gate was in the 'basement' of the terminal and you had to show your boarding pass to get into the gate area and then you couldn't leave - and the bathroom was outside the gate area. Then we waited for 25 minutes in line to get on the bus to take us to our aircraft after the 'last call' for boarding announcement was made. When they finally put us on the bus, it was another 10 minutes standing still, packed in like sardines, until the bus actually moved anywhere. I have NO idea where the plane was, but we drove and drove, and drove around the airfield until we finally pulled up at our plane. They had two boarding ramps up, one in the front and one in the back, and just told us that low row number should board from the front and high numbers from the rear, but they didn't tell us what the demarcation was. With seats in row 31, it turned out we were over the wing, pretty much dead center, so it didn't matter. It would have been nice to have a frame of reference though. Aside from that, the food was EH!, the service courteous and efficient, but not friendly, the seats cramped, the no-extra-cost entertainment insipid (except for the audio portion - they provided a huge assortment of tracks by a wide variety of artists in many genres). With my (brought with me) earbuds, I gave up on any video except the flight map and just listened to classical recordings to drown out the screaming babies in the next row and provide a pleasant background for snoozing."
Cons: "The distance between seats is so ridiculously small that I wonder how Condor can get away with that without getting sued. otherwise okay, but I won't recommend Condor to anybody unless they are extremely short."

This experience was the worst flight experience of my life and I am a veteran traveler through out the world. This airline reflects badly on Kayak!"

Cons: "Food was horrible, smallest most uncomfortable seats I've ever been on, overhead was too small for many bags (not mine) so we had to wait to have all of those gate checked, gate crew was clearly annoyed at the lack of organization and thusly quite curt, on board crew was pleasant, lights stayed on until well after midnight and once lights went off crew came to collect payment from guests, bank card not working for US issued cards, entertainment was poor (two movies and one of them a kids movie) that was free and expensive otherwise-- worst trans Atlantic air experience I have had"

Pros: "Lufthansa experience was very good, all around. No problems, friendly staff, in flight smack. On a short flight...very pleasant experienxe. Staff were really great. Condor was a different experience. Boarding was unpleasant because specific rows were called to board after everyone had already lined up. It was very unclear where people from. Thyo stand, as no staff were guiding this process. Another passenger became very rude when he felt i stepped in front of him in the mess of a line. Have staff guide this process, or having clearly marked places to stand, would be helpful. It would be nice to have a little more leg room, food that wasn't extremely cold (like it was nearly frozen), & larger movie selection included."

My husband, who is not a particularly tall person had his knees against the seat in the front. Frankfurt is an odd airport. I lost track of all the lines that we stood in. Had to pay for more selection on movies and TV."

The food was poor, no protein for the main meal and the second meal was served cold. I will never fly with Condor again, and will not recommend them to friends and family."

Cons: "Flightfrom Seattle to Munich was "delayed" by 21+ hours. Company refused to provide info on connections until we arrived in Munich, and then only after an unguided search for the Lufthansa (not condor) info desk elsewhere in the airport. The flight crew had a connections list, but refused to announce the info. The company agents on the US side were contractors who stood behind an empty counter. They didn't/couldn't turn on the airport computers to help, suggesting we guess or connections using the internet. After a full day's delay, I was only able to give my host a 1 hour heads up regarding my arrival time, inconveniencing her too. Unbelievably indifferent staff attitudes. Terrible service all around. Don't fly Condor, and consider avoiding Lufthansa for tolerating such awful treatment if their less-moneyed customers."
