Pros: It’s very simple hotel
Cons: The customer service at restaurant is very bad service.
4.0 Okay
Cons: We stayed for one night on 10th of May. As the reward of 5 star hotel in cambodia, the Thansur Sokha Hotel is definitely not qualified in terms of facilities and services that they provide at this moment because currently the hotel is only partially operating. Can you imagine when you walk into lobby that light is off? Can you imgaine that you can only choose very limited selection for meal ? (only 7 dishes that can choose) Can you believe that the dinner only have three table of guest but we need wait for 40 minutes to get food? Can you believe that the A/C switch is not working at all becaue the hotel take over the switches control from the central room? The management is totally a mess. They are not really to operate due to close business from Covid-19.

Pros: Good food
Cons: have only
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nice rooms, but the hotel itself is giant complex in the middle of national park where it should NOT be. It’s 5 star hotel but the servise and the stuff wasn’t good and helpfull at all. We were really disappointed and sad when we left.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staffs and breakfast were good.
Cons: Swimming pool and gym were poorly maintained.

7.0 Good
Pros: The sunsets were a daily gathering. River is so interesting to watch. Pool is great. We switched from a small room to the family room and enjoyed our room after the switch.
Cons: Room 9 We had looked at the pictures carefully but our room was not what we had imagined and the worst part is it was in a corridor so you had to keep the curtain drawn at all times,. Near reception and the bar so noisy and it is where people step away from the bar to answer their phone calls. Room 10 would be the same. We were finally able to pay to upgrade. When looking for accommodations look at the higher priced rooms to compare other areas. The river is wonderful to watch
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The facilities is good, there is kitchen and kitchenware in the private villa. A lot of facilities for children like kid pool, small football area and jumping net. Good view of river front and very spacious garden.
Cons: The mosquito net is almost all broken,so we cannot open the door neither the window, that is why it is really hot at the day time till evening and it is getting alright at the midnight. It is better for them if they can enhance the cleanliness because it is actually so poor. There are a lot of dust on the sofa and a lot of lizard poop on the mattress and at the corner of sofa. So bad for Lizar Poop!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, peaceful and quiet, the terrace from our room was beautiful looking over the pool and gardens to the river. The staff were lovely and the sunset boat trip superb the owner really personable
Cons: A fridge would have been nice to keep our water cold
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The place is amazing
Cons: We got the twin room in the main building next to the bar. Try to avoid this room or the one close by since can be noisy if you want to sleep in. The rest of the rooms were always fantastic
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool , location , staff ,
Cons: No electricity all the time , door key a bit problem.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very nice surrounding, on the river bank with Bokor view. It's nice to see the sunset there.
Cons: The resort can be sometimes crowded if it is fully occupied.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Considering all the stresses which are involved under the current climate. The hotel Staff and facilities were second to none. Ok. The menu for meals was a little light understandably. Also the hotel outside activities was cancelled, once again totally understandable. But the warm from the owners and all the staff were worth 6 stars out of five. This is why la Villa Vedici is and will always be my first choice to stay in Kampot. Thank you for everything and see you very soon.
Cons: Nothing

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: No very untidy Expensive tuktuk Very far from town area not convinient Dark road
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location, great food.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were amazing. So welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you! Facilities were incredible! Just what we needed after a busy few weeks travelling, relaxing by the pool and using the spa.
Cons: Location is far out from the centre, we hired a moped so could get around easily. With it being so far out from the centre and other venues, you don’t have much choice but to eat there. Food and drinks was amazing but pricey. The price does equal out if you were to get a Tuk tuk into town and get food.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The lovely people working there. Brian and Michelle and their staff are the sweetest people, making sure you have a good time and willing to help you with everything. We also really loved the free spa facilities!
Cons: We had no running water in our bungalow, twice. When we told the staff they made sure it got fixed but this was a bit inconvenient, especially if you want to use the shower. :)
7.0 Good
Pros: There was complimentary drinking water and free top ups to reduce plastic use! Shower was warm and had good pressure, big bathroom. Staff were friendly as were the doggos.
Cons: Location is pretty remote but you can see that before booking. We struggled with bugs, ants have magical powers and get everywhere, there was also a lot of red ants. The mosquitoe net had a little hole and had spiders and old bugs on it from previous use. Natural pool isn't for everyone.

