Car hire at Karachi Quaid-E-Azam Intl Airport

All of the car hire companies servicing Karachi Quaid-E-Azam Airport have offices outside of the airport, and offer a shuttle service from the main doors of the airport to their rental offices. When you book your Karachi Quaid-E-Azam Airport car hire,  you will receive a confirmation including details of the location of the office and the shuttle service to get you there.

You will need to provide your full and valid driver’s license, that you have held for at least 12 months. You will likely need to provide a second form of ID such as a passport, and your major credit card to cover the booking, deposit and any added services. Insurance is a requirement to drive in Pakistan, and if you are opting to use your own coverage instead of what’s offered by the car hire at Karachi Quaid-E-Azam Airport, make sure to have some paperwork with you to confirm your policy coverage and validity.

No real requirement comes with driving in Pakistan, so it comes down to both personal preference and your individual needs, such as the size of your travel party and how much luggage you have, and whether you are traveling in a warm season and may need to ensure you have good air conditioning to keep cool. A compact or standard vehicle will do fine, and if your travel plans include a lot of city driving you may find a smaller car feels more comfortable as some streets can be narrow. If you are planning a lot of driving, and further out of the cities, an SUV may be a good idea as some of the roads out of the city areas can get rougher.

The only car rental company that offers shuttle or pick-up services from Karachi Quaid-E-Azam Intl airport to off-airport locations is Europcar.
