We requested a quiet room but were given one overlooking the front. The noise from people drinking in the bars kept us awake until the early hours. No air conditioning and it was too hot to shut the window. Bed not very comfortable.
We were late booking and our room was probably not the best they had, but it was beautifully done, a bit out of the way but everything about it was great. More than the room though is the quality of the food. We toured northern Spain and the west coast of France for three weeks and this was, without doubt, the best meal of our trip. Beautifully served, the food from amuse niche, through starter, main, pre dessert and dessert were great. It’s a lovely place to stay, but it’s an even better place to eat.
It was very wam during our stay and there was no air conditioning, but in a building this old you don’t really expect any.
The hotel well situated in charming village. The hotel resturant and room excellent.
Easy walk to historic quarter and port area. Big room. Quiet. Friendly staff.
Everything was really enjoyable, we had a very good stay. The food was really lovely for the whole family. We got served tasty and locally produced groceries and poultry. The bedrooms (we had 2) are cosy and very clean. We appreciated the kindness of the staff.
