When you stay at Milaki Kimolos in Kimolos, you'll be near the beach and 6 minutes by foot from Psáthi. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: The Room was spacious and well decorated. We loved the fact that the breakfast was served at the room at the time of your convenience!
Cons: During the night it gets a bit noisy and in the morning, some light gets in the room. maybe better windows would help
Pros: Milaki is located super conveniently between the arrival place/port on the island and the village center. Rooms are big and clean and the AC keeps it cool during the warm days. Staff is really hospitable and helpful. Beautiful property
Pros: staff very friendly big rooms good bathroom
Cons: no view super hot outside the room no tent mediocre breakfast
Pros: Very spacious rooms, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. The rooms were very clean. Excellent breakfast consisting of yogurt with honey, croissants, eggs, various fruits and cheeses, freshly squeezed orange juice, coffee and tea. The woman who was in charge of housekeeping was extremely nice and did an exceptional job every morning! Would definitely stay here again!
Cons: The only draw back is that it is a 10 to 15 minute walk to the main Chorio but the experience at the hotel makes up for it!
Pros: Coco-mat mattress included!
Pros: Clean and comfortable room, location is great (close and walking distance to Chora).
Cons: Breakfast (definitely needs an upgrade - i.e. offer local products) Amenities ("Karavaki" products is not what someone would expect at these prices, other well known Greek brands should be considered and offered to guests). Overall, value for money is poor
With a stay at The Windmill Kimolos in Kimolos, you'll be near the beach, just a 1-minute walk from Psáthi and 14 minutes by foot from Mersíni. Featured amenities include luggage storage and coffee/tea in a common area. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Very clean rooms, modern bathroom but traditional setting inside a windmill. Excellent, super comfy bed and spacious bathroom/shower. The staff were professional and helpful offering tips about the island. Augoustis is the best!
Cons: Just the lack of an outside drying rack.
Pros: A lovely little place to stay in Kimolos - well-located a short walk from the port and to Chorio, and a well-maintained property. Breakfast (pita, croissants, bread, a selection of a la carte meals and a generous serve of fruit) was excellent.
Pros: Great position between the port and the village. Wonderful view from the Windmill. Very comfortable bed. Nice staff, good breakfast!
Pros: Exceptional abundant and quality breakfast, amazing view from the bar area and extremely comfy bed.
Cons: Our room had the porch right in front of the parking lot, so it was a bit annoying to find scooter or cars parked next to it, and people passing in front of the door step to access the bar. From our room, because just behind the bar, you could hear people chatting loudly until closing.
With a stay at Bonatsa Beach House Kimolos in Kimolos, you'll be just steps from Mponatsa and Kalamítsi. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: We stayed in Ellinika which has slightly more room than the others which was nice. The bathroom is also modern and sapcious. It also has windows and doors back and front which lets you get a nice breeze blowing through the room and means you don't have to use the air conditioning so much. The view from the window is amazing looking out to sea and the island oppoite. The balcony is shaded in the afternoon and nice and breezy which makes it good for sitting out and reading. Litsa was a brilliant host and served up wonderful breakfasts. We love how Aria decorate and present their rooms. Bonatsa beach is lovely and the beach club set up works well. Their is a regular bus into town and the port which drops you right at the apartment. It was like having a personal taxi and even ran at 10.00 at night. Kalamitsi taverna is very special and has the most wonderful setting. All in all this apartment and setting was idyllic for us. Very peaceful when we were there.
Cons: There was no breakfast buffet, we had to choose at the check in what exactly we would like to eat for breakfast as well as the time we would like to have it in order to serve us.. Because of this we were expecting at least everything to be freshly baked etc but turned out everything was quite old. Also the reception was nowhere near the place. We arrived late at night at bonatsa and had to go all the way back near the port for check in and key collection (we had contacted the reception from the ferry to let them know we where arriving at the island but no one told us about the different location)
Pros: The room was very comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly. The view from the balcony was beautiful.
Cons: Would have been really nice to be met at the port, instead of being given a map and struggling up a hill on an island we’ve never been to before with 2 suitcases. Breakfast could have been organised better, ( a buffet?), and extra tables and chairs on the higher balcony, as we had to wait for the 1st people to finish their breakfast before we could have ours.
Pros: The location of the beach house was excellent. Next to the beach, beautiful view and nice balcony. The first row of sunbeds were always kept for us and the beach is definitely one of the best on Kimolos. Breakfast was served on a small porch everyday and was tasteful and fresh.
Cons: At first glance the location and view really justifies the price however during our first shower me and my boyfriend felt that the water coming out was electrocuting us and made our shower really uncomfortable. Of course we mentioned it to the staff and reception that there was definitely a problem with electricity running through the water and they said they would water the plants or soil outside and it would be fixed. The problem insisted ( total 4 days) and on the last day I couldn’t even wash my hands without getting electrocuted. This is a major health hazard and I am really disappointed that it wasn’t taken seriously. It is a shame because the place was really beautiful and we could have had a much better experience.
Pros: The proximity to the beach and the view
Cons: The difficulty to check in/out The lack of privacy in the balcony
Pros: Location location location
Cons: Got a slight electric shock from the shower in our room Petalina.see trip advisor, this has been reported for several years. Breakfast boring and quality inconsistent, bread sometimes stale, not enough butter or honey provided. Coffee, unless espresso, very variable. Food covers would be ideal but not used so bread and croissants had to be carefully watched as there are a lot of flies and I mean a lot..probably due to excellent location. Lots of ants too so be extra careful not to drop anything and wash your feet before entering room. Fridge was only stocked with 2 small bottles of water on our late arrival and then you have to buy your water every day. Pod coffee machine in room with the silliest thermal cups -(very difficult to hold when containing hot liquid) 2 pods allocated daily but no sugar milk or teaspoon provided but there was a bottle opener. Really aggravating in such a peaceful location was the unexplained noisy water system, it would refill very noisy at random times through the day and night, even when our neighbours and ourselves weren’t using the water. No privacy only one terrace for each room so everyone walks past Petalina to get to their room. The final Step down to the road/beach has a fall in excess of twelve inches and is uneven and unfinished, let’s hope no one falls. We were invited to a moon party at the Aria windmill but as the location was 5 km away, didn’t commence till 7 and the last bus into town was at 16:40 and no return till the next morning I don’t know how they expected us to attend, to make the effort to host a party I would have provided transport for all my guests at my cost. Cigarette butt free beach advertised but they are still freely handing out plastic straws encased in a plastic wrapper. They are building a new terrace it was a shame this wasn’t done before the June holiday makers arrived. The beach houses are quite a way from town and no one checked everything was okay once during our weeks stay.
Pros: Fantastic location. Konstantantinos was extremely helpful and we really appreciated his help, thank you. The staff at the beach bar were really friendly and helpful too. Thank you to them for everything. We will definitely be back.