Cons: No sun on the pool and small size old equipment
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was very comfortable. Control of the lighting accessible from you bed. Generally helpful staff relaxed atmosphere.
Cons: Could have been a fridge in the room but they let you use the one downstairs. No big deal, just a flight of stairs.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location close to the edge of of the old town.
Cons: Water from the bathroom was running into the main bedroom. We changed rooms but there was mosquitos and not cleaned properly. There were items from a previous guest (I guess) still there.
7.5 Good
Pros: Central location.Pool was small but ok for a quick dip.
Cons: Would prefer a fridge in the room, but i knew so i brought a small esky
5.0 Okay
Pros: Ok place- you get what you paid for. simple room, not the cleanest but the bed was clean which is enough, the pool looked nice but we didn’t tried it. The location is great- close to all the bars and restaurants in the area. If you are not picky I would recommend this hotel.
Cons: The room and the toilet weren’t clean, whenever you use the water in the sink or shower there is a leaking from the toilet- the flor was flooded. It’s a bit noisy in the morning, you hear the cleaning staff and other guests talking and closing the doors. The staff wasn’t very welcoming but it’s ok.

Pros: Great Location. Nice big room

Pros: Although the rooms are very tiny, they are clean and the beds are comfortable. The showers are powerful and they have hot water! Is only a 2 minute walk into town
6.0 Good
Pros: Pleasant, airy room. Quiet location.
Cons: Tiny bathroom, nowhere to put toiletries, not a shelf or a cabinet. Plumbing dodgy. Staff were apathetic, never a smile or a good morning.
6.0 Good
Cons: Way to expensive for this kind of room. The prices may be much lower after chinese new year but in that case it would just be a rip off to pay 40$ for this room.
6.7 Good
Pros: Good area, very close to city center. Place was quiet. They looked after our bikes when it was night. Has hot water and AC.
Cons: Rooms were only cleaned once someone checked out. The vent in the bathroom made a horrible shrieking sort of sound. Booked a bus to Phnom Penh but they neglected to tell us that they would pick us up half an hour before...we arrived when we thought said bus would pick us up only to find out it had left without us. They did however drive us to the bus stop themselves.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, clean room and beds. We stayed one night and were pleased with what we got. Value for money.
Cons: Staff were a bit lazy, but still very friendly so just could be more professional. Also, in our room, the toilet was sideways so made it hard to sit down.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good clean Khmer guesthouse, great location, super aircon
Cons: The stairs to top floor, I am quite lazy though
7.0 Good
Pros: Budget accommodation in a great location. Rooms spacious & clean. Lovely coffee shop next door.
Cons: Room was extremely hot. We had a room with a fan but air con is available at an additional cost. The bed was a small double & the mattress was a little uncomfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: For $8 we got a private double, private bath, with amazing wifi, clean and comfortable beds, and a modern, large Hotel Room. This place is amazing. (Extra for Air Conditioning)
Cons: Hot pipes ran through the back end of our room under the floor. Made it warm at night.

4.8 Okay
Pros: Very quiet place to simply chill out and relax. The bed was comfortable and you have the option to turn the air conditioner or ceiling fan on.
Cons: The shower pressure was low and there was no shampoo. Also, the safe deposit was not working.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms ere a good size and the bathroom was excellent Very charming well-restored hotel and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The cycle hire was very helpful. The roof top bar and free drink are a nice touch, and dinner was fine on the one occasion I ate there.
Cons: A pool might have been nice but I wouldn't call that a major omission and it's hard to fault anything else.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is very quiet, the free bikes is a plus. Location is not in the center but close enough to everything. Staff is really nice accommodating to everything.
Cons: General look of the rooms is a bit dated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifull place, friendly Familie, felling like home Own Pizza Ofen - best Pizza in town
Cons: Everything perfekt!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was really clean and lovely. Aircon was good. Ben and the staff were super helpful and Ben was able to organise our bus trip and a tuk tuk driver with good English to take us on a tour of the pepper farms and temple cave. Would definitely stay here again.
Cons: Mattress was firm but so was every other mattress we had in Cambodia.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The guesthouse is only 10 minutes walk to the centre of Kampot yet is lovely and quiet. The room was comfortable and clean. There is tea and coffee available and a very useful folder of information in each room. The seating area outside doubles as a pizza restaurant in the evening, which is popular. As a solo female traveller, it is a great choice - slightly away from the centre but I always felt safe walking back in the evening (although didn’t return later than 9pm).
Cons: The power of the shower wasn’t that strong, but that’s about it!
7.0 Good
Pros: The staff were great
Cons: No hot water in shower, room was kind small
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is excellent - a surprisingly quiet spot at the southern end of the city, near to the big Lotus Pond and just 50 m or so back from the riverfront road (the more southerly of the two buildings enjoys a glimpse of the river itself, and of the old bridge leading to 'Shore Island'). It's a little further out of the centre than I have usually stayed before, but an 8-10 minute walk to favourite bars and restaurants is not at all onerous. There's a sedate garden setting to this quite large property, and one or two of the rooms have very large private balconies. Furnishings are quite basic, but comfortable. Rooms are a good size. Wi-fi works pretty well (had to be manually re-set quite often, but that's the norm almost everywhere in Cambodia), cable TV has a few English channels, shower-heater is small but reasonably efficient. There's a small fridge, which is (most unusually) quiet enough to leave on over night; ceiling fans and A/C are also pretty quiet. Mattress is very firm (which is how I like it, but might not suit everyone). Free tea and coffee is available downstairs in the lobby, rather than in rooms.
Cons: I found the plank flooring in the shower area quite uncomfortable underfoot, and not efficient for drainage; it took the floor hours to dry out after even a brief shower. Curtains are better than many I've encountered in the region, but do not provide very good blackout if you want to sleep in in the mornings. Cleaners don't get the 'save resources' message: it's a bit of a struggle to get them not to give you new towels and water bottles every day!

Pros: A perfect place a little outside of the town next to the river where you can kayak, bycicle and/or chill out. We totally felt home there also because of the great staff! Everything was so easy to organise from there, also because it was so well arranged and the staff are really helpful! (Also motorbike rental is only 50 m from Ganesha) They have a great restaurant with really awesome and fresh food, a great chill out place next to the swimming lake and great and clean rooms/bungalows! For us a perfect place to enjoy the last 4 days of cambodia! Thank you to everybody from Ganesha!
7.0 Good
Pros: big garden, peacfull. good food.
Cons: to far to walk downtown
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a lovely place to come and relax. The staff was wonderful and super helpful with ideas for daily itineraries. Food is delicious and well priced. It's quite a bit out of town and some of the facilities (bathrooms) are more earthy than some would appreciate, even though it was just what I was looking for. They do have bicycles, scooters and kayaks to rent, so if you want to go out and about, it's easy enough. If you're looking for something calm and collected, this is it!
Cons: The pool wasn't full enough to use when I was there due to lack of rain, but the garden is still lovely to chill in and watch the sunset from.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really helpfull and friendly. The room is very comfortable and their smoothie... delicious!

7.9 Good
Pros: The most lovely garden with cabanas. The most cozy and pleasant common terrasse. Perfect hangout by the river. Cute and shoe stealing puppey around along with two other dogs and two cats. Best advices and tips for Kampot comes out of this place. (Thanks Margot!
Cons: Traffic noise from the main road close by. If you’re looking for the zen like river experience go further away from Kampot up the river. The cabanas were a bit dirty.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything so calm and cute
Cons: Location is a little far from the shopping areas and the river that pass by it’s not the main river. But still a good place.
6.0 Good
Pros: Great coffee, and good food which was averagely priced. The location itself is close enough to town and very green, bungalows are cute, bathrooms are clean. Most of the staff was really friendly and very accommodating, and for the price it's definitely worth it. Very nice to have access to scooters, and we got come great recommendations for places to see and restaurants to visit.
Cons: There was no soap (not ideal in the midst of Corona panic), and the guy who welcomed us was clearly out of it - he didn't book our friend's bungalow for three nights as we asked, so after two nights we were told that he would need to find a different hostel. Had we said nothing about staying, that'd be out problem of course, but moving guests out because others booked online only due to the staff slacking is not okay. Also, while the owner was mostly friendly, he went off at us about nothing one night when he was off his face, nearly shouting at one of my mates - also not cool. For the rest, everything was chill though.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cool location! The bungalows are very nice. Beautiful garden and a good place to chill. The food is cheap and delicious. You can rent a motorbike, bicycle or kayak. We were very glad, that we could stay there for six weeks. Thank you very much Ann-So, Antona and team.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The bungalow was lovely and equipped with everything we needed: little shelves, a fan, a mosquito net, and even a mosquito zapper! The setting was very peaceful and the host gave us some good advice on what to do in and around Kampot. Kampot Cabana isn't directly in the centre, but within walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Cons: You have to get your own toilet paper if you prefer to use toilet paper (which you obviously throw in the bin, not the toilet).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The little black puppy was the cutest thing.
Cons: So many mosquitos -.- The property does their best to work this situation. They provide each room with a mosquito zapper and a net.

Pros: I'm staying here for a few weeks until my new place is ready to move into. It's been lovely so far. Very kind owners, nice quiet location. Very nice owners. Cute bungalows Great quality food and drinks
Cons: I struggle to find anything I don't like.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great room, fabulous food and cocktails, well equipped gym. Lovely size pool. Friendly kind staff.
Cons: Having to leave!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nataya Roundhouse Resort is a twenty minute taxi ride from Kampot and a three hour road journey from Phnom Phen airport. It certainly feels like a distant outpost and would not be your choice if you wanted to spend your holiday exploring Cambodia. Which is just as well, as for the six days we spent there we just did not want to leave. The spot I found in the shade of the trees, overlooking the gently lapping waves next to the spotlessly clean infinity pool was an idyll. The sea breeze, the lush green vegetation, the purple, yellow and white flowers scattered around, the friendly greeting by the pool attendant...I felt relaxed and comfortable, as I watched the local fishermen hauling in their nets, their boats going back and forth. We stayed in a round house, well to be more accurate, half a round house, cool and comfortable, solid dark wood fittings, clean and spacious, an outdoor private bath and shower in its own little leafy courtyard, a cosy window seat overlooking the plants and trees, with the sea and the orange and pink sunsets beyond. And then there was the food. Some say that in an unfamiliar place you should eat where the locals eat...at Nataya a steady stream of people came over the New Year weekend, eating seafood fresh off the barbecue, creating a lively vibe we appreciated as we sat on the restaurant verandah, cleaning our plates of delicious food, with a cold beer served by smiling and attentive staff. Nataya has a simple, rustic, quirky charm. We loved the natural surroundings, the long pier for sunset walks, the geckos, frogs, butterflies, birds, and even the wandering skinny cats. There is a gym, spa, boats and fishing gear to rent, but that was not what we came for. We chilled, we ate, we swam, and it was brilliant.
Cons: More cushions and tables at the pool. Not all the poolside beds/ chairs had cushions. Extra towels available at the pool would be better.
6.3 Good
Pros: Environment
Cons: Air conditioner is not cool, old
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Pool , view , food n staff

9.0 Excellent
Pros: They do a great job about setting the atmosphere to have fun and meet others. The happy hour at the rooftop is great. Thankfully they also keep the noise down after late hours.
Cons: Tried the "firefly" tour. It was nice to be on the river at sunset but it was more like a drinking boat tour than a firefly watching tour. I was told we would see some. However, we returned even before it got dark and the organizer said "they don't really appear anymore". Location is a few mins walking distance from the main area of bars and restaurants / cafes.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were amazing. Jack, James and Alfie especially !
7.5 Good
Pros: Joss shots and tiger who works on the rooftop bar. Thanks for serving us quickly and being a legend.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The firefly cruise (though without fireflies) was an amazing cruise and I had alot of fun. The staff doing the tours and activities are really what made me give the hostel higher rating than I had planned. They are amazing people. Really helpful and nice genuine guys. Big shout out to them <3 ~ The location is also really great, next to the river with a convenience store just across the street. And walking distance to alot of restaurants. Love the half-hour-free beer and that the lockers are spacious +spacious beds.
Cons: The first 2 days I was there the pool was extremely dirty, lotsa dead insects. Even after getting cleaned it wasn't in pristine condition. The beer prices are too high. Instead of the usual 1$ it is 1,25$ which I find a bit excessive when can get draft beers for 0,5$ in almost every restaurant. The electricity stopped working sometimes. Maybe because the construction work going on next door. I slept on the ground floor (mango room). There are windows into the hallway and my bed was right next to the window. So had the light shinning in my face making it hard to sleep until they turn of the light (one night they forgot). Maybe get curtains for those windows or just cover them up even though it might destroy a bit of the visual aspect.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hostel, with lot's of activities planned. The rooms are kept clean. The staff was friendly. Would recommend to solo travelers. Everything you need is on the property from food to scooter rentals.
Cons: The wrist bands are annoying,

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice spacious room, big and clean pool, nice and cozy feel to the place, excellent breakfast, very walkable distance from the town centre, easy access everywhere with a motorbike
Cons: Expensive bar, just one chair on the balcony, a noisy street market for our whole stay right infront of the hotel which was bad luck, don't arrange a tuktuk through the hotel - it's totally overpriced.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, room was comfortable and served us well while we were here. Nice to have a pool to cool down from the heat.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: I'm staying here for a few weeks until my new place is ready to move into. It's been lovely so far. Very kind owners, nice quiet location. Very nice owners. Cute bungalows Great quality food and drinks
Cons: I struggle to find anything I don't like.
7.9 Good
Pros: Friendly owners, nice riverside location, attractive garden area.
Cons: It’s a long way from town so get a bike first. Also, although it seems quiet, the neighboring Khmer places are really loud.
1.0 Poor

Cons: The owner was insulting and rude. He had no idea how to treat guests.
